Back before he became a planeswalker

Thinking again about how Tarkir block had an ostracized, frequently-overly-loud man with deep and obsessive knowledge of a long-extinct group of giant lizards, and then introduced Narset as the First Autistic Magic Character

This was originally going to be another bloomburrow lineup. But. I couldn’t think of any other planeswalkers, so here’s a sarkhan.

Where are they now?
No seriously where? We haven't seen any of these planeswalkers since War of the Spark or earlier. We have no confirmation of their current status. What are they up to? Will any of them show up in March of the Machines or Aftermath?
I'm leaving out planeswalkers who:
haven't shown up in a canon story yet (Grist, Aminatou)
were last seen imprisoned and presumably that hasn't changed (Ugin, Bolas)
were name-dropped in a way that confirms their current status (Samut)
are dead (Dack, Gideon)

Daretti deserves a special mention because he was supposed to appear in War of the Spark but got cut, making his last appearance in 2016's Conspiracy: Take the Crown.

March of the Machine: The Aftermath promotional image:
Tumblr media
I think it's interesting/important that each of the 3 main Walkers (Sarkhan, Nissa, and Nahiri) each represent a Multi-Planar threat that they were aligned with for a time (Nicol Bolas, the Phyrexians, and the Eldrazi, respectively). Karn is looking pretty sad, so I'm wondering if them stepping away from him (leaving him behind?) is a sign that we're moving on from the issues of the past (like Urza).
The 3 do share the Eldrazi as connective tissue: Sarkhan unleashed them while under Bolas' control; Nissa is from Zendikar and also spoke with Emeria that one time on Amonkhet; Nahiri is also from Zendikar, was introduced fighting against the Eldrazi, then called Emrakul to Innistrad.
Or we could just be getting some nice group-therapy stories coming out. Wouldn't that be nice? Jace can finally get his cup of coffee...

Narset: Now that the Phyrexians are defeated, we must turn our focus to the Dragonlords. For too long they have oppressed the people of Tarkir. Can I count on you?

Sarkhan: Can we keep one?

Narset: Fine. What about Ojutai?

And now a microscopic HC
There's no way to know for sure, but I think that if Ugin had been in any condition to see anything RIGHT after the battle on Tarkir depicted in Crux of Fate he'd have seen Nicol Bolas look back at him for a long moment before leaving.
If Sarkhan Vol had witnessed that, what do you suppose he would have thought of it?
Also, this leads into this...

The other Chibi Walkers are revealed and available now from the Pulsecon Website.
Unfortunately, unlike other Secret Lairs, there is a limited but unknown quantity available.
