Portugal Residence By Investment
Invest, Apply, Reside: Exploring the Mechanics of the Portugal Golden Visa
The Portugal Golden Visa program has become an increasingly popular avenue for investors seeking residency in Europe; this program provides a pathway to residency through various qualifying investments offering a blend of investment opportunities and lifestyle benefits.
This comprehensive guide will delve into the step-by-step process of obtaining the Portugal Golden Visa, from making the initial investment to finally residing in this captivating European country.
Step 1: Choose Your Investment Route
The first step in obtaining a Portugal Golden Visa is to decide on your preferred investment route. Investors have several options for Portugal residence by investment in an equity fund, or other qualifying investment options.
Each route has its own requirements and benefits, so it's essential to weigh your options carefully before proceeding.
Step 2: Meet the Investment Criteria
Once you've chosen your investment route, it's time to ensure that you meet the investment criteria set forth by the Portuguese authorities.
For example, if you opt for Cultural and Artistic Donations investment, you'll need to invest a minimum amount specified by the Portuguese authorities to support cultural and artistic initiatives in the country.
In addition to meeting the minimum investment threshold, applicants must ensure that their investment is directed towards approved cultural and artistic projects recognized by the relevant Portuguese authorities.
It may include supporting museums, theatres, art exhibitions, or other cultural endeavours that contribute to the enrichment and preservation of Portugal's cultural heritage.
Step 3: Make the Investment
After confirming that you meet the investment criteria, the next step is to make the investment.
Whether investing in equity funds, or other qualifying options, it's crucial to follow the prescribed process for transferring funds and completing the investment transaction.
It typically involves working with authorized agents, or investment advisors who specialize in the Portugal Golden Visa program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation.
Step 4: Gather Required Documentation
With the investment made, it's time to gather the necessary documentation for your Portugal visa golden.
It typically includes proof of investment, a clean criminal record certificate from your home country, valid passports for you and your family members, and other supporting documents required by the Portuguese authorities.
dailymotion
Step 5: Submit Your Golden Visa Application
Once you have all the required documentation, you can submit your Golden Visa application to the Portuguese authorities.
Along with your application form and supporting documents, you'll need to pay the relevant application fees.
The processing time for Golden Visa applications is typically around 18 months, so be prepared for some waiting time.
Step 6: Await Approval
After submitting your application, all left to do is wait for approval. The Portuguese authorities will review your application and decide based on your eligibility and the completeness of your documentation.
While waiting for approval, it's essential to stay updated on the status of your application and address any requests for additional information promptly.
Step 7: Receive Your Residency Permit
Once your Golden Visa application is approved, you'll receive your residency permit, granting you and your family the right to live, work, and study in Portugal.
This permit is typically valid for one year and can be renewed annually till you maintain your investment and meet the program's requirements.
Step 8: Enjoy Your Residency in Portugal
With your residency permit in hand, you're free to enjoy all Portugal offers to offer.
From its stunning beaches and rich cultural heritage to its vibrant cities and thriving economy, Portugal is a country that truly has something for everyone.
Whether you're looking to start a new business, further your education, or enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, Portugal offers endless opportunities for Golden Visa holders.

Conclusion
The Portugal Golden Visa program provides investors with a straightforward pathway to residency in one of Europe's most desirable destinations.
By following the step-by-step guide outlined above, you can understand the application process with confidence and start enjoying the benefits of residency in Portugal sooner than you think.

Friction in discovering Monti Prenestini
Our branding lab will be in support of re-generating a few villages in Lazio, Italy that have struggled with decades of depopulation, disinvestment, degrading infrastructure, and mounting environmental stresses. The region, Monti Prenestini, is undergoing a re-branding this summer by a team of (Italian) MIT architects and designers: we hope to help them think creatively about an experience or offering that the mayors of Monti Prenestini might implement to attract a very specific target “customer” or visitor: the remote-working, “young” family (likely American or European) interested in a long-term residence in Italy.
