OK, here we go: my thoughts pit babe final episode

OK, where do I start?

First of all, I really loved that the Charliebabe reunion went like in the novel. No fighting, just relief the he is alright.

I was already jelling internally, when kenta handed that USB to Alan, but then he fucking stabbed Tony and I was screaming.

HE DID EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL WANTED HIM TO DO.

(On a side note, he's probably in prison for that now. For helping Tony for so long and literal murder. Sorry to all the people who want to see him all happy

I'm one of the people, by the way.)

He grew so much in the last few episodes and I just wanna give him a hug.

fuck yeah. Kim my baby. He did exactly what we wanted him to do.

Kick that asshole winner's ass.

(Also, absolutely love that he ended up on the x-hunter team. I love him)

Love the reunion between babe and his dad. In the novel babe is like: why do I always get played by the people I love and have to forgive them. But then he does and I like that it's obvious he loves his dad, but he also needs some time.

Loved this scene, since I saw it in the intro, but it was just so perfect.

On the other hand, I've read the novel before the series ended and knew that way was going to die, so i dont know why I was surprised when he did die in the series. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not mourning him.) Maybe I thought he wouldn't die, because of his popularity in the Fandom.

Also, where the fuck are the rest of my ships?????

Way died before he and Pete could kiss (Pete's gonna be singel for the rest of his life now, or what?), north and sonic are just obvious idiots and kentakim.....

(the first thing I jelled when it was over was: where the duck is my kentakim?)

Maybe we will get some special episodes. (Please)

For now I just need to figure out how to live on and what to do on Fridays now

And I need so much fanfic now, please give me fanfic to read, so I can forget the series is over.

And so I bid PitBabe farewell. Who'd have thunk that I'd enjoy an Omegaverse car racing BL? Not me that's for sure. Pavel makes me slightly feral though so maybe it's not a complete surprise.

Tony got his comeuppance from Kenta - poor, damaged boy. I hope Pete gets over his brief Way crush and looks after him for the rest of his life. Alan and Jeff were perfection - just gorgeous. 10/10, no notes. Still not sold on Pooh as Charlie but hey, you can't have everything.

Casting niggles aside, it was great. I didn't need to go to 1.5 speed ONCE, which is kinda amazing. The NC scenes were nicely done and seemed to get more, I dunno, revealing? as the show progressed - possibly mirroring the increased emotional intimacy? Plus the production quality was high - it must have cost a bomb with all the racing/car destruction etc.

The complete absence of women was quite striking. I mean, they obviously exist - we saw a few in the background sometimes but I suppose if you're going to go Omegaverse then you might as well go full throttle (heh). I also quite liked the rejigging of the traditional A/B/O lore as well. If I'm going to have to watch mpreg let it be an Alpha.

SO - good bingewatch, most satifying. Now what to binge next? Something recent? Love for Love's Sake seems to have a good rep. Or something from my enforced BL drought last year - I Feel You Linger In The Air? Answers on a postcard please,

I just had a thought about Alan and Jeff and OMG

Imagine Alan seeing Jeff dress up for the first time ever, and he just 😳...

It was one of the days they decided to meet up at their usual club to relieve all the stress after a race. But what Alan didn't know is north and sonic ganging up to bully jeff into dressing him up, doing his hair and makeup. During all this process, both gremlins kept making him blush by saying dirty comments like "he's going to take you home right when he sees you", "you look so hot Alan's going to take you right there in front of people". And what HE didn't know is that they were partially right.

When they went to the club, everyone's jaw dropped. No one expected to see Jeff at his full glory that day least of them his boyfriend (mate). Charlie, babe, kim and even way kept praising the work and jeff's hidden beauty. But jeff was waiting for one particular person's reaction. Even though Alan's blush could be seen from a distance, jeff needed the former's praise to believe it.

And everyone can expect what happened after that. The alpha stopped daydreaming and suddenly released a scent of possessiveness. He grabbed his mate's hand and left with him to the car and then home (they did some unspeakable things in the car before alan drove home)

Tomorrow they went to work late and everyone tried to avoid looking at jeff's neck (it looked like it was mauled by a bear) except north and sonic who were too proud of their work to not comment on their magnificent work's results.

Random thoughts about Pit Babe the series ep 6.

▪️Charlie and Babe are back in their blissful happiness. They are again very much in love and describing each other as boyfriends. I found it a bit cringe when they called each other Papa and Mama but everyone has their own kink, I wouldn't judge them if they enjoy this kind of pet name.

▪️I cared more about Jeff and Alan not being at odds anymore. I'm glad Jeff forgave him and his little Love Actually's apology was cute anyway. Jeff found that old fashioned but I loved that they made the reference. Can't wait to see them sharing more loving time together.

▪️I found the conversation hilarious between Babe and Jeff. Now that Babe knows Jeff if Charlie's brother he wants to be more friendly with him. Of course, it's better to have a good relationship with your boyfriend's sibling. I really like how Jeff was protective of Charlie. Their siblings' relationship is lovely.

