It takes some time to gain followers on tumblr so don’t give up. Here are some tips: 

be active | a lot of people don’t take advantage of the queue feature. You can set up fast queue in your settings and change how many times your blog posts per day through labs . (I queue mine every 15 minutes so even when I’m sleeping or busy, my blog is always posting something while I’m away) 

consistency | reblog photos and videos and quotes but try to stick to one theme. (I’ve noticed most tumblrs don’t like a lot of text posts in a row so be mindful of that) make your url + icon be some what adjacent to your theme so other similar blogs can find you easier 

don’t be shy | ask other similar blogs for blog rates and advice . Your blog is for you but keep an open mind of what others think too .  Once you gain about 10 - 12k followers, you’ll grow from there (you’ll notice a substantial amount of likes, anons, notes, etc)

If you want to stick to a luxe / glam / beauty blog, you’re probably going to be tempted to buy some of the outfits / shoes. If you’re wondering, some shops I suggest are meshki , jluxelabel , prettylittlething , houseofmuse , missguided , misspap , ohpolly , simmi, etc . I’ve heard the realreal is a great online retailer that sells authentic luxury items that were worn / used , but I have not purchased anything from there so I don’t feel confident enough to recommend it. Just an idea 💓
