I'll have an update on Blades progress up on Wednesday, ive just been in a chaotic mind state lately due to family emergencies. Plus twice when ive sitten down to get some writing in it ended up with me starting the bare bones on 2 other WIPs 😒

i havent given up on Blades, no way its like my precious, its just im adding in 2 new paths in the prologue adding possibly 2k+ in the part involving where the Briar and Luca are introduced and seperating it where picking one of the 4 options directs if you hang out with only 1 or both of them 😉 plus writing a new character, well several.... DUDEBRO WEREWOLVES! So there's that 😹 plus they are all going to be varying levels/types of "bro" and they will be introduced either late ch.1 or early ch.2

Proooobably books, because they have the most meat for me to sink my teeth in, and also I like that I get at least one Voice™ delivered with the fandom. But TV shows/series are a close second. I guess in most cases I need a bit of canon to get into it.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

For RoL I’d really like to see more OT3 fics about Bev and Thomas actually having a metamour relationship (and explore it? Maybe?). Like they’re often just kind of … both dating Peter and have no relationship outside of that, and while I get why ppl got that vibe, I just don’t like it. And especially with the Grantlings … just let them talk to each other, damn it. Also it’s often in short-ish fics about Peter/Thomas, with Bev mentioned to the side, but Thomas is never off-page “with” Peter in Bev/Peter fics, and I’m guessing that’s a hangover from “don’t bash the canon LI”, but like. Just let my bi-poly ass live, lmao.

Physically disabled Characters actually being disabled and using accommodations and workarounds without it being … weird. No seriously, ya’ll, it’s getting embarrassing. Please google what an ergonomic keyboard is.

I love independent Atlantis fics, lol, SGA fandom, gimme. Also if someone has off-ao3 reccs, or any that are not tagged and that’s why I can’t find them … well, like I said. Gimme.

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

I don’t hate a lot of stuff … I guess I really flip my shit at the concept of Feeling-Each-Other’s-Pain Soulmates. Like I already don’t like Soulmates much, but that one’s just … squick squick squick.

X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.

I really like canon characters getting switched with parallel universe version of themselves/going to a parallel timeline/AU. You can have so much fun with that, and the Implications always change with every fandom. It’s just great.

OHHH also that old trope of four-way marriages? Good Shit. Why did we stop writing that. Also what was it called. TO FANLORE.