▪️I'm not going to talk about Dean because frankly I don't really care about this character.

▪️I know I should feel more empathy towards Way because it is heartbreaking to finally realize you will never be with the person you love but I can't forget that he tried for a long time to manipulate Babe. Being in love doesn't justify his actions. I also agree that Charlie isn't really truthful with Babe either but I find him more excuses than Way. 😔 Seems like Pete will be around Way in the next episode so he may be able to move on and find another lover.

▪️No Kenta x Kim in this episode and it's a damn shame if you ask me.

I felt like this episode was more or less a filler but maybe it's just me.

I have a hot take and that is that Kim from PitBabe would be a Vi (Arcane), Maki (JJK), and Zoro (One Piece) kinnie. Characters that are badass, intelligent, can be serious but also hot headed and sometimes snarky, confident but also have a bit of an inferiority complex going on, blunt to a fault, and fiercely protective of those they care about. He would 100% kin those three.

So as a major LITA and Kinnporsche lover I was already on board with the headcannon of Phayu as VegasPete's kids and Prapai as KinnPorsche's kid. I mean ignoring timelines and ages of all actors involved there is a lot of similarities in their appearance and personalities.

Phayu is connected with the Mafia, he loves bikes (like Vegas), has a dark/dominant side (like Vegas), but also values his close friendships and is incredibly loyal (like Pete).

Prapai is connected with the Mafia, he loves bikes (like Porsche), is CEO/good at business (like Kinn), is a bit of a playboy, a great big brother, and very loyal and protective to those close to him.

Now to finish the trio, and since I loved the craziness that was Pitbabe, I would like to induct Babe into my headcannon family as the kid of KimPorchay. I shall ignore the cannon plot of Babe's dad cause I could still see Babe fitting in with this family and having influences. Also I feel like Babe reminds me of Kim in that he puts on a hard shell but is secretly a softy inside.

I can picture Phayu, Prapai, and Babe racing each other and arguing over bikes vs cars. I think Rain, Sky, and Charlie would also be a chaotic trio of besties.

I really hope that the fanfiction authors flourish in this universe and bring us many crossovers :)

So I’ve been thinking about Sonic clearly being an Omega and I now feel like that’s against the spirit of Pit Babe to assign him that role just because of how he looks. Let’s be honest Pit Babe saw the traditional A/B/O rules and laughed in our faces.

Traditionally Omegas are shown as more feminine and softer than their Alpha counterparts. In this camp I would also throw Kenta and Dean. IF Pit Babe had Betas I would say Winners ass would be in there no question.

To me Alphas dominate a space, Betas are bro dudes, and Omegas are soft sweet baby angels.

Pit babe posits that A/A works. We see this in CharlieBabes dynamic- Babe physically submits to Charlie in the barest of ways while still having the Alpha attitude.

But how do we know A/O works? We don’t really see Jeff submit or be a traditional omega other than being smol.

NOW Sonic is an Alpha in the PitBabe Novel. You expect me to look at this man and say yeah he’s on the same dominating level as Babe or Alan or Pete or Kim or even flipping Way?

Nope not happening. But looking at North I can’t see it in him either.

SO after reading every single NorthSonic SonicNorth fanfic I could get my hands on- I say maybe every time North jumps in between Sonic and danger-it’s because of his Omega instincts to protect his family.

AND the reason Sonic doesn’t manhandle him out of the way to protect him instead- is because he’s a Beta.

And with this view I will say IF Kim were to join these 2 then they would truly be A/B/O and their relationship would thrive because that’s how it works.

Rewatching Pitbabe cause I am unemployed and bored and I have to say this is one of my favorite cinematic shots in the show.

I love how you see Jeff running towards the camera but he is running away from the light and into darkness. On one hand, if you considered Jeff a shady character you could see it as him betraying his brother and X-Hunter. But in another sense you can see it as he and Charlie going far into their choices, choices that are not inherently good. You see Jeff's face in the light as he is talking to (I assume Kenta) about his end of the deal then they switch to complete darkness.

We also see Jeff looking at his phone, possibly contemplating the actions he and Charlie are taking. What that means for them and the team and how this will progress. There isn't a guarantee that it will work and he doesn't even know if Charlie will survive what they are about to do.

Finally, we see Jeff walking slowly toward the darkness/camera and then going into a run because there is no turning back now. They made their choices and they have to keep going in hopes of resolving this for everyone involved. This can also be perceived as the beginning of the end for the characters. Charlie's accident scene barrels into the final stages of the show's plot and acts as a catalyst for the other characters.

It sparks Babe's desire for vengeance and answers, Alan/Jeff coming together, Kim's release, Pete and Way's alliance, and Way's (be it short-lived) insertion back into the group.

Also, and this is my last thing, Pon killed it in this scene. I love his take on Jeff and his emotions are always spot on. Can't wait for him and Sailub's new drama.

But yeah, basically I love a cinematographer with a vision.
