GROOKEY MK!

i was worried that Grookey wouldn’t fit MK well, but @shadowfloofster is awesome and said “what if shiny >:)”

i changed the stick to be the staff, and i changed the colouration to be more yellow than yellow-green :D

(technically an edit of regular grookey art from pokemon, but i’ll make something soon!)

i wanna do a thing

i had this idea since the beginning of this morning, and i want to expand on it more

lego monkie kid, but it’s pokemon mystery dungeon

the farthest i got with this idea was making red son a charmeleon or something, and maybe making mei a cool looking dragonair

obviously wukong would be infernape, and macaque would be a dark or ghost-type variant of infernape that i’ve had in the works for almost 2 years now XD

but mk is stumping me lmao

i was thinking of making him a chimchar, but i feel like that’s too obvious, then i thought grookey and felt like that was too far off the mark and won’t fit him at all

pls give me your ideas for mk and the other characters not mentioned my brain isn’t braining 😭😭😭

and here’s some sketches i did of dragonair!mei messing with charmeleon!red son

when it came to mei’s design, i really went all in with the ‘dragon’ part of her character, and i took aspects of her actual dragon form in the series and put it in her design

as for red son, i obviously had to give him his glasses, but i also made his tail flame bigger than a normal charmeleon because of his stronger fire powers, i feel like i should add something else, but i don’t know what (aside from maybe giving him his jacket back)
