Last week or so I spent a good few days falling back in love with traditional art, and so I decided to fill an entire page with colored pencils

Only one of these drawings is almost fully done with markers and it's the only one from way back in 2021, while all the others (except for Aliara's jacket) are color pencils

The background's all washi tapes!

I'm really proud of how this looks, so I'm including a few close ups of some of the drawings that I really really liked, as well as some credits under the cut!

The grumpus with the pink fur, blue hair and purple hat is Parstel, who belongs to @hyper-fixator !

The blue gal with the ponytail is Jerejamlie, who belongs to @soulthefunnyman !

The purple gal with blonde hair is a fanart for Holly Hollowtones back in 2021! It's the only drawing that was already old, while all the others were recently made earlier this month

"Snaktooth Warriors" Character Concept: Parstel

More Snaktooth Warriors stuff, this time including the soft gravedigger boi Parstel Sprankelfun from @hyper-fixator ! I was having fun with this concept, and since it gave me the chance to practice art and draw friends' OCs I decided to continue rolling with it!

Also Parstel is a very good lad and I wish him nothing but the best

Parstel is typically known for his more gloomy and intimidating nature, and his career as a mortician doesn't exactly help that. But in this AU, Parstel decides to use that to his advantage to help fight for his friends! Armed with his trademark shovel and a variety of mortician tools, he'll use his air of death to protect the lives around him!

His gameplay style is one of the more simple ones, but also requires a bit of attention. While his regular attacks don't do much, any enemy hit with a strong attack obtains the "Dread" effect, put off by his morbid nature. This effect doesn't do anything on its own aside from producing a light purple haze ring around the enemy, which lasts around 12-13 seconds. This effect can be put onto several enemies at a time, having no limit.

Where this really comes into effect is when Parstel uses that feeling of dread to his advantage. By pressing the special action button Parstel can intimidate the enemy in a variety of ways (eerily patting his shovel, glaring at the enemy, showing off his tools, etc.), reminding them of their eventual fate. This does nothing to those with Dread aside from stunning them for 1 second.

Enemies intimidated with the Dread effect though become "Doomed," signified by a dark, rigid purple ring and X. Any Doomed enemies are stunned for 3-4 seconds and take about 50% more damage than before! This effect lasts for around 12-13 seconds, allowing the player to get some real damage in.

This effect isn't permanent though, as those who stick around Parstel long enough begin to see his true, softer nature. So when the Doom effect wears off, enemies cannot be Doomed again for about 15 seconds, so it's important to make that brief window count and lay on the damage. Parstel's special does inflict enemies with Doom right away though, even if the effect just wore off, so you could also use that to extend that chance if needed!

Overall Parstel's skill is simple to learn, but with the right management and a bit of planning you can go the extra mile and shred through enemy health bars! Group enemies together with regular/tool attacks then activate Doom and go to town!