Right now, as (let’s pretend) a remote-working non-EU family of 4 with sights set on Italy, the journey of “wayfinding” around what Monti Prenestini offers and how the region serves their needs is full of friction. The “customer journey” for this segment of visitor today involves:
Becoming aware of the region as the perfect destination for the experience they’re seeking. Painpoints today: it’s very poorly advertised (missing from any “top 20 places to visit in Italy!” lists and overshadowed by “nomad-friendly” hubs recently established in Calabria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sardinia, Puglia, Santa Fiora in Tuscany, and Rieti in Lazio
Moving to Monti Prenestini. Painpoints today may include accessibility from Rome, navigating the non-EU visa (self-employment visa, intra-company visa, the EU Blue Card, or latest “digital nomad visa” launched in March 2022 modeled after similar schemes in Germany, Malta, Croatia, Portugal, Estonia, Norway), and finding a place to live (Airbnb options are sparse)
Establishing a life there. Painpoints today including knowing about and accessing the cultural sites (there are a small handful on Trip Advisor, but no other online resource), outdoor activities, childcare, schooling, remote office spaces, culinary offerings, language school, healthcare options, etc.
The paradox here is: our initial research shows that the region’s offerings are abundant and so well suited to this customer’s needs! The MIT team of architects on the ground shared that Monti Prenestini offers exceptional rock climbing most of the year (very unique in Italy), ethical farming practices and farm to table dining, a new bilingual school, a coworking hub, and horseback riding/cycling, /hiking trails that MIT recently mapped out but haven't published publicly:
Tumblr media
There’s a clear opportunity for alleviating the “bad” friction in the customer journey today and introducing a new type of visitor that can help revitalize this rural region. Our next step will be to get clearer on these touchpoints within each part of a visitor’s journey via interviews with (current and aspiring) non-EU remote-working residents of Italy, their respective pain points, and pinpoint some opportunities for experimentation by the region.

Global coronavirus cases are surging, driven by India and South America (NYT) The number of new daily cases has exceeded 800,000 for more than a week. The spike is largely driven by the outbreak in India, which now accounts for more than 40 percent of the world’s new cases. The U.S. plans to halt travel for non-U.S. citizens from India starting Tuesday. Vaccines in India are running short, hospitals are swamped and cremation grounds are burning thousands of bodies every day. Health experts and political analysts say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s overconfidence and domineering leadership style bear a huge share of the responsibility for the crisis. Meanwhile, Indians living abroad are frantically seeking to help sick relatives. Much of South America is also faring poorly. Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Colombia all rank among the 20 nations with the highest number of Covid deaths per capita.
Elderly statesman? (NYT) Arnold Schwarzenegger left the California governor’s mansion 10 years ago. He is a more popular political figure today than when he was elected. Over the past year, the former Republican governor, now 73, has been in demand, embracing an unlikely role that he describes as “elderly statesman.” He’s made public service announcements on hand washing, raised millions of dollars for protective health gear and is now being sought out for guidance on the Republican-led effort to oust Gov. Gavin Newsom, the same mechanism that led to Schwarzenegger’s election in 2003. “When you leave office, you realize—well, I realized—that I just couldn’t cut it off like that,” he said in a three-hour interview.
Looming showdown as Michigan governor orders Canadian pipeline shut down (Washington Post) For Michigan’s governor, the 645-mile pipeline jeopardizes the Great Lakes. For Canada’s natural resources minister, its continued operation is “nonnegotiable.” The clash over Calgary-based Enbridge’s Line 5, which carries up to 540,000 barrels of crude oil and natural gas liquids across Michigan and under the Great Lakes each day, is placing stress on U.S.-Canada ties. In a move applauded by environmentalists and Indigenous groups on both sides of the border, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) in November ordered the firm to shut down the nearly 70-year-old lines by May 12. Canadian officials, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, have appealed to their American counterparts, including President Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm for help. Joe Comartin, Canada’s consul general in Detroit, said a shutdown would have “significant” impacts on both sides of the border. He predicted effects ranging from months-long propane shortages to higher costs for consumers to fuels being carried by rail, truck or boat—methods that he said are less emissions-friendly and more dangerous than a pipeline. One “irritant,” he said, is “the claim from the state that they are doing this to protect the Great Lakes, that they’re more interested in protecting the Great Lakes than we in Canada are. Basically, we reject that completely.”
