5 Headcanons About: Mental Illness (violence tw)

Blaine was diagnosed with Conduct Disorder (CD) when he was 8 years old. CD is characterized by callous disregard for and aggression toward others. After a particularly brutal fight on the playground between Blaine and a classmate in which Blaine broke the other boy’s nose, his dad knew something was wrong and sought treatment for him. 

Blaine’s dad didn’t want to put him into psychotherapy initially due to the stigma surrounding it, but once he was given a diagnosis, George felt it was necessary to help his son. He was in therapy for three years until the doctor believed that he no longer needed it. The only thing Blaine feels he “learned” from these weekly sessions was how to better blend in with his neurotypical peers.

Blaine gave himself a diagnosis of Anti-Social Personality Disorder (ASPD) when he was 17 years old. ASPD is characterized by a lack of regard for the difference between right and wrong, a lack of guilt or remorse, and disregard for the rights and feelings of others. He has not sought out an official diagnosis because he doesn’t want there to be any written record of this diagnosis. He hasn’t told anyone in his life about this due to the strong stigma surrounding ASPD and cluster-B personality disorders in general. However, he has found an online community where he expresses his inner thoughts under an alias. 

Despite what the media will tell you, Blaine does have emotions, he just doesn’t feel them as intensely as the average person. He can and does have spikes in emotions, but for the most part, his mind remains neutral; the emotion that spikes for him the most often is anger. He doesn’t have any emotional empathy, but does have a normal amount of cognitive empathy. He has people in his life that he genuinely cares about, but he doesn’t feel as though he’s unable to live without them; he doesn’t need others to survive, but nonetheless wants them around. He’s able to blend into society as a normal person with a normal range of emotions, but has felt his mask slipping lately. 

Blaine has intrusive thoughts on a regular basis. These thoughts range from running red lights to committing heinous acts against his friends and family. He can’t control the fact that the thoughts occur, but he is able to dismiss the more serious ones. The system he’s come up with in his mind to determine whether he should execute an intrusive thought is to ask himself “Will this benefit me in some way?” and “What is the worst possible consequence if I get caught doing this thing?” 

4 Headcanons About: Academics 

Blaine has always excelled academically and is a fast worker. Often in grade school, he would finish class assignments early and space out during class. Teachers often tried to catch him not paying attention, but whenever they asked a question, he’d answer it correctly. Some were impressed by this, while others were aggravated. 

Blaine’s undergraduate degree is in economics, and he has a minor in professional writing. He felt as though these subjects would be beneficial to him in his future legal career. He also considered a minor in anthropology, solely because he was interested in the subject, but didn’t have enough room in his schedule to take up a second minor.

Blaine is entering his third year of law school. He decided he wanted to go into law when he was 10 years old. Growing up, he often heard his dad talk about how high his salary was from his corporate law job. Blaine values financial stability, which is why he decided to follow in his dad’s footsteps. If he hadn’t decided to go into law, he would have most likely gone into marine biology. 

In law school, students are ranked based on their GPAs in order to determine eligibility for scholarship. Blaine is ranked in the top 10% of his class, which has not only helped him keep his scholarship but also helped him in terms of job hunting. 

3 Headcanons About: Ethnicity/Culture

Blaine is ethnically Italian, English, Polish, and German; his father is Italian and English, and his mother was Polish and German.

From spending time with his paternal grandparents, Blaine learned how to speak Italian fluently. He learned some Polish from his maternal grandmother, but only considers himself conversational at best. He never learned German because his maternal grandfather passed shortly before he was born. Neither of these language skills come in handy very often, but they make for good fun facts during icebreaker events. 

Though Blaine enjoys Italian food, he can’t eat a lot of it due to the fact that most of it contains cheese. He is very allergic to dairy and will break out into hives if he consumes any. His grandma has learned to make traditional Italian dishes with cheese substitutes for him, but moans and groans about it whenever she’s asked to do it. 

2 Headcanons About: Daily Routine

Blaine drinks coffee every morning. He takes his coffee with sugar and almond milk. He doesn’t drink regular milk because of his dairy allergy. Sometimes he will try other dairy-free options, but typically sticks with almond milk.

Blaine is an early riser and has been for many years. He typically wakes up around 6:00 am every morning, even if he doesn’t have to go anywhere. On days where he doesn’t have anything important happening, he will either try to go back to sleep or go on walks in his neighborhood. 

