Oh crap I never posted updated Hornet

Here is the new design I made about a week ago!

Taller stature, more roots, another pair of eyes, all inspired from the two who gave their ingenious design interpretations of spiderroot Hornet!! Thank you both @mokkoarte and @bluwails for your lovely arts :-) You can check out their versions by. scrolling around on my/their blog(s). They shouldn’t be too far down I don’t post much

I’m still not entirely sure I want Hornet in the AU or not (I’ll probably end up going with it though) but here is what she’d look like

I was a little bummed after realizing that since PK kinda... You know.... Died... that Hornet wouldn’t exist since he couldn’t be her father

BUT I’m thinking that WL would almost immediately dive into PK’s plan, having no other ideas and very much panicking at what to do

She’d eventually recruit monomon and lurien as normal, but Herrah still needs an heir (and this is where the higher being disney magic comes in)

Root being the Ever So Fertile Goddess She Is would’ve probably been able to help with that endeavor (this is a safe for work blog), And Voila!! Our beloved spider princess is now half plant, not half wyrm

Think of this as sort of the ‘prototype design’ of spiderroot hornet until:

A. I come up with a better design

B. Someone comes up with a better design and I adopt it, or

C. This design never changes and ends up staying the way it is

im pretty sure i sent this ask to the wrong person initially, but if not just ignore the duplicate lmao. anyway for the queen’s vessel au, would hornet still be called hornet? presumably in canon she was named by vespa, but is that still going to be a thing? it sounds like the white lady might have a bigger hand in raising her anyway :o

Ya I think so! PK had no part in naming Hornet so I don't think WL will have any part in it either

WL definitely plays a bigger role in Hornet's life now, for sure. i think she might be a little more reserved or shy than regular Hornet, but other than that i dont know yet if anything's changed