NYC Eyes Reopening (Bloomberg) New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said yesterday the city would aim to fully reopen July 1, lifting restrictions on restaurants, gyms, and all other businesses. A return to normal would mark a symbolic moment for both New Yorkers and the country—America's most populous city was a global epicenter early in the pandemic, registering an average of 800 deaths per day last April. The city is averaging roughly 1,700 new cases per day, down 70% since January, reporting about 30 deaths per day.
Kissinger warns of ‘colossal’ dangers in US-China tensions (AFP) Acclaimed diplomat Henry Kissinger said Friday that US-China tensions threaten to engulf the entire world and could lead to an Armageddon-like clash between the two military and technology giants. The 97-year-old former US secretary of state, who as an advisor to president Richard Nixon crafted the 1971 unfreezing of relations between Washington and Beijing, said the mix of economic, military and technological strengths of the two superpowers carried more risks than the Cold War with the Soviet Union. Strains with China are “the biggest problem for America, the biggest problem for the world,” Kissinger told the McCain Institute’s Sedona Forum on global issues. “Because if we can’t solve that, then the risk is that all over the world a kind of cold war will develop between China and the United States.” While nuclear weapons were already large enough to damage the entire globe during the Cold War, he said advances in nuclear technology and artificial intelligence—where China and the United States are both leaders—have multiplied the doomsday threat. “For the first time in human history, humanity has the capacity to extinguish itself in a finite period of time,” Kissinger said.
Thousands march in Colombia in fourth day of protests against tax plan (Reuters) Thousands of Colombians took to the streets on Saturday for International Workers’ Day marches and protests against a government tax reform proposal, in a fourth day of demonstrations that have resulted in at least four deaths. Unions and other groups kicked off marches on Wednesday to demand the government of President Ivan Duque withdraw the reform proposal, which originally leveled sales tax on public services and some food. Cali, the country’s third-largest city, has seen the most vociferous marches, some looting and at least three deaths connected to the demonstrations.
Europe’s economy shrinks amid slow vaccine rollouts and lockdowns (Washington Post) With swaths of Europe still under lockdown restrictions and facing a stuttering vaccination rollout, the region’s economy slid into a double-dip recession in the first quarter of the year, in contrast to a rosy outlook in the United States. The European economy shrank by 0.6 percent in the first quarter of the year, according to data released Friday. The U.S. economy grew by 1.6 percent over the same period, amid massive federal stimulus spending and a speedy vaccination rollout. Export-dependent Germany, which had already been heading toward recession before the pandemic as manufacturing dropped off, saw its economy shrink by 1.7 percent, the most in Europe. The economies of Spain, Italy and Portugal also contracted. Much of Europe is battling a third wave of coronavirus infections. Germany has a nighttime curfew in place in 15 of its 16 states, and shopping requires booking appointments and getting a negative test.
Dozens of German police injured in May Day riots (AP) At least 93 police officers were injured and 354 protesters were detained after traditional May Day rallies in Berlin turned violent, Berlin’s top security official said Sunday. More than 20 different rallies took place in the German capital on Saturday and the vast majority of them were peaceful. However, a leftist march of 8,000 people through the city’s Neukoelln and Kreuzberg neighborhood, which has often seen clashes in past decades, turned violent. Protesters threw bottles and rocks at officers, and burned garbage containers and wooden pallets in the streets. There’s a nightly curfew in most parts of Germany currently because of the high number of coronavirus infections. But political protests and religious gatherings are exempt from the curfew.