1 Headcanon About: Defining Moment (death tw)

Blaine’s mom was diagnosed with cancer in December 1999 and passed away in September 2001. Over the course of one year, her health rapidly declined and no amount of chemotherapy helped. She passed two days after his 4th birthday while Blaine and his dad were visiting her. The experience deeply traumatized him

After her conversion to Seventh Day Adventism, Jack’s mom took on a “holier-than-thou” mentality. From a young age, Jack questioned her attitude, as well as the attitudes of other members of the church. The Bible encourages loving others despite their differences, yet the Church was always trying to change those who had differing opinions. This song is meant to express Jack’s frustration with being surrounded by hypocrisy. 

Track 2: Run Away With Me- Carly Rae Jepsen (homophobia tw)

Despite the upbeat tune of the song, the situation Jack was in as a teenager was anything but cheery. When Jack came out as gay, they were given an ultimatum: go to conversion therapy or leave. Jack chose the latter. Jack and their boyfriend at the time made plans to run off to California. Even though they both grew up being told that their love was sinful, they were willing to risk it all to start a life together. They were young and in love, and felt they’d be okay as long as they had each other.

Track 3: California- Petey (homelessness tw)

Jack left their home in Wilmington, North Carolina, for the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, California, shortly after their 18th birthday. However, life didn’t become easier when they set foot on the west coast. Jack and their ex-boyfriend lived in a homeless shelter for two years before getting on their feet. Despite struggling mentally, financially, and romantically, the two chose to stay where they were. Struggling in California was better than being completely miserable in North Carolina.

Track 4: Unholy- Miley Cyrus

As Jack entered their 20′s, they were presented with the opportunity for a career in modeling. Their modeling gigs introduced them to the L.A. party scene, and they were hooked from the start. Now that they were single and working as a model, Jack took the opportunity to hook up with anyone and everyone. With these escapades also came drinking and recreational drug use. They didn’t care that it was “sinful” or “unholy,” because everyone else around them was doing the same exact thing. 

Track 5: Fluids- Michael Medrano (drugs tw)

As Jack started experimenting more with drugs and alcohol, they also started experimenting sexually. They initially identified as a gay man, but after numerous encounters with people all across the gender spectrum, they started to question this. They knew they weren’t straight, but they weren’t fully gay either. At first, they thought it was the alcohol, but eventually they came to terms with the fact that they’re sexually fluid all the time; the alcohol just gave them the courage to act on it. 

Track 6: successful- Ariana Grande

By the age of 23, Jack was able to pursue modeling as a full-time career. While they aren’t the biggest name in the game, they’ve found a lot of success, especially in queer circles. This song is a celebration of their success, as well as the success of people around them. Jack has taken pride in being able to travel all around the world and live lavishly. They also want to share this success with their loved ones and uplift them in any way possible. 

Track 7: Lowkey As Hell- Waterparks

On the flip side of enjoying their youth and success, being famous can be stressful. Jack is a materialistic person and wants to have nice things, but at the same time, they still struggle emotionally like everyone else. They know that things could be much worse, but that doesn’t make their struggles feel any less real. This song is an expression of feeling depressed and disconnected, despite constantly working and having material success.

Track 8: Androgyny- Garbage

Jack currently uses the term “genderfluid” to describe their gender, but it wasn’t until their mid-20′s that they started to experiment with their gender presentation. Up until then, they had only ever worn men’s clothes because they were taught from a young age that “cross-dressing” was unacceptable. Once they got past their fears and internal biases, they realized that it didn’t matter who wore what. Fabric was fabric no matter who was wearing it. Meeting gender non-conforming models and experimenting with their own style helped them come to terms with their femininity, masculinity, and androgyny. 

Track 9: Bad Romance- Lady Gaga

Jack had a turbulent relationship with their ex-fiancé, Sage, from the very beginning. Jack and Sage met through work and started off as friends, but things heated up quickly between the two. Despite being on-and-off for five years, Jack always went back for more, even though they knew on some level that it wasn’t good for their mental health. The couple wanted to be right for one another, but never were. 

Track 10: Best Part of Me- Ed Sheeran & Yebba

After getting back together for the third time, Jack proposed to Sage. Despite Jack’s flaws and self-doubt, Sage said yes to getting married. Even though their relationship was open sexually, they felt romantically bound to one another. Jack was fully committed to spending the rest of their life with Sage and thought that they were the best part of their life. Little did they know that their own actions would lead to the demise of the relationship. 

