it’s not like she has a whole lot of hair to be styled or toyed with, but nonetheless, sora is happy to let goldie do as they please with it. it’s such a soothing sensation anyway, the gentle tugs and curls and the careful way they treat her hair. it’s endearing, too, and she can’t help the smile it brings to her face while she sits and lets them work. occasionally she does get caught up in the relaxing sensation and makes a mistake or two in the video game she’s decided to play while letting goldie work, but it’s fine by her. damn near being lulled to sleep is well worth the game over screen flashing at her from the handheld console.

❝hihi~ sora can’t wait to see what it looks like in the end~❞ she muses, fighting her urge to sway side to side in her excitement, lest she disrupt their work. instead, even while the game over screen continues to flash slowly at her, her fingers drum along her knees to the rhythm of one of the songs she’d been practicing earlier, before the pair decided some fresh air would do them well. 

and the wait is well worth it! when goldie finishes and sora gets to see their handiwork with the help of her phone’s camera, she beams at her image, delighted to see her hair now decorated in the flowers growing around them.

❝ooh, sora almost doesn’t want to ever take these out, you know? sora’s hair looks so pretty like this~❞ a gleeful little laugh escapes her as her fingertips ghost over the petals, tracing their various shapes. maybe she’ll pass on the asobi club’s activities today after all, considering she doesn’t want to risk damaging the arrangement. but after a moment, her attention turns to goldie once more, around whom she wraps her arms as she gives their cheek a little peck.

❝can you teach sora how to style hair like this? she bets you’d look wonderful with flowers in your hair too, after all~ so learning how to do it for goldie would be fun!❞ the idea of doing something like this for natsume or tsumugi crosses her mind too, or maybe the twins, but she decides against it for the time being. for now, this can just be a nice thing for her and her partner, in times like this when they can wind down and enjoy each other’s company.

"Is the curse really gone?" Goldie approaches his uncle with a combination of both curiosity and nervousness. His uncle is different, that's easy to tell. Seems so much softer. This is kind of what he has always hoped for. But now that the man is actually like this, it takes a bit to get used to. Yeah, he'll get there eventually. "Are you okay now?" // for Philip in the redemption verse!

It’s still so fragmented, his memories. He still doesn’t quite recall much and wonders if he may ever. Nothing is cohesive in his mind and most of the past several years taken over by this curse have had to be filled in by Kiki. He hasn’t seen his boy yet, at least not until this moment.

The flood of emotions that slam into him at once is almost too overwhelming. He hasn’t felt such unvarnished, unconditional love, and simultaneous shame and grief in far longer than he can recall—at least until this moment. Soft maroon eyes, his nervous chipped toothed little mouth; he can’t even articulate the feelings it brings forth, along with the tears it springs.

“Goldie…” Philip slowly comes forward and he extends a shaky hand gloved in lace, out towards his child’s cheek to cup it.

“Yes child….we’ve broken it.”

Goldie is not exactly on the best terms with Noel at the moment but... After they found out something (they don't know exactly what) is going on between him and Luz, of course they had to go say something to her. He left the coven and his twin behind because he wanted to be happy so damn it he's going to be happy. Otherwise what's the point of him leaving? So they surprise her when she's alone and point their staff at her. Boy, do they look rough with the two scars on their face, missing half of the left ear and grumpy facial expression. "Listen, I don't know what you are to Noel but I am aware you're important to him. Don't even think about hurting him. If you do, you'll have to deal with me. That's all. Have a nice day or whatever." And with that, they turn around and get ready to leave. // hehe hewwo

"SooOooOo. I uh, I take it you're Goldie?" She laughed nervously, feathers sprouting across her arms and legs. As their staff was pointed in her face.

Out of all the things that she could have predicted might happen on her way into town. Getting jumped and given the protective sibling talk. They must have been tracking her, because not many witches used the underground sewer tunnels to get places. And after last time....well she was a lot more nervous about walking around without company. Thank titan Noel had been with her back then.

"Well, I suppose girlfriend?" At least, it's what she hoped. They had their first date tomorrow night after all. "And trust me...or don't? But hurting Brig-, Noel would be one of the last things I'd ever want to do." Goldie wasn't the only one that wanted Noel to be happy now that he left the Emperor's coven. Now that he had his chance to really be free.

She was surprised at how quick the blonde turned, and went to run off again....Luz pulled an elixir out of her bag, uncorking it and chugging it down before calling after them.

"Hey Goldie!...I was just on my way to grab something at Skull-bucks. You wanna maybe I dunno...come with? My treat!" She offered, recalling a story Noel once told her about his war with the breakroom coffeemaker in his twin's honor.

    At one time, Noel would have never even considered that he would be uncomfortable around his twin. Why would he? They’re twins...well, close enough. A clone of his sibling...that has to count as twins somewhere, yeah?

    But that was then and this is now. He really doesn’t know why Goldie’s here and is extremely tense over it---especially since they have Rascal at the moment.

    “Look...if you’re here to just...I dunno, be mean or something, then I’m not gonna stick around. But if you need help, then I’ll do what I can ‘cause...you’re still my twin, Goldie, no matter what. If you need anything that’s not, y’know, arresting my friends...then I’ll help however I can.”

Goldie is just going to give him a couple of comforting pats on his back without looking up from her book.

And Hunter’s gonna just... Bury his face into his hands and let out a muffled ‘scream’ (he’s keeping his volume down so he doesn’t bother his sister anymore than he might have already but the emotion is very much there) for a good few seconds.

“...I’m so tired...” Hunter mumbled, still in his hands. “....I want the things to stop now,  please and thank you...”
