Explosions instead of detailed flashbacks, but it's okay I guess?

The story opens with Redestro arguing with Giran. Impressively we see that the QLA has been keeping diligent tabs on the LoV which is why they're confident that the league has no nomus (kinda blaming Dabi for this one lol) and therefore they will lose to a city full of civilians/soldiers who have been diligently training their quirks for this purpose. There is no mention whether they know about Gigantomachia but if they've really been keeping tabs on them via satellite I'm not surprised if the QLA is ready for him.

It is so freaking hard to make sense of this pic but there are lots of interesting details in it. Like a Kurogiri-like guy at the upper right quadrant, Mr Compress being attacked by a mouth laser. Twice's impressive high kick, back-to-back with Dabi who is fighting a dude with a Dark-Shadow like quirk? Or is hat dark stuff different. I'm not sure if I can see Shigaraki here or if he's the guy underneath the laser being attacked by a scythe?

Now, this queen bee takes the stage again. She has the bearings of a legitimate boss-lady, with her own pet Jirou. Ah I love her design? Pretty lady, unpretty quirk, dominatrix type??? Mhmhm.

Apart from having an interesting twist to an explosion quirk, she confirms in her provocation attempts that she was a journalist and the one who covered Toga's story, when she first went missing. Whaddya know?

She sics a lot of people against Toga, two of them being rip-offs from Guardians of the Galaxy (I don't think the QLA is afraid of anything like copyright infringement at this point?! First the Gorillaz, and now Groot and Rocket? Even the title is Anne Rice, altho it's clever to use it I gotta admit).

It's really gruesome how Toga's quirk works? She has to ingest a victims blood to transform her body? I can't help but worry for her because how dangerous it is for her if her victim had a bloodborne disease? But, "Slurp Mask" is so cute, ugh she is a cute vampire that she is

Kizuki drops her age and birthday, and now fic writers etc can rest easy or feel sorry for themselves to know that Toga's a legit teenage girl 😅all I'm thinking is, ahhh if the Monoma-is-Toga's-sister conspiracy is considered, it's still possible because theyre at least a year apart and to be called "eldest daughter" implies that she has siblings!

so she finished middle school, never went into high school despite her love for the uniforms?

These panels made me sad. We see here that Toga seemed to be ordinary, with friends who can laugh with her. Her outfit makes her look like it's a private school she went to (similar to Shinsou's middle school uniforms if I remember correctly)

so things of note: she has friends with mutation quirks, which makes me wonder if she has anything to say about people being discriminated against for those types of quirks.

There's a classmate of hers WHO LOOKS LIKE DEKU who appears to be fighting for her, and it looks like the crack in her mask begins here! Could this be why she fell in-love with Deku on first sight too?

And another important thing: her parents weren't shown in this flashback? It looks like a single event so maybe that's why they aren't there but Im legit wondering about what her relationship with her parents is like

Ah, I love the contrast of Toga's face here. She's bloodied and beaten up but she isn't fazed at all. In the first she's breathtaking enough to be compared to a doll--i really love the confirmation that Toga's a beautiful girl objectively speaking... She is just so cute

In the second, it looks like she's having flashbacks of her own. She has a bloody cutter on one hand, a completely cracked happy mask in the other and a vampiric smile after that. So maybe the Deku-guy in her past is important for her turn as a villain.

Im legitimately wondering whether she chose the villain life, or if it chose her? Did she run away from home and had no choice after that event happen? Or is that event her first taste of bloodlust?

Please make the next chapter longer Shonen Jump we gotta know what happened to her please