Track 11: Talia- King Princess (alcoholism tw) 

Sage and Jack’s relationship ended after a drunken fight in October 2020. After Sage quit drinking, they started to see that Jack had a drinking problem. They begged Jack to get help, but they refused to acknowledge their problem. After a particularly bad fight, Sage left the apartment and left their engagement ring on the nightstand. The next morning, they texted Jack and said they could no longer be together. Sage had walked out before, but this time was permanent. Before beginning on their journey towards sobriety, Jack had a week-long period of binge drinking where they wallowed in self-pity and imagined that Sage was still by their side.

Track 12: decide to be happy- MisterWives

With the encouragement of their manager, Jack quit drinking and started attending therapy, not as a way to win Sage back, but as a means of self-care. Jack had been struggling with depression for years, but they used alcohol to hide it. As much as the breakup hurt, Jack needed this pain in order to grow as a person and take steps towards finding true happiness. Being happy doesn’t always come easy, but now, they wake up every morning and decide to continue on the path of self-growth.

Track 13: Sober- Kelly Clarkson (alcoholism tw)

This song is a reflection of living life without alcohol and without their ex-fiancé. They hit a low point in January 2021 and flip-flopped between contemplating relapse and contemplating begging their ex for forgiveness. However, they toughed through this rough patch and continued flourishing. They made it this far, and they didn’t want all of that progress to go to waste. They started to reevaluate their friendships, weeding out the negative influences from L.A. and nurturing the new friendships they were making in Santa Monica, thus picking all their weeds but keeping the flowers.

Track 14: Sober- P!nk (alcoholism tw)

Upon a lot of self-reflection, Jack realized just how many issues alcohol created in their life. They received a reputation from the paparazzi as a wild party animal and attention seeker. Many friends and acquaintances didn’t know who Jack was sober. This isn’t who Jack wanted to be any more. They’re relearning themself and learning how to properly enjoy life without the vices that dragged them down. However, this doesn’t mean that the cravings have stopped.  

Track 15: Sleeping With A Friend- Neon Trees

Jack slept with their now-girlfriend, Vivian, for the first time in February 2021 at Santa Monica’s first Masquerade Ball. The two met each other when Jack moved into the apartment next to Vivian’s in December 2020. The attraction was there from the start, but the two didn’t want to risk messing up the budding friendship they had. This night changed all of that. They gave into temptation and took the risk, despite the possible consequences. Little did they know that they would both soon catch feelings for one another. 

Track 16: Official- Charli XCX

After Jack returned from Fashion Week in March, they started seeing Vivian much more often. They began having overnight hangouts multiple times per week. It was at La Playa Music Festival that they confessed their feelings for one another. It wasn’t any grandiose gesture that made Jack develop feelings for Vivian, but rather a combination of all of the little things they had been doing together, like pizza dates on her couch, kissing in the kitchen, and sharing their fears and emotions at all hours of the night.

Even though the song isn’t an exact fit for his life, it sums up his childhood hopes and dreams of being a famous actor pretty well. He’s been dreaming big ever since he saw his fist trip to the movie theater to see Mission: Impossible. He’s had the drive to make it big for a long time, but the question of the hour is whether he has the skill.

Track 2: Miami- Will Smith

Despite the fact that he was born in the Philippines, Vito considers Miami to be his true hometown in many respects. It was the place where he spent most of his childhood, the place where he fostered his love of acting, and the place where he first started falling in love with life. Even though he hasn’t lived in Miami since he left for college in 2008, every time he returns to visit his family, he feels like he never left. 

Track 3: Hello, Brooklyn- All Time Low

Vito moved to Brooklyn with one of his college roommates after graduating college in 2012. It was in Brooklyn that he really got into DJing and started to do it for money. Vito has always been the type to live life to the fullest, and this song is an expression of that sentiment. He made Brooklyn his second home and partied it up while he lived there. 

Track 4: Beverly Hills- Weezer

Even though Vito has wanted to be an actor since he was 7 years old, he still has his insecurities about it. Specifically, he worries that he won’t fit in with actors who came from money. Vito wants to be amongst the elite, but comes from a completely different world, one without any glitz or glamor. This is part of the reason why it took him until 2020 to make his big move. 

Track 5: Best Day Of My Life- American Authors

Vito considers the day he officially made his move out west to be one of the best days of his life. As much as he liked Brooklyn and the friends he made there, acting in student films and off-Broadway shows wasn’t where he wanted to be in life. He didn’t know anyone in California except his roommate, who he had only met in person once. Moving was his chance to start anew and fully realize his dreams. 

