here's one last WIP update on the leetol man, before I work on the border and finish up the project!!

he's so small, it was quite a bit of work to keep it all clean lines and smooth colors... BUT I am very happy with the results!! (*ゝωб*)b

btw I need some advice on better fabrics with higher thread count! if anyone has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it!!

last stretch for this mini-panel wip~ I'll probs make the border of the patch in the same yellow gradient!

while I wait for water soluble paper to dissolve and the patch to dry, I also started on the 2nd mini-panel embroidery!

y'all I am SO proud of those hands!!

I haven't decided on what color gradient to use for the 2nd one,,, maybe reds or purples? :0

A manga panel embroidery of my one of my favourite Trigun panels everrrrrr!

I actually finished this back in April, but never got around to posting it. Since the Trigun Bookclub is currently reading the volume this is from, I got a perfect opportunity to upload it now hehe~

Progress and a few notes under the cut!

I used a new line technique, so it’s not as clean. But this was 100% the most fun I’ve had with a project so far!

Around 6 by 6,5 cm in size, this is mounted onto an acrylic plate and has two pins attached to the back. I normally do iron-on patches, but turning it into a patch wouldn’t have worked out quite as well for this one

You never notice how much cat hair you got sticking to everything, until it’s time to take detailed pictures haha,,,,,

got hit with a bad cold, but I'm finally back with a wip from the cmyk mini panel series!!

this itty bitty baby will be the m part to the set~

working at a 4 x 6.5 cm size for this one needs patience and steady hands, but it's sooo fun!

behold, yanqing ultimate logo!!

icy sword bird boy is my fav star rail character in terms of personality (lil shit), design (transmasc-coded), and play style (swords, descend)!

this is an embroidery iron-on patch with 7 different (trans-adjacent) colors of floss, about 5 cm in diameter, and I added three little silver bells like the ones on his wrist or chest emblem~

there he is!! the boye, the legend, the skrunkly!! awawawawawawaaa~

remember when they first dropped the plushie design at the end of february and everyone went a little crazy? yeah, me included.

he made me so happy and while I did order a plushie, I just wanted to have more of that sweet serotonin immediately! so... I gave myself early access hehe~

some more details on the embroidery and process under the cut! (*´∇`)ﾉ

you gotta know, I hadn't done any embroidery projects for years before seeing the vash plushie rewired something in my brain! I was quite rusty, so he may not be perfect and took forever to make, but every stitch is filled with so much love and peace! 🤞

this is an iron-on patch! I used three strands of the floss, which is a bit too chunky for my tastes.

from spikey tip to widdle toes, he's 9 cm tall! ...that's actually too big for my hoop and I had to do head and body separatly. this blurry picture is the only remaining evidence from before the head-attachment surgery!

I still haven't received my actual plushie, but until then he's doing a wonderful job keeping me company! (*´˘`*)♡