Big Myanmar protests aim to ‘shake the world’; seven killed (Reuters) Myanmar security forces opened fire on some of the biggest protests against military rule in days, killing at least seven people on Sunday, media reported, three months after a coup plunged the country into crisis. The protests, after a spell of dwindling crowds and what appeared to be more restraint by the security forces, were coordinated with demonstrations in Myanmar communities around the world to mark what organisers called “the global Myanmar spring revolution”. Streams of demonstrators, some led by Buddhist monks, made their way through cities and towns including the commercial hub of Yangon. The protests are only one of the problems the generals have brought on with their Feb. 1 ouster of the elected government. Wars with ethnic minority insurgents in remote frontier regions in the north and east have intensified significantly over the past three months, displacing tens of thousands of civilians, according to U.N. estimates. In some places, civilians with crude weapons have battled security forces while in central areas military and government facilities that have been secure for generations have been hit by rocket attacks and a wave of small, unexplained blasts.
Vaccinated faithful throng Jerusalem church for Holy Fire (AP) Hundreds of Christian worshippers made use of Israel’s easing of coronavirus restrictions Saturday, packing a Jerusalem church revered as the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection for an ancient fire ceremony a day before Orthodox Easter. The faithful gathered at The Church of the Holy Sepulchre, waiting for clergymen to emerge with the Holy Fire from the Edicule, a chamber built on the site where Christians believe Jesus was buried and rose from the dead after being crucified. As bells rang and the top clerics from different Orthodox denominations appeared, the worshippers scrambled to light their candles and pass the fire on. Within a minute, the imposing walls of the old church glowed.
Israel asks whether autonomy of the ultra-Orthodox contributed to the deadly stampede (Washington Post) Israel’s ultra-Orthodox residents exist in a world within the world, citizens of Israel but pledging their allegiance, attention and obedience instead to their rabbis and God. In isolated enclaves, they are exempt from the military draft, outside the national school system and—in apartments usually without Internet or television—largely oblivious to the surrounding culture. Now, this shocked country is asking whether that self-segregation—and the secular politicians who have enabled it for decades—is responsible for the worst civilian catastrophe in Israel’s history, the trampling death of 45 ultra-Orthodox men and boys at a massively overcrowded religious festival in the early hours of the morning Friday. The ultra-Orthodox, or Haredim as they are known in Israel, follow some of the most conservative tenets in Judaism and have a lifestyle based on the Jewish culture that evolved hundreds of years ago in the communities of Eastern Europe. Since Israel’s founding, state leaders have sought preserve this culture after much of it was devastated during World War II.      When more than 100,000 members of the Haredim convened for a boisterous annual festival at an ancient rabbi’s tomb on Mount Meron, they overflowed a narrow, sloped compound known to both government and religious leaders as a potentially dangerous setting. Sunday, as the final victims were being buried and flags around the country flew at half-mast in a national day of mourning, multiple investigations were getting underway that will target police planning, local regulators, site managers and national ministries with responsibility for oversight. Already, journalists and whistleblowers have unearthed a shocking paper trail of warnings ignored, recommendations overruled and absent supervision. Officials have been called to account for meetings in recent weeks in which specific recommendations from health and safety authorities were overruled at the behest of Haredi groups.

Migration to Portugal - How Migration to Portugal Residency Programs Work
Migration from Gulf and Asian Countries into Portugal has been in the past few years without any prior historical relationship between the two nations.
The fact that it took so long for the people to take this decision is an indication of how complicated the issue is. At first, it was very sudden, shocking, created a sensation and drew much attention from the international media, policy makers, academia and the public. Today, though, this process is gaining momentum with more people migrating to the country.
For those looking to relocate to Portugal, a migration to Portugal Residency Program can help. This program has helped Gulf and Asian Country Nationals to get permanent residency status in Portugal. They can also benefit from a number of government programs designed to help them settle in Portugal and stay longer in this country. The process of immigrating to this country is relatively easy and takes only one or two months for the application to be approved. Even though the process is relatively simple, there are certain qualifications that have to be met.
If you are interested in this kind of professional assistance, contact Arabian Horizon office based in Dubai, UAE for Migration and you will be given an opportunity to meet professional advisor. The Arabian Horizon office can offer you all the information you need about this program so that you will be able to decide if you want to go through with it or not. The most important thing is to be patient with your own personal decision about whether or not you would like to move to Portugal or not.