Track 6: I Gotta Feeling- Black Eyed Peas

Once he decided to make the move out west, Vito fell in love with Santa Monica. The palm trees and beach reminded him of Miami, and it was close enough to L.A. that he could get to auditions with relative ease. From the first day, he had a feeling that he was going to like California. This song is meant to be an expression of Vito having a good time and making new memories.

Track 7: Go DJ- Lil Wayne

Vito has yet to land a full-time acting gig, so DJing has been his primary source of income. This is a song he’ll play to himself when he needs motivation. It’s a reminder to himself that if all else fails, people still think he’s good at DJing. After all, he wouldn’t be working at a club 4 nights per week if people didn’t like his mixes.

Track 8: Don’t Stop The Music- Rihanna

This song is one of Vito’s favorite songs to play in the club. It’s one of those songs that gets the crowd up and dancing; no one can resist a good Rihanna song. Acting is his first passion, but he relates to the message of this song: leaving the stress of life behind you and dancing to good music. It’s songs like this that remind him what got him into music in the first place. 

Track 9: Club Can’t Handle Me- Flo Rida & David Guetta

This song is a combination of a pep-talk and a song to amp up the club. This is one of those songs that makes Vito feel like he’s on top of the world. Playing this song at Circle Bar makes him feel invincible. Even though he doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle like Flo Rida and David Guetta, Vito knows how to party and how to liven up a party through music. 

Track 10: Sorry for Party Rocking- LMFAO

As a DJ, Vito goes hard and goes loud. His neighbors over the years, in both Brooklyn and Santa Monica, have had to put up with a lot of his musical antics. All he can ever really say form himself is “Sorry!” because he’s not going to stop anytime soon. Even though he doesn’t drink as excessively as LMFAO, nor does he hook up with women like they do, this song makes for another fun song to amp up the club. 

Track 11: Sour Patch Kids- Bryce Vine

Being an adult is hard. Since moving to California, Vito has started to notice how much he struggles with money. Sometimes he needs to get money off his mind and just kick back and relax like he did when he was a kid. He feels very nostalgic for his childhood, especially the parts when he didn’t have any responsibilities or cares in the world. 

Track 12: Crush- David Archuleta

Vito felt himself crushing on Verity shortly after their blind date. As time went on, these feelings only grew stronger. He spent the first two months of knowing her wondering if she shared his feelings or if this was all one-sided and hopeless. Despite these worries, his feelings didn’t wane. His crush wasn’t going away any time soon. 

Track 13: What A Man Gotta Do- The Jonas Brothers

After a few months of hanging out and having little dates with Verity, Vito realized that he didn’t want to be just friends with her. Her kiss had him hooked, and he wanted more. He wanted to be with her, labels and all, and if she wanted him, he was all hers. Turns out all he had to do to make this a reality was ask. 

Track 14: Only Wanna Be With You- Post Malone

This is another song that isn’t an exact fit but has an overall relatable message: wanting to be with one person and one person only. Even though he and Verity have led very different lives, they’re still able to get along and make their relationship work. He doesn’t care if he’s foolish for becoming this attached to her so soon into the relationship, because he’s happy and that’s all that matters to him. The reason this version is on the playlist rather than the original is because Vito is a bigger fan of Post Malone (he says “no disrespect to Hootie, though”).

Track 15: Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)- Ne-Yo

Verity struggles with insecurity. She was in two relationships before she began dating Vito, and neither of them ended on a great note. Vito feels very strongly towards her, and not only does he want to show her that he loves and cares about her, but he also wants her to love herself. He wants her to see herself as the kind, caring, and beautiful woman he sees her as. He’ll gladly put his own insecurities aside if it means lifting her up.

Jian didn’t plan to go to the masquerade ball. His original plan was to spend Lunar New Year with his parents in San Diego. However, they sprung the news that they were going to a business conference in Beijing on Wednesday, the day before he was supposed to drive down to see them. With nothing better to do with his weekend, he grabbed the last free suit he found at a local boutique, found an old mask he had used for a Halloween costume a few years prior-- a wolf mask, very fitting for his lone wolf status-- and made his way to Bergamot. Did he like parties? No, absolutely not. But he didn’t trust himself to be alone at the moment. 

Jian wasn’t much of a drinker, but tonight, he had a reason to get drunk. After his fourth or fifth drink-- he lost count-- he spotted another young man at the bar alone. “Hey, you’re here alone too? Cheers,” Jian said, raising his empty beer bottle in the general direction of the other man.

