A bit of a novel spoiler for you:
An interesting part of the novel that they seemingly kept out of the series is one of Jeff’s visions that really get Charlie and him to the fake death point. In his visions he sees himself having Charlie’s baby and it freaks them both out. In the show, Tony considers Charlie next to useless which is still true in the novel but, he did plan on mating Charlie and Jeff. It’s not a super-needed addition to the story but it is one of the reasons Jeff is so stressed out about Tony’s plans. He and Charlie really see each other as brothers so the thought that he’s done that with Charlie sends them both spiraling.

If I was Babe and I found out that Charlie wasn’t actually dead.. I WOULD BE HEATED!!
Babe has already been gaslighted enough 😭 he’s been through way too much shit. Like.. he finds out his best friend of 10 years was actually a spy the whole time??? A spy sent there to make a baby??? Charlie been stealing his powers the whole time while he didn’t even know it?? THEN HIS POWERS COME BACK AND NOW CHARLIE IS REALLY ‘CONFIRMED’ DEAD?? He felt SO much pain thinking he was dead. FAKE FUNERAL AND EVERYTHING!!!
girl, I would lose my shit if I was babe right now omg

"Average person in Pit Babe has 10 superpowers" factoid actually is just a statistical error. average person has 0 to 1 powers. Alpha Georg Charlie who lives in Babe's apartment and has 200 powers is an outlier and should not have been counted

I want Babe to slap Charlie when he finds him alive.
Like first thing, *slap*. Then it's a hug. Charlie doesn't even have time to process. So he's all, "ok, sure, if this is what--"YOU IDIOT! YOU COULDNT TELL ME?!" Babe shakes him violently with tears in his eyes. But then, "I LOVE YOU! IDIOT! I LOVE YOU! YOU HEAR ME? I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOU!" *goes back to crying into Charlie's shoulder all the while Charlie is just confused as to why he can hear so many heartbeats*
Im expecting mpreg, but I completely understand if this doesn't happen. Imagine the outcry if it did though. Pft. I'd make sure to put the kettle on for my tea.

Charlie originally wasn’t selfish (novel comparision)
Actually, I don’t really blame people for not liking Charlie, because I also am upset with what drama did to his character. There are many reasons to dislike him, starting from the fact he lied to Babe and schemed behind his back, ending at what made it worse - that he promised to never hurt Babe ever again, but repeated it and never apologized.
However, in the novel he approached Babe purely for the fact that he heard Tony’s gonna hurt a person named Babe and make him pregnant with their house’s Enigma's child. He especially searched for Babe to save him from this fate, terrified by his adoptive parent cruelty. Only after watching his races did he get interested in it and started admiring Babe. Yes, he planned to take his power. No, he didn’t plan to use him to fight against Tony. His sole purpose was to shift Tony’s attention from Babe to himself, which also meant making himself the new target. He didn’t gain anything from it, it only made his life more difficult. And he chose to do that, because he really fell for Babe.
When Charlie faked his death, unlike from what was in the drama, he was dying from guilt. He couldn’t forgive himself for doing this to Babe, for hurting him like that despite promising not to lie again. He hated himself to the point of not feeling worthy to come back to Babe’s side after everything ended. It was a really big deal for him and I have no idea why it was cut out from the series.
There was this one scene in the novel, in which Charlie called Babe in the middle of the night just to hear his voice. Encountering the silence, Babe started asking desperately if it was him, but Charlie didn’t respond, he just cried silently. And afterwards, when Babe saw Charlie during Tony’s auction and realized he’s still alive, he wasn’t mad at all, actually, he was happy beyond recogniction and he kept repeating how he knew he didn’t actually die. He didn’t care about his reasons, didn’t demand an apology, he was just so glad to have him back. Every of this made Charlie realize just how much his actions broke Babe and because of that he felt even worse with himself. He wasn’t as shameless as in the drama, coming back like nothing happened, without any consequences.
In their relationship, it was always Charlie making every decision. And so, at the end he decided to give Babe something nor he, nor Way never did - freedom. He told him everything and let Babe choose what to do next. After hurting him so much, Charlie didn’t feel like he deserved to be with him anymore. But Babe asked him not to be selfless for a moment and confess what was in his heart, whether he himself wanted to stay. When he replied he really did want to stay, Babe said that he should, then. Just like this.
And Charlie realized that with him or without him, Babe was already miserable. By leaving, he would make him even more unhappy. Despite his massive guilt, he stayed. He stayed, because he truly loved Babe. No matter how hard it was for him emotionally, he did what Way couldn’t - he chose the difficult thing, to atone for his mistakes for the rest of his life. He chose to make Babe the happiest he could.
Unlike from the drama, it took time for them to come back to normal. Babe was suffering from depression and PTSD, had to took medications and had trouble sleeping. Whenever Charlie disappeared, even for a moment, he would start panicking, but after finding Charlie in another room, he would still tell him to stop feeling guilty after seeing him getting scared like this. Both of them fought for the relationship at the time - Babe by learning to trust again, Charlie by supporting him nonstop.
I think there’s a big difference between Charlie in the drama and in the novel. Because in the drama, he crushed Babe mentally, causing him a massive trauma, and came back like nothing happened. On the contrary, novel’s Charlie stayed, because that’s what Babe needed him to do, instead of running away from the responsibility like he intended.