✧ ━━ the courts of switzerland present ANTÓNIO DE BRAGANÇA of PORTUGAL, the GOVERNOR-GERAL of BRAZIL. the TWENTY EIGHT year old has been BUOYANT and ALTRUISTIC before the break of war but have now become TACTLESS and QUIXOTIC. HE is often remembered by their likeness to KEIYNAN LONSDALE and THE SOUND OF A FLYING ARROW PIERCING THROUGH BIRD'S FEATHERS ; WRINKLED PAGES IN A EXTENSIVELY READ BOOK ; CLICKING FIREPLACE AMIDST THE SOUND OF BED LINEN IN CONTACT WITH SKIN. the rumour mills of europe claim that his allegiance lies with PORTUGAL / BRAZIL and that he is for PEACE.
headcanons ;
Unlike his older brother and Principe Herdeiro, António was not groomed to be a King. Nonetheless, with the birth of various colonies and the creation of numerous titles in regards to them, António soon found himself in a position he'd never craved - of leadership. The title of Governador Geral do Brasil weighed on him, overwhelming an unprepared young man with responsibilities he hadn't foreseen for his near future. However, the guttural feeling of having to appease to his father's wishes took António to and unforeseen yet life-changing adventure across the Atlantic Ocean. In Portugal, he had been so well hidden in the shadows of both his father and his older brother that he had never been able to grow his own political power, which is why the results in the first results in the colony were far less than ideal in King João's plan. Having to learn the ropes of leadership and politicality has been António's biggest challenge so far as Governador Geral, and despite his father's best efforts to suit him with appropriate advisors, António remains disinterested in his role, in spite of his undying desire to please his father.
António has memories from early on in his life of his father's braveness, decisiveness and entrepreneurism. King João had set out to make a name, not only for himself, but for his family, he had a desire to be known for something that would far outlive him. And António, a second born son with no pretenses to the throne, knew from a young age he had to find a way to make himself a part of his father's plan, only to also be remembered for something in generations to come. Against his various attempts to make himself suitable for positions of power as he grew up, António was never quite capable for that. Instead, he often found himself drawn to the arts, the academia, the physicality, the sea - all things his father believed distractions on his path to being a respectful part of the Portuguese nobility. In quiet defiance of his father's wishes for his life, António never stopped spending time doing things he truly loved, and thanks to his mother's secretive support, he always had the best tutors for all his interests. Archery, riding, hunting, reading, writing, painting, sailing - all things he truly loves, but clash with the interest of his country.
Always eager to please others, at a very young age António found ways to do so while still pleasing himself. Talks of his physical encounters with a diverse array of different peoples - nobles and not - roamed the hallways of the palace, and with not so great effort to hide his endeavours, António grew a reputation within Paço da Ribeira's walls - one of lewd nature. A multitude of women and men alike took overnight residences in his chambers for many years, until the day he took to the sea, headed to the colony. Despite his first assumption that being in the New World was the end of his various hobbies, António soon found that a leadership position, along with the distance from his father's rule, enabled his ways more than hindered it. In his new so-called home, the young prince, now turned Governador Geral, found the liberty to enjoy himself, it being sexually or intellectually, in ways he'd never been allowed in Europe.
Presently, taken aback by the emergence of war, António hopes his new-found confidence and pride earns him his father's trust, something he's yearned for his entire life, while still making sure he stays true to the person he discovered himself to be in the colony. The cease-fire, António wishes, will lead the way to the end of the war and the resolvement of every issue regarding Portugal, as soon possible, so that he was resume his duties in Brazil - whatever he means by duties in unclear, as he still has low interest in being a leading part of the crown in the colony.
