Rose Quartz cosplay time!

I got some beautiful photos from my friend (see the watermark) of my Rose Quartz cosplay :) I've been working on this project since August, and I'm so so happy with how it turned out (and so so happy that it's over). This was taken at RadCon, and I'll also be at Emerald City Comic Con in a couple weeks. (If you happen to be going this year, come say hi! I will definitely be easy to spot on Saturday)

okay, so i'm working on an aemond targaryen x reader fic where the reader is a stark sent from the north to marry aemond, and he is just so in love with her, and her with him. but aemond sees her as this absolute shining beauty of whom he is too unworthy, and so he distances himself from her, until one night when the reader hears a few ladies of the court talking about you and aemond's relationship and how they heard that otto and alicent where contemplating having aegon annull the marriage and betroth him to someone new and more worthy of him on her way to a feast. and then things just go downhill and it leads to aemond finding the reader in tears and she demands an answer as to why aemond despises her so much, and its all apologies and fluff (and maybe makeup smut, i haven't decided yet) from there on out.

and given how quickly my last aemond fic caught on, would anyone be interested in being tagged for it maybe? i know its a lot, but its just going to be one one-shot packed full of emotion, and love and angst and i was just wondering if anyone would maybe be interested.

i’ll just address the hiatus here, because i have been asked about this series or individual works for the Marquis, or even my other unrelated works of fiction. this year and even the past one towards the end has been extremely difficult to adjust to. from changes in work to the demise of many loved ones, i find it difficult to bring myself to sit down and write, and i would never write something halfheartedly and especially if a dear anon went out of their way to request that i write them their prompt. i find solace in writing which is why the minute i get some motivation out of my writer’s block (let’s call it that) i decide to post unrequested one-shots. i see your requests, i hear them, and i will always deliver. i apologise for delays, but i request your patience.

Dewdroppppp if he counts 🤔 more often than not the way many many people characterize him and everything that’s generally agreed upon in ghost lore really just.. him for sure. If he doesn’t count lemme know and I can definitely pull out a back up.

12, what kind of day is it?

Not a very good day actually lol but I’m home from work and was just blessed with the puppy ghoul pictures and that actually made me super happy for a bit. Plus it did rain this morning and we may get thunderstorms tonight and those are my favorite, so I can’t complain too much.

24, if we were together on a rooftop what would we be doing?

Oohhh can it be a rooftop at night? It’s too hot during the day and the stars are always pretty here. We’d probably end up talking about sooo many different things. Feel like we’d be jumping around from topic to topic and be there all night. I’d love to pick your brain about witchy stuff and things like that.

🥺 That I got a message like this actually surprised me.

Sorry, that I disappeared all of a sudden almost a year ago without saying a word, and leaving all my BSD projects and mutuals behind. 🙈

But many things in my life happend pretty fast, and then I neither had the time nor the strength to keep on doing what I usually did here.

But tbh, I also kinda needed a time out from BSD, too. Now things are going smoothly again in my life (and in the right direction, finally!). And I am fit again to throw myself back into deep BSD lore.

I'm very sorry to everyone who may have wondered why I'm gone and why I haven't answered any messages anymore 🥲

I'm currently re-reading the manga and catching up with everything that I missed since then (both in the bsd story and fandom). So things will still take me a while until I'm up to date.

Thoughts about Nona so far.

Wow I love Nona so much that I've almost completely forgotten about Gideon and Harrow. I wish I had the two earlier books with me so I could reference the dramatis personae sections again. The dashed-out names are driving me crazy because I refuse to look anything up and my memory for who they could be is shit... but you know what I'm going to reread these books ASAP so I'll figure it out no problem.

Also: Camilla and Palamedes make my heart hurt with yearning. Oof ouchie. I am straight up crying in the Honda shop waiting area, and those two are totes fine. They better remain fine. I've got a little more than half of the book to go, so. It should be fine.