5 Headcanons About: Appearance

August’s hair is constantly changing. When he was younger, he always kept it short and never dyed it, but once he reached his 20′s, he began experimenting with his hairstyles and colors. He often finds himself returning to the buzzed look, but when he does, he’ll dye it a funky color, despite his father’s objections. His favorite color that he’s done is the rainbow that he did for 2021 pride. 

August has one tattoo of a key on his wrist. He got the tattoo on his 23rd birthday. He decided to get this tattoo in this specific design for two reasons. The first reason is that he loves the symbolism of the key– unlocking doors throughout his journey of self-discovery and self-fulfillment. The second reason is that people always told him growing up that he “wore his heart on his sleeve,” so he decided to show that to the world through art. He’s considered getting other tattoos, but hasn’t figured out what he wants yet. 

August got his ears pierced in his sophomore year of high school. He usually goes for a fake diamond stud earring, but will occasionally choose a dangle earring. In terms of jewelry, he also enjoys necklaces, but will only wear them for special occasions. 

August can often be found wearing bright colors, especially in the summer. His favorite color is yellow, so he tries to incorporate it into his style as much as possible. During the summer, he can often be found in some sort of tie-dye clothing. During the winter, he likes accessorizing with bomber jackets and army jackets. 

August was a small, scrawny kid, but through dancing, swimming, and other forms of exercise, he has developed an athletic build. Even though he isn’t dancing professionally at the moment, he still practices on a weekly basis. Additionally, he swims in the ocean whenever he 

4 Headcanons About: Travel

August has paternal relatives in Canada, England, France, and Nigeria. He has only visited his family in Nigeria twice in his life, but would like to go back some time in the near future. He’s never been to France or Canada, but has visited his aunt in England a few times.

For his 8th birthday, August’s aunt Obongoawan flew him and his family out to Manchester, England, to visit her. She bought them all first-class tickets, and this was the first and only time the Emmanuels flew first class. First-class flying wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, and Oduva felt guilty that Obongoawan spent all of the extra money on them, so he told her not to do that again. Nevertheless, she still insists on buying their tickets every time they visit her. 

August was apart of a traveling dance troupe from 2018 to 2021. Through the group, he participated in two full tours around the entire country. His favorite cities were Chicago, Seattle, New York, Portland, and Orlando. He loves his home state of California, but if he had to settle down anywhere else, these cities would be his top 5 choices. 

There are several countries August would like to visit once he’s older and has more money. Firstly, he would like to visit his family in France and Canada. Secondly, he would like to visit Ireland and Denmark as a means of connecting with his mom’s roots. Lastly, he would like to visit Australia because he thinks it would be a fun trip to make. 

3 Headcanons About: Ethnicity 

August’s father, Oduva, is ethnically Nigerian. Oduva was born and raised in Kano, Nigeria, but his ancestors are from Edo State. Oduva moved to the United States at age 17 in order to attend business classes at UCLA. 

August’s mother, Dawn, is ethnically Irish and Danish. August’s maternal grandfather immigrated to the United States from Ireland in 1960 at the age of 20. August’s maternal grandmother was born and raised in Sacramento, California; her family has lived in the United States since the 1880′s. 

When asked, August will proudly share his ethnic background. However, much to his shame, he doesn’t know any of the native languages of his ancestors. However, he hasn’t found anyone willing to teach him any of these languages. The only language other than English that he (somewhat) knows is Spanish because he took classes in high school and college. 

2 Headcanons About: Workplace 

August is currently working as the assistant manager at Healing Herbs Dispensary, the dispensary owned and operated by his parents. After medical marijuana became legal in the state of California, Dawn and Oduva Emmanuel saw an opportunity and took it. They embarked on a few small business ventures before opening Healing Herbs, but none of them lasted very long. After the legalization of recreational marijuana, they had a boom in business. 

When August is working, he’s always puts music on. The store has an iPad that uses to play songs from Spotify. When there are no customers in the store, he can often be found singing and dancing around the store as he does his cleaning tasks. People often walk in on him performing to no one, but no one has ever been rude or discouraging about it.

1 Headcanon About: Defining Moment

For August, the moment in his life he considers to be his “defining moment” is when he left home in January 2018 to be in the dance troupe. This was the first time he had ventured out into the world on his own. He was nervous, but he knew it needed to happen. It was his first step into the world of professional dancing, and he loved every minute of it. As much as he loves spending time with his family again, he wants to go back to dancing as soon as he can; for now, however, his parents need him in the store.

