How many times must the Autobot put himself in this predicament before he learned from his mistakes? Not that Vortex was complaining. Tormenting Bumblebee became such a regular thing and capturing them was a little extra treat for himself.

Except this time something felt different. 

“Maybe I just wanted some company and decided to pick you.” The Combaticon responded while stepping over to them. His rotors giving a curious flick. “Why? You got somewhere important to be? Hate for you to leave so soon.” Not like they could anyway when one of their legs is shackled to the floor, but they are welcome to try.

They were sneaking around her Uncle Hank’s scrapyard, needing to find parts to help fix up Bumblebee. Charlie was more than willing to go by herself but for some reason the small yellow bot just had to come with her.

With her box on the floor as the teenager started to climb onto the scrap heap of junk, she was whispering fiercely to Bee about being in stealth mode.

“Just be quiet, and we won’t get caught…ACHOO!!” 

And Charlie stumbled as the force of her sneeze caused her to lose her balance briefly.

“Ugh... dust..” Wrinkling her nose, she glance over at her friend looking a bit sheepishly after having just told the other how they needed to be quiet. “sorry.” she whispers.

    ( I blame Primus. He put me in a box again, to ‘calm me down,’ and look where it got me. I can’t get part of it off my pede. )

      He also got a several day nap out of all this, which was admittingly quite nice, but hell if he’s about to admit any of that.
