harvest moon: a wonderful life was the first video game i ever truly played for myself. i got it as a present (at olive garden, woo woo) on my sixth birthday, and i remember being so obsessed with it that i read the back of the case over and over through lunch at the table. when i first played, muffy instantly caught my eye: and this was long before i ever understood my sexuality!! i thought "whoa, she's pretty - i'm probably supposed to woo her." little did i know. when i discovered ds: cute years later, and realized i could marry my main man griffin? it was over. but get this... the farmer has two hands, for two blue feathers, ya feel me?

i started hana's save when i got tired of playing step-by-step to a walkthrough on kameyo's save on my ds: plus, she was deeply invested in griffin's route, and carter was so dang cute every time i visited the dig site... his romance route is one of my favorites in the game (i would love to talk to you about ancient ruins, actually, mister) and i've grown ferociously attached to hana. she is legitimately the cutest sim i have ever made!
