God I just really feel like these two aren't in love with *each other* though.. On a serious note. Like I feel like they're in love with the past versions.. To the point where Roy is missing flags about Housekeeper and Housekeeper is missing those same flags..
Yes, that’s true. But there is enough hope and chemistry there for them to feel that the crazy adventure they are about to embark on might just have a happy ending.

Yep, I hear you. I also want to say that there are quite a few story arcs in 5 Years Later that were developed from readers saying ‘what if....’.
What if Sonia was bisexual?
What if the older lady actually gets to keep the younger man? (This one is particularly amusing to me because the reader who liked to badger me about it seemed to stopped liking or commenting on my story as soon as Jonita started being a thing again?? lolol Anyway she left a lasting legacy, so I’m grateful, and we do need more stories where the older woman finds happiness with the younger man, and isn’t burnt at the stake for it. )
What if Roy and Saoirse actually find happiness together?

Well. I suppose neither of these marriages was going well. Perhaps Saoirse can keep Roy in check a bit better than Sonia and this would free Sonia to be happy with the woman of her choice. It's all terribly messy but I guess I'm along for the ride at this point. (I don't know that I'll ever really ship it, but you surprise me often.)

Grabbing her hand he pulled her down to him. “That’s not what I’m saying. I love you to the moon and back.”
“I love you too even though your still as sappy as ever.” She giggled as his hands went around her waist slipping lower to her hips. “Not here” she warned “people are watching.”
“Let them watch” he nuzzled his nose into the side of her neck placing soft kisses along her collar-bone.
“What about Aubrey” she asked trying not to give in to her growing desire.
“She’s seen us kiss before” he tilted his head back “we’re on vacation. Relax.”
“I’m trying” Trinity muttered leaning into him.
“You know what our problem is don’t you” Vincent asked after a moment or two of silence.

By the time that Darwin finally can bring himself to go to class, class is ending, naturally. His classmates are in the hall, chattering about everything from their upcoming exams, to where they plan to go to drink for the evening, to who broke the toilet this time. No one is shell-shocked from the trauma of trying to comprehend a teenage girl’s unfathomable situation, or feeling the afterburn of a stinging near-confession. Or moping over their less-than-adequate fertility.
He envies them.
Flynn catches him up regarding the day’s lecture, but it’s nothing that he doesn’t already know. So he does what he’s been doing for most of his life–he smiles and nods, an action that has gotten him through more than one period of madness. He doesn’t need to burden these kids with his problems. They’ll have their own soon enough.

Yes! I love Hudson. I originally didn’t like him, but he’s become such a sweetheart that I’m glad he’ll be my heir. I think he and Peyton would make a cute couple too, but his heart’s with Hanna.

I was tagged in a genderbend meme thing by @simmerjazen. Thank you for thinking of me!
I haven’t actually loaded Sims at all in weeks, maybe months now, and I don’t see myself loading it any time in the foreseeable future, so I’m not really participating much in things I get tagged in, if they require images I don’t already have on hand. But for genderbends, I do sort of have something to show.
Julieta Gutierrez, Ulises’ sister, is a straight up gender bend of her brother. It’s possible I tweaked her face a little after switching the genders, and I did remove his tattoos from her. But as far as facial sculpts go, this is what Ulises looks like gender swapped.

I love this comment. Such an excellent point! To answer your question though, no, Theodore has not thought about how this will affect anyone but himself. At this point in the story, he is a vain, self-centered person whose main concerns are his money, his reputation, and his career in politics. Whether that will ever change or not remains to be seen, but if it helps I believe that he absolutely has the capacity to grow up and become an upstanding leader of the community as well as a good father and maybe, someday, a good husband too. He’s just not there yet.

Theodore was/is very torn about how to handle the birth of a daughter that he doesn’t (and never did) want, and that sort of internal conflict is precisely what I was going for with both his facial expression and his overall body language and stance. LOL, thank you Kylie! :D I used NRaas’s instant baby function (that comes with Master Controller) on some of the hospital staff to get a variety of different looking babies, hehe. That part actually didn’t take too much time since they were just burrito babies instead of resized toddlers. Decorating the nursery and hospital, on the other hand, took ages!

Jane knows Kit is an evil bastard that can't be trusted. LOL it worries me that Kit has been there to hold her knowing what plans he had for that poor baby. :( I hope he hasn't done it yet. That's really my wish right now. I'm glad Wes went to see her. Wonder if he'll still be there when Theo arrives.

I'm always too nervous to hold them - they're too precious and I go into panic mode that I might drop it lol x He did well - must be a natural
Oh, I am the exact same way! I didn’t even want to hold my baby sister when she was first born, and at that point I was 25 years old and had spent over three years working in childcare with babies and toddlers. Newborns are just so fragile and delicate, haha. But Westley is definitely a natural.

Jerking her hand away “it was my fault don’t you get it? I was driving. I was rushing. My mind was on all the things I left unfinished. I was thinking of my job, my career instead of paying attention to the road. Maybe if I hadn’t been distracted I could have seen what was going to happen. I keep thinking I could have prevented it.”
She stumbled to her feet Vincent following her. “Don’t do this to yourself. It wasn’t your fault. It was an accident. A terrible accident.”
Her left hand reached out to him while her right hand softly traced the scars on his once unmarred handsome face. “If I had been going slower it would have been you who had died that night. Instead it was a little boy.” Her face crumpled as she remembered the screeching of tires and crunching of metal as the truck tore into their car as it ran the stop light that night almost 2 years ago.
Pulling her close Vincent held her as the memories tore her apart. He rubbed her back whispering soothing words as she cried into his shoulder. The accident had been the reason she quit her job despite his protests. He knew even if she didn’t at the time it was her way of punishing herself for the accident. An accident that was out of her control.

You’re right, it is something that Peppermint needs to talk with her about. :(
He would if he knew that she was worrying about it, but he thinks she doesn’t even know about them. He’s never talked about his parents with CC and she’s never asked about them. (It’s another conversation he’s been avoiding for way too long.)
Luckily, CC’s not too nervous to ask Lupin about it. Poor guy will do his best, but he too thinks she should ask Peppermint about it.

where the hell are his parents?
lol well, they’re in the house but not anywhere nearby. Most of the house is soundproof* and the garage most definitely is (what with the cars, machines, sculpting station’s saw...it gets noisy) so, it’s not like they’d hear what’s going on. Considering the time of day (night) they were probably in their room, showering, working, or something....essentially on the other side of the house. They have no reason to suspect this is going on aside from Ibis’ past behavior.

omg I love reading all of your comments. 😂 Even if you are experiencing anxiety and an extreme hatred for Mira. I totally get where you’re coming from, and agree 100% with you. It’s nice to see someone looking out for Kalvin. He did nothing to deserve any of this, and does deserve better. However the thought of moving him out to be with someone else so he can live happily kills me. I only play 1 family at a time, and I wanna keep playing with him, so he’s not going anywhere. Mira doesn’t want to divorce him. It may not seem like it, but she really does love him, and their family. She just got caught up in an attraction to another man and is now in way too deep. I don’t think you’re gonna like where things are headed. Sorry lol! But continue to be my good moral compass, you’re helping me to figure out where I wanna go with all of this!
