              She hadn’t thought the injury was that bad, honestly; she didn’t want to bother Korra with it if it wasn’t a big deal. But it was hours later now and she was starting to feel dizzy, so she silently coaxed Korra to come towards her as she sat down in a chair near the kitchen table. She winced as she slowly undid her jacket, moving painfully slowly, before she exposed her stomach and showed the massive bruise she had gotten from the machine earlier. “I think --” She paused, sucking in a breath. “It hurts more than I expected.”

Drinks all of the coffee: Korra. Which is fine Asami is honestly not a coffee drinker unless she’s exhausted. 

Brings up adopting a pet: Well Korra already has Naga, and honestly that’s enough pet for the either of them. 

Kills the bugs: Korra would, but Asami insists on a capture and release method instead. 

Cooks the meals: Asami. 

Starts getting into holidays way before they should: Korra. She just gets too excited for them and can’t help it. Asami doesn’t care one way or the other, but she cares about Korra so she’ll help her string up decorations and start watching Holiday movers way before it’s time for the holiday. 

Initiates the couple selfies: Both. Korra is more likely to though. 

Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries: Neither. They’re circled on calendars and planned celebrations. It’d be impossible to forget them unless the world is ending (again) in which case well, some leeway is fine. 

Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: Korra. But she at least also brings home whatever was on Asami’s list. 

Nicknames the other: Korra. Asami tries but she’s really not good at it outside the typical “darlings” or “sweeties”

IT’D BE EASIER if Kuvira kicked Korra in the shins, but ever since she’d be released from prison and had been learning to play nice, she refrained herself. She glared instead in hopes that’ll be sufficient enough to peg Korra’s ego down. “Speak to me like a NORMAL HUMAN BEING rather than a child, you’re making me feel...almost lesser.” Arms crossed with her head turned the other way.

      “𝓘 don’t think this weather is going to let up any time soon...” Opal commented as she looked out from the cave that they had found themselves in. At least as a temporary shelter, it was still better than being out in the cold. With Juicy able to fit in the cave as well, they had a bit more warmth along with the campfire that was slowly heating up the interior.  “We might be here for an hour or two.” Opal crossed her arms over her chest as she turned her attention back to Korra. “We should have checked the weather before we left... Now we’re stuck.” An exhale of a sigh left her lips. “Oh well, nothing we can do about it.”

All right, that was new. Normally, she was the one who had to lean down, not Korra. Though, Asami couldn’t say she minded this new development. Never one to refuse her girlfriend’s affection, she leaned into the kiss before looking up.

She wasn’t dreaming. Korra really was at least a foot taller than her now---probably more.

                  Asami quirked an eyebrow,  resisting the urge to chuckle at the sight in front of her, she wasn’t sure if that would be received the right way. She found it sort of adorable, actually, how the fit-looking other woman thought to bring in her bike for an issue that was clearly minimal. Asami suspected ( or maybe hoped ) that she just wanted to see her, but she buried that under the scope of professionalism. Still, she couldn’t resist a smirk.

                  “I don’t think it’s a big deal,” she started, rounding on the bike and attempting to wipe the grease off her hands as she did so. The towel was draped over her shoulder as she leaned in. “The carburetor hose should still be good from last time. Maybe you need a new chain. Mind if I take a closer look?” She looked right at Korra as she asked that, stepping a little closer, her smirk growing. “If I didn’t know any better I’d say you just wanted to come back.”

She drawled out, tilting her head up with a smirk when a pair of GREENERY MEETS AN OCEAN.
