I think one of the main flaws in camp camp fanworks that focuses on Harrison is misunderstanding his situation with his parents

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but from what we see in Parents’ Day, Harrison’s behaviour indicates that before his brother disappeared, his parents were relatively normal. He approaches them without worry or hesitation and when they respond with fear, he says “Oh, still doing that, huh?” I think this is a clear sign that growing up, Harrison had a regular family dynamic. The disappearance of his brother was probably more recent than most people portray it to be if Harrison still isn’t used to the change of his parents’ relationship with him

Of course, his parents probably weren’t perfect. According to Harrison himself in Quest To Sleepy Peak Peak, his mother told him he’d grow into his looks, which would imply that Harrison has been insecure about his appearance and instead of reassuring him his mother said he’d ’grow into it’. Not exactly the best response to a child worrying about their looks. That’s not to mention his emotional problems such as his over-the-top reaction to his magic being questioned in Mind Freakers

But with all that, the fanworks I’ve seen, Harrison’s home life is often portrayed as awful for his entire life, or at least since he presented any magical abilities. Sometimes it’s even near neglectful or downright abusive. It’s a bit of a shame because I think there’s something more tragic and interesting about Harrison growing up in a regular family and, all of a sudden, the whole dynamic of the household gets irreversibly changed because of something he did

So like. I hate how Kiss and Spell went about dealing with the fact that Ginger’s mother is supposed to be a cannibal witch

Which is to say it doesn’t deal with it at all and takes the pussy way out by making Hansel and Gretel little lying cunts. It sucks and I hate it

But the wording of Kiss and Spell is intriguing cause it basically says that Ginger’s mum is the Candy Witch and that the Hansel and Gretel from that story are the Hansel and Gretel. Not like the other parent characters who are from long lines of fairy tales

Which leads to what is could’ve been an interesting idea; Hansel And Gretel is a relatively new story. I think that it could’ve been something more built upon, the contrast between being a new story against the other fairytales that have been told for generations (or something idk I’m not good at wording my thoughts)

Unfortunately Kiss and Spell’s Hansel and Gretel story sucked so we didn’t get that

Some people are like “If GoldenBoth was true, why do BV and Cassidy need to communicate through the logbook”

Have they ever heard of a story telling device?

Way back, we saw Baby and the rest of the Funtimes arguing in the source codes for Scottgames and FNAFWorld, leading to them kicking Baby out of Ennard

But we know they weren’t literally talking to each other through the source code, it was just a way to show us a conversation that we wouldn’t be able to in game, because in no point during a FNAF game would it be natural for us to witness the conversation an animatronic was having in its own head between the entities controlling it

It’s the same with the logbook. At no point would it be natural for us the witness the conversation BV and Cassidy have in Golden Freddy, so instead it’s presented to us through the logbook. It wasn’t how it happened in canon, but it’s the way it’s presented to us

Also BV says he can’t see, so the logbook conversation isn’t literally happening because he’d need to be able to read Cassidy’s messages and alter the text in the book, which he would not be able to do if he can’t see

Also also I think Michael would’ve noticed the two spirits talking to each other through his logbook
