Aaaah Francis I just can't stop thinking about the way Sean turned back to look at White and their eye contact in general, help meeeheeeee
That one was just fantastic. Sean looking back, staring at Black, wondering what's going, unsure of everything but still drawn to what he knows he shouldn't be drawn to at all.
White is like a magnet to Sean. He's true north. He's the only direction that Sean needs to look and he's the only one who can hold that gaze without flinching.
And Sean is the same for White. He's the only direction he can look, he's the focus of his whole being, he's everything he needs. White sees him and see the bravery he lost when he lost Black. He sees the other half of himself that he lost when he had to be alone for so long.
The problem is that neither of them can speak those feelings.
Sean thinks he's Black. And there's no way Sean is trusting Black that much, he can't and he wouldn't.
White knows he's lying to them. He knows he's lying. He knows he can't be honest and he can't even let himself think about this but he can't stop, he can't help himself.
They're drawn together, magnets, flames and moths, opposites, fear and bravery, cages and freedom. pulled together but neither one able to act on their instincts.
Whenever they make eye contact, they spark but they're both in denial for their own reasons. So they make eye contact and their whole bodies feel it and their hearts ache with it.
I appreciate how the difference in economic class in F4 Thailand is shown so far in episode 4 in the comparison of food cost. That 500 Baht family meal for 4 compared with the 4000 Baht bite-sized canape, and Thyme/Kaning's reactions to the food they had.
