The sunlight beat down on the sands and rocks, and scattered over the water. The waves rushed in and out, back and forth, a steady beat punctuated by the laughs and happy shrieks of children and young people playing, further down the strand.

Bandit shifted a foot, which earned a grumpy, sleepy kweh from Rosa. The pink ‘bo lifted her head and blinked blearily, then adjusted, draping her head over Giddy’s blue shoulder. Glorywing huffed and repositioned himself next to ArdentStar as the sun’s arc continued over Costa’s sky, changing where the shade landed. 

Little Molasses blinked at the other birds sunbathing on the beach. After a moment, the tiny ‘bo found a spot by Bandit and settled in, waiting with the other Gage Acquisition chocobos for their people to finish their business.

As far as the birds were concerned, they could take just as long as they liked.

J- Jealous- how easily they get jealous

It’s a bit difficult to answer, as Ash’Arina isn’t the jealosu type by default, so she could most likely ignore anyone trying to flirt with Lilith, so long as there is no noticeable reaction from her. On the other hand, if the 3rd party woudl manage to make Lilith react that way, Arina would get jealous in moments and would likely try to drag Lilith away (or try to scare off the 3rd party if the situation allows ie. its only the 3 of them there).

Munday Ask: (ಥ_ಥ): finish this: i hate it when...

...people can’t be up front about something that’s bothering them.

I detest mind games and “you should know what’s wrong without asking” types of bullshit, because that requires the offender to be both extremely self-aware, as well as being as aware of you as they are of themselves. That’s unreasonable, to put it kindly. It’s childish and I won’t put up with it, nor will I engage in it if I can possibly avoid it.

If I’m bothering you and I’m not saying your name or looking at you or even directly referring to you, chances are pretty good I don’t know that I’m bothering you. Why, then, would I have any idea why you’re bothered if you don’t tell me?

No progress can be made if nobody is willing to talk about what upsets them, and no-drama policies typically just function as a mute button, in that “no drama” is achieved by simply not allowing anybody to talk about anything unless it’s an echo chamber. People need to be comfortable talking through stuff that frustrates them, or not only will it never stop happening, it’ll never stop being frustrating.

So there we are.

1. What do they smell like?

Apparently I’m more about the feel/mood scents might evoke. Not necessarily all at the same time or in all circumstances:

Dark: Sweat, leather, chocobo dander, and that leafy, earthy scent of a temperate deciduous forest in the foothills leading up to higher mountains in summer.

When she’s cleaned up, she wears just the slightest hint of a perfume made with Azeyma’s Rose.

C’oretta: Sweat, sweet foods, the spicy incense she uses when meditating and going through katas, the wind over a rocky desert plain, chocobos.

The desert flower-y perfume and matching cosmetics/shampoos/etc she wears, slightly dominating the others. 

Jolaine: Sea spray, leather, old books, and the electric tang of arcane energy. She tries to keep it all as neutral as possible, though; better for sneaking in the darkmans.

(Not counting the Children of Darkheart Manor or her connection to it) 🍼- Would your muse raise an abandoned orphan they found or opt to relocate them to an orphanage instead?

The decision would be a bit difficult for her. Partly it’s because Ash’Arina doesn’t believe she coudl be a good mother, but if lilith was up for the idea, then they’d likely keep the child, if not then she’d make sure that the orphanage is really up for the task and is fitting for the child. Also, she’d help the kid’s bringing up with some financial support at least in that case.

It’s much better to knock or make a noise to wake up Teii, rather than a touch. Please don’t -enter her space- without her being awake first.....

And....well, she doesn’t do the whole -waking up- thing very well. She’s drowsy for a good hour or so after she gets up out of bed, and tends to not leave her room until the feeling passes
