Game: Path to Nowhere

Character: Deren x Fem!reader

You were seated on your computer desk at home, editing some videos for a short film project you had taken up. Ever since leaving Director Deren's crew, you had struggled to find more projects due to the rise in Mania activity around DisCity and also your limited experience.

You sighed and rested back on your chair, stretching your arms up when your phone rang from an unknown number. You squinted your eyes and waited a few seconds before you finally picked it up and answered with a 'hello' only to be immediately surprised by the voice on the other end.

"Hey, it's been a long time, Y/n."

You couldn't believe your ears; it was none other than Director Deren.

"D-Director? Is that you?"

"Mhm, it's me. How have you been? Are you still into film making?"

"I'm fine and yes, I'm still doing it. Don't tell me, are you....?"

"That's right, I'm going to make a new film, and I need your help just like old times."

Your eyes lit up in excitement, "Really?! I'll do it! Where do I come—?!"

"Haha, you haven't changed a bit. I'll text you the location and time, bring your gear."

"Okay, I'll be ready!"

Keeping your phone down, you giggled to yourself and felt your face heat up at the thought of meeting Director Deren again after such a long time and work with her as well. You did have a crush on her, after all. Who wouldn't really? She was simply charming. Three days later, you reached the location at 11 am as Deren conveyed and immediately found her standing nearby.

"Yo, good to see you, Y/n." Deren greeted and you walked closer to her, greeting her as well and initiating a small talk, asking about each other's well-being.

"Haha, Y/n, don't be so formal with me and just call me Deren. We are old friends, after all."

"Alright....Deren. I was actually wondering about something."

"What is it?"

You looked around to see the other crew members who were busy setting up then looked back at Deren, "I don't see anyone else from our old crew. Did you...not call them?"

Deren gave a small smile then tapped the folded script against her arm, "No, I made an entirely new crew. You are the only old face here."

You almost blushed at that statement, why did she only call you? It's not like you were extraordinary in your field, you were in fact a beginner when you had joined her and hadn't gained much experience since then.

"Why me then...?"

Deren smirked and walked closer to you, leaning near you ear to whisper, "....Because I missed you~"

You totally blushed now and Director Deren noticed all too well because of how close she was, she then leaned even closer and you could feel her breath on your ear now.

"Let's meet up later after the shoot, my treat~"

You nodded with a flushed face and she chuckled then walked away to begin filming. The whole time, you could feel yourself being extremely self-conscious around her and weren't sure how to act. After several hours, the shooting was finally adjourned and you were made to accompany Deren to her home.

What followed was something you could have never predicted; you were picked up and pinned against the wall by her as she placed kisses on your neck and chest before moving up to passionately kiss your lips. You didn't deny her at all, it seems both of your feelings were overflowing at this moment.

Her hand slid down to grab your thighs and carry you to her bedroom as she continued with the kiss, eventually laying you down and working to remove your clothes. She confessed her true feelings, that she had liked you for a long time as well and wanted you like this since then. She had the power to make your dreams reality now, quite literally.