Pete X Kenta 😌
This kinda reminds me of VegasXPete
I already assumed it when Daddy Tony left Kenta with Pete. And my assumption didn't took much time to become reality. But Kenta still like Pete and I'm waiting for Pete X Way content 😭

Okay, hear me out....I know we are all pretty upset at Charlie for yet again putting Babe through absolute hell (not me though, this is a Charlie is doing his best account) but he kind of helped the situation. Charlie's "death" made it possible for a few things to happen:
Tony thought Babe was no longer of use meaning he was not constantly stalking his every move. Making it easier for Babe to join Pete and Way in their plan.
Kenta "failed" Tony yet again. This gets us closer and closer to Kenta completely going rogue. We see a piece of that when he lets Jeff go.
We get to see that Babe's dad is alive and regretful of what he did. And that he has been working diligently to undo all his wrongs.
More secrets were able to come out too; like Dean being a spy, PeteKenta being a thing, and there's a whole drug on the market to erase their All For One quirks (I'm sorry lol but that's all I think about when watching this show).
I am not saying it was right but I am saying Charlie dying helped a whole lot of the plot keep moving because let's be honest; there's a reason Jeff kept seeing everyone die. The original plans were just not working...

Pitbabe episode 12
I’m surprised that Kenta helped Jeff, was not expecting that. Also, was not expecting Charlie at the end just showing up out of nowhere! What an entrance for your boyfriend who thinks you’re dead 😭😭
I honestly kinda thought that even though Charlie faked his death, that Jeff’s visions would still come true. I mean, we did see Babe get a bloody head? Although, in the previews they pretty much make it seem like they’re gonna make it out fine since Alan and Jeff are back in the house and Charlie and babe are at the lockers lol.

Glad to know I’m not the only one that thought pitbabe ep 11 was inspired by some hardcore Romeo Juliet apothecary shiz. Wdym there’s a drug that puts you in a deathlike state and then revives you???? Charlie had some guts being a lab rat for that. And then he has the clueless audacity to ask if Babe was SAD. I’m sorry but SAD was an understatement

Why Way didn't deserve redemption he received in the drama
While everyone is crying about Way's death, I just can't help but feel nauseous. It's upsetting how drama changed the original story, giving his character much lighter shades of gray. They excused this r*pist-to-be by changing his motives and making him less slimy.
In the novel Way wants to r*pe Babe because he gets rejected. Tries to take him by force because he's not willing. Babe himself comments that it's like Way doesn't even treat him like a real person. What Way does is not only s*xual assault, but also taking away Babe's freedom, which he considers the most important thing in his life after escaping from Tony's hands. Way tries to selfishly own him and bend him to his own will. It's not love, it's obsession and possessiveness.
Babe firmly states in the novel that he doesn't want to ever have children and that he hates them. Way, who should know him the best after all those years, reveals that he was waiting for Babe to change his mind, want to willingly have s*x with him and bear his children to start a happy family. He says that after getting to know Babe, he fell in love with him and decided not to follow Tony's orders to take Babe by force. Well, when reality turned out to be different from his expectations, he used force after all. What an angel.
Babe completely breaks down at this point, not recognizing this person who he used to call his best friend. He yells "So what?! Should I be thanking you that you generously decided not to rape me?!". And boy, he is so right. Way dehumanizes Babe, treats him like his possession. And that's not all. The reason why Babe didn't have any lover and sticked to one-night stands is Way, too. Everytime Babe got close to anyone, Way was making him anxious and insecure about the relationship. He repeated how everyone will betray him anyways, that no one can be trusted. Way brainwashed Babe into thinking he doesn't deserve love. What he did is sick and unforgivable. He doesn't deserve to be called Babe's friend.
And everyone seems to forget that in the drama Way is a manipulative b*tch, too. Is it what a friend does, lying for years and hypnotizing the other person to make them obedient? It's treating Babe like a doll. When you truly love someone, you wish the best for them, you want their happiness and to give them freedom, even if this freedom means they don't choose you. Way repeats how much he loves Babe many times, but it's a filthy and immature type of love.
The drama simplifies everything, taking out the morally difficult elements and emotional crisis that Babe goes through in the novel. I thought I'll throw up after hearing Babe say he's never been mad at Way and that he loves him. It's just... sigh, what the actual f*ck. In the novel Babe is conflicted after Way's death. He mourns him and is furious at the same time. Furious that Way decided to sacrifice himself, as if it could make Babe forgive him instantly. He considers it to be quite an audacious move. Babe is angry that by this Way tries to take away his right to be mad at him. There's a deep sadness, he's devastated, but the resentment doesn't disappear magically like it happens in the drama. Babe shouts at Way's grave that he could never love someone like him and that he'll hate him for the rest of his life, but asks him to be a good friend in the next life. That's it.
Cutting out this element flattens out Babe's character, not gonna lie. There are also other things that contribute to ruining Babe's inner depth, but this time I solely want to focus on Way. In my opinion he doesn't deserve to be so pitied by everyone.
