the thing is, despite as much as Man-at-Legs fucking JUMSCARED ME when I first saw it (not even in the story mode yet I let myself get addicted to playing challenge mode pretty much as soon as I unlocked it) it is 100% the sort of thing Andy from Heart of Darkness would build. No doubts.

And then my thought process after that immediately jumps to the art that exists from when I was like 7 that I drew of Red Spot with a fucking machine gun turret on his back and how that's the same fucking shit.

No clue if I'd be able to find that again but I remember it VIVIDLY.

literally so obsessed with the apparently very heavy overlap between pizza tower and pikmin fans. like literally what possible connection is there between these games and/or gameplay styles. is it just that they're stressful. do we all just like being stressed when we play these games. do we just like funny little men who are going the fuck through it. what gives.

the pikmin 1 ending is lowkey very disturbing, yet more upbeat than it could have been. assuming olimar retains consciousness and abilities as a pikmin, he is more than capable of surviving on PNF-404, however because he's now reliant on oxygen, he can never come home to his wife and kids again, which throughout the diary entries and flavor text, we can see olimar already doesn't get to see much, despite caring dearly for them. it's a bittersweet bad end that honestly brings a tear to my eye when i think about it too hard ;^^