plot points ;
past and current lovers - António has had plenty of those throughout his lifetime. Men and women of various social classes have laid in his bed with him on multiple occasions, and António has no intention of diminishing the frequency of visits to his chamber, now in Castelgrande. Having been involved with multiple people from within the nobility, Portuguese or otherwise, it would be no surprise for António to encounter familiar faces roaming Swiss territory in this time of trouble. On the other hand, it would be expected of the charming young prince to acquire new lovers in this time of concern and loneliness, be it with people his father would consider allies or otherwise. Despite his father's possible plans to find António a suitable and useful pair in someone, he believes he'll never wish to leave his whimsical ways.
king joão - His father has always been a man with a goal - to put the Bragança dynasty on the map. In some ways, António believed that, to his father, the importance of his familial success was larger than the interest of the country. As a child, António was partially allowed to pursue his own leisure, although he was still expected to be a put-together member of the Portuguese nobility at all times. However, as he grew to understand his surroundings better, António put on the shoes of how crucial it was to appease to his father's wishes, at least as far as King João could see. Avoiding his father's discontent, António found himself in a double-persona situation, creating a obedient and practical appearance of a loyal son to his father's face, but remaining a lively and creative young man to himself.

Tumblr media
⇢ The arrival to the French court for the Duke of Skåne to accompany the Dowager Queen as her advisor only occurred around a year ago, but it felt as if it were a century to Matthias. Replacing the figurehead who was acting in his name as he matured to a fitting age, an older man with traditional ideals that did not support the Dowager Queen in any way, Matthias managed to prove himself to be the complete opposite of this old nobleman. The man did not seek to advance with Sweden, rather he sought to maintain old ideals and an isolated reputation: the disagreement that came from Matthias caused him to win the favor and kindness of Barbara.
With the new connections Matthias conjured as he introduced himself to new countries and ideas, he only ever used the information he gathered to aid the Queen --- the young Duke of Skåne’s pride did not cause him to want to take the crown from her head, or from the inheritance of the late King’s children. Wishing to discuss her status and relations with other royals and nobles, Matthias traveled to her chambers as the day’s end crept on Lisbon, preparing his thoughts in the short time it took to reach the rooms. While they would speak of public affairs, Barbara managed to become an extremely close figure to him, so perhaps he also was seeking just her company. It was almost impossible for him to remain stealthy as he did so, though; the walking cane made a loud sound each time it made contact with the hard floors of the temporary residence. Fortunately, however, this was not a meeting that held the need to be hidden: an advisor must always address the individual they work for.
Since the guards which stood at her door were already very familiar with the man, they let him pass through, the old doors which allowed entry to her chambers creaking as he pushed them open. “ Your Highness, ” The tone of his voice was relaxed and his volume was soft, clearly indicating he felt comfortable with her. “ I believe we should discuss your standing. There is much we are able to achieve with the rest of this trip. ”

House of Valois & of Habsburg: Mary, The Duchess of Burgundy
Mary was born as the only child of Charles the Bold, The Duke of Burgundy, and his second wife Isabella of Bourbon. Although celebrated lavishly, neither her grandfather nor her father took part in her christening. Her godparents were her paternal grandmother Infanta Isabella of Portugal and King Louis XI. of France, at the time still The Dauphin of France.
For the first six years of her life, she lived with her parents. But when her father became The Governor of Holland, he moved with his wife but without his daughter there. Mary was sent to Ghent to prevent further riots of the citizens there. She was raised bilingual in French and Flemish but always prevered French. Mary received a formal education befitting that of a princess but was never prepared to rule as her parents still hoped for a male heir. This hope ended when Isabella of Bourbon died in 1465. The marriage of Charles and Margaret of York, which happened in 1468, resulted in no further children, keeping Mary as the sole heir.
Margaret, who was only eleven years older than Mary, became one of young woman’s most trusted advisors and friends. Their relationship was described as sisterly. Margaret also taught her stepdaughter the English language.