5 Headcanons About: Appearance (nsfw cw)

Jack’s hair is brown, but they were blond as a child. Their hair started going darker when they were about 8 or 9. They’ve experimented with hair dye before, but none of the colors lasted very long. They had platinum blond hair for about 6 months in their late 20′s and had green hair for about 2 months at the end of 2020.

Jack started getting tattoos in their early-20′s. They currently have a total of 20 tattoos and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. Shortly before coming out as genderfluid, they got the male and female symbols tattooed on their chest; these are Jack’s favorite tattoos because they represent the masculine and feminine aspects of their identity. 

Jack spent a good portion of their early career shaving their face and waxing their body hair, believing that’s what they needed to do in order to be deemed desirable. However, 6 years ago, they decided to let it all grow out and they haven’t turned back since. Jack enjoys having a beard and body hair and won’t let anyone shame them into shaving ever again. 

Jack’s clothing choices are masculine for the most part, not because they don’t want to dress femininely, but because it’s hard to find feminine clothes that fit them correctly. Plus, they enjoy having pants with pockets. When they do wear feminine clothing, it’s always something that was custom made for them. 

Jack has a birthmark on the tip of their penis. Most people don’t know about this, with the exception of their immediate family, their past sexual and romantic partners, Vivian, and a few close friends. They’re not ashamed of the birthmark, but it doesn’t come up in conversation very often. 

4 Headcanons About: Travel

As a child, up until they were 6 years old, Jack traveled to Chicago with their family several times per year in order to spend time with their maternal relatives. These visits ended after their mom had a falling out with the Siciliani family. 

Jack has traveled cross-country twice in their life. The first time was when they came to California from North Carolina at age 18. They didn’t have a car at the time, and neither did their ex-boyfriend, so the two traveled by Greyhound bus. The second time was when they took a road trip to Florida and back with their ex-fiancé for their 30th birthday. Jack drove the entire trip because Sage didn’t– and still doesn’t– have a driver’s license. 

Jack is on a plane at least once every month or two for work-related reasons. The city they visit the most often is New York. The trip they planned for Vivian’s birthday will be the first trip they’ve taken to New York for leisure in the past decade. 

Jack’s favorite place to travel to is Italy. If they had to choose a country other than the U.S. to live, Italy would be their first choice. However, they aren’t fluent in Italian, so they would have to brush up on their skills before anything else.  

3 Headcanons About: Home Life (alcohol tw, religion tw, homophobia tw, homelessness tw)

In the beginning, Jack’s parents, Sofia and Tony, were madly in love with each other. After they moved to Wilmington, North Carolina so Tony could help his brother with the family business, things started to fall apart. Tony began drinking more, and he and Sofia began arguing nearly every day. Both of them started cheating on one another when Jack was 3, and to this day, there are still questions as to whether their younger brother, Nick, is Tony’s son. 

When Jack was 6, their mother converted from Catholicism to Seventh Day Adventism. After her conversion, she started bringing Jack and their siblings to church every Saturday; their father didn’t like this church or Adventism, but he didn’t get much of a say in the matter. Jack grew up in fear of going to hell, which made it extremely difficult to accept their queer identity. To this day, they still have a complicated relationship with religion and a bucket-load of trauma they’ve yet to unpack. 

Jack came out to their parents as gay a week after their 18th birthday. Their parents freaked out and gave them an ultimatum: go to conversion therapy or get out of their house. Jack opted to leave and was on a bus out of the state the next day. Their boyfriend at the time went with them, and the two ended up on the streets of Los Angeles together. 

2 Headcanons About: Work

Jack didn’t intend on becoming a model. The reason they stumbled into modeling in the first place was because when they were 20, they drove a coworker to an audition. The agents asked Jack if they were there for the audition, and when they said no, the immediate follow-up question was, “Do you want to be?” Jack stayed in their restaurant job for another two years before quitting and pursuing modeling full-time. 

In addition to modeling, Jack also does volunteer work whenever they have the time to. They’ve worked with multiple LGBTQ+ organizations and homeless shelters in the L.A. area. As someone who faced homelessness as a youth, Jack feels that it’s important to give back to those in need now that they have wealth. 

1 Headcanon About: Pet Peeves

As someone who travels a lot, Jack’s biggest pet peeve is when airplane passengers start clapping when the plane lands. It serves no function other than to be annoying. Whenever someone does this, Jack wants to yell at the person, but they haven’t done this yet.