In 1467, Mary’s grandfather died and her father became The Duke of Burgundy. The 10-year-old Mary was his only living child and became his heir presumptive. Because of that and the wealth the House of Burgundy controlled, she was an interesting marriage candidate. Already five years prior a marriage between the future king of Aragon, Ferdinand II, and her was proposed. Charles, The Duke of Berry - the younger brother of Mary’s godfather King Louis XI of France - approached her as well as Nicholas, The Duke of Lorraine, who was killed in battle in 1473.
The question of a husband would reappear when Mary succeeded her father at the age of only twenty. Her godfather seized the opportunity of a defenseless Mary and invaded great parts of her country. Louis XI presented himself as a patron saint for Mary and demanded of her to marry his only seven-year-old son and heir Charles. Mary also felt pressure from within her country. Only a month after her accession, she had to grant the Great Privilege to her citizens. It included that she had no right to declare war, make peace, or raise taxes without the consent of the provinces and towns and only to employ native residents in official posts.
Mary’s only chance for regaining control was to marry and she did. Archduke Maximilian of Austria, The Holy Roman Emperor’s only son and heir. With their marriage on August 19th, 1477, he became the co-ruler of Burgundy. The couple had three children of whom the two oldest survived into adulthood: Philip the Handsome and Archduchess Margaret of Austria. Philip would later become the first Habsburg king of Castile through his marriage to Queen Joanna “the Mad” of Castile. He was the founder of the Spanish branch of the House of Habsburg. Margaret would marry twice, first becoming The Princess of Asturias and second The Countess of Savoy. Later, she was made the governess of the Habsburg Netherlands by her father after her brother’s death.
Mary of Burgundy died on March 7th, 1482, at the age of only 25 due to injuries she suffered after falling from her horse during a falcon hunt. With her death, her inheritance went to the House of Habsburg through her son Philip. This would lead to a brewing conflict between France and Spain in the following 200 years. If she had not died young, she would have gone on to become Holy Roman Empress through her husband Maximilian I.

Their first stop was the Jeronimos Monastery, where, accompanied by the prior of Santa María de Belém, deposited a floral offering in the tomb of the poet Luiz Vaz de Camôes and made a brief visit inside the Church and the Monastery Cloister, accompanied by the director of the Monastery, Isabel Cruz de Almeida.
Tumblr media
Later on they headed to the Belém Palace, where they were officially received by the President of Portugal, Aníbal Cavaco Silva and his wife. After the interpretation of the respective national anthems, President Cavaco Silva and Prince Felipe reviewed the troops.

Felipe discovered a plaque commemorating the visit. Back in Lisbon, Felipe and Letizia held, in the residence of the Ambassador of Spain, a meeting with sixty Portuguese personalities from the social, cultural and business fields.

The oppositions could not doubt whether the Clean Air Act authorizes EPA to limit carbon dioxide pollution from nuclear power plant. The emphasis of his book is the result power carries those who do not have it. He breaks his analysis down into 3 measurements of power: the initial is straight negotiating and also engagement, the second is the exclusion of the helpless from that bargaining process and/or agenda-setting by the effective, and also the third is the internalization of the ideals, worths, and also choices of the dominant by the controlled. People waste a lot of money on unneeded cardio equipment, multi gyms as well as overpriced specialist products that quite frankly aren't specifically helpful in an industrial gym, let alone a house training area. Going to imp source was as essential to a Roman as mosting likely to the gym was to a Greek.

Inclusive, o próprio lema do coletivo constata isso: “mina aims to bring together ravers and DJs in a techno underground clubbing scene for sexual and gender liberationmina is hedonistic and non-reproductivemina is techno-quantum beatsmina is suspensionmina is sex positivemina is a rave” Este é então um espaço que na sua base promove a aceitação interpessoal nas vidas noturnas e fora delas, aliando às mesmas sonoridades rítmicas de techno e eletrónica mais experimental.
No próximo post a temática será semelhante, no entanto 300km a norte - Porto.

China Visa
Sometimes there are issues and functions can take longer to process. The time can even range relying on the effectivity of each particular person embassy or consulate. There are numerous several sorts of Japan visas available to Chinese vacationers. Here are the commonest types including short-term keep visas and long-term visas.
