So is there a wrestling verse still?
Tumblr media
"From Diamond City, 325 pounds: WARIOOOOO!" The crowd erupts in a sea of boos as Wario proudly struts and grandstands around the ring.
Tumblr media
"It's clobberin' time!" "From Springfield, 286 pounds: HOMERRRRR SIMPSONNNNN!" The crowd cheers when Homer says his piece loudly and proudly for the arena to hear!
The bell rings and the two heavyweights rush each other! Homer starts off hitting Wario with a few haymakers, but Wario quickly gets the upper hand, grabbing Homer and punching back before slamming him to the ground. He grabs Homer by the legs and swings him around before throwing him to the corner before running at him and slamming 325 pounds of man-ass on top of him! "D'OH!" Wario stays on top of Homer in an early pinning predicament. "1..." Homer quickly kicks out at 1 and punches his way out from under Wario. He drives Wario into the corner and punches him more before headbutting him with his bald head, but Wario reverses and suplexes Homer back into the middle of the ring. He runs the ropes and body splashes Homer and pins him again. "1..." Another early kick out by Homer. Wario takes a big bite of garlic while Homer struggles to get up. The treasure hunter immediately grabs the nuclear safety inspector and piledrives him before pinning him again. "1... 2..." Kick out again by Homer. But Wario signals the end and gobbles down a whole clove of garlic. He picks up Homer and throws him into the corner and presses his fat ass right in Homer's face before ripping a huge one that knocks out the entire front rows of the arena! He laughs, drags Homer to the center of the ring, and pins him. "1... 2... 3!" The bell rings and Wario's hand is raised. "The winner of the match... WARIOOOOOO!"
WINNER: Wario

The Radio Shows (Apr. 21 - 29.) #1
Falling In Reverse planned to make several radio shows in April 2023, mainly in Florida (Tampa, Orlando and St. Augustine), later added venues in NC (Myrtle Beach), PA (Stroudsburg) and MO (Springfield), and more.
The first FIR show was held in Tampa (4/21) at 98ROCKFEST, with an amazingly dinamic, full of energy stage presence from the band.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Zombified" at 98ROCKFEST:

Even a nice interview was made with Ronnie Radke and Luke Holland before the 98ROCKFEST show:
youtube
Unfortunately Ronnie suffered a vocal strain after the Tampa show, due to the cold temperature of Amalie Arena. FIR had to cancel the next day's show in Orlando, then St. Augustine show too on 23rd.
Tumblr media
After a few days of rest, Ronnie risked to perfom on April 25th in Myrtle Beach, SC, but he was still far from a decent recovery. Further shows have been cancelled later, in total 6. (See next post.)

The Simpsons Ultimate Showdown!
Round 1: HANK SCORPIO VS BUMBLEBEE MAN
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hank Scorpio TidBit: According to the wiki, "The entire Hammock Complex routine was heavily ad-libbed by Albert Brooks, which also explained why Homer was unable to follow Hank Scorpio during the routine and only catch up at the end."
Bumblebee Man TidBit: In the Japanese version of the show, Bumblebee Man is completely untouched, with Hank Azaria's performance intact.

"You go squish now!" At the bell, Homer charged at Tatsumaki, who floated out of the way with little effort... but much annoyance.
Tumblr media
"...Now you die." After that, it was pretty much a one-sided show of Tatsumaki telekinetically throwing Homer around, slamming him, and flinging various objects around the arena at him until Homer was good and knocked out. At that moment, Tatsu floated down and covered him for the win. 1... 2... 3!
"The winner of the match... Tornado of Terror!"

WOLF PACK GET PETAN PP BLAST TO BEAT PENGUINS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
By: Alex Thomas, Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT – On Friday night, Nic Petan broke a 2-2 tie with a five-on-three powerplay blast in the third period. The goal stood as the game-winner as the Wolf Pack defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 3-2 on Fan Appreciation Night at the XL Center in front of over 6,900 fans. Two quick slashing calls on the Penguins gave Hartford 65 seconds of five-on-three time at the 12:59 mark of the third period. Petan ripped a one-timer by Joel Blomqvist for his 15th goal of the season to give the Wolf Pack the lead for good. Nikolas Brouillard picked up the second of two points (1 g, 1 a) on the night with an assist on the goal, while Brett Berard's secondary helper was his second of the night. The Wolf Pack controlled the pace of play in the first period, outshooting the Penguins by a 12-3 margin. Each side also hit a goal post, as Case McCarthy struck the iron for the Wolf Pack before Matt Filipe countered for the visitors. A late push from the Wolf Pack in the second period led to the icebreaker, as Bryan Yoon roofed his first goal at the XL Center at 17:26 to make it 1-0. Bobby Trivigno wired a shot high off Blomqvist, who surrendered a rebound to his left. Yoon collected the loose puck and snapped it with the netminder's glove for the second goal of his AHL career. The Pack extended their lead 43 seconds into the third period as Petan found a pinching Brouillard. Brouillard sniped his fifth tally of the season over the glove of Blomqvist to make it 2-0 Wolf Pack. Alex Belzile picked up his 31st assist and team-leading 50th point of the season on the goal. The Penguins pushed back, however, tying the game with two goals in just 39 seconds. Jack Rathbone made an excellent play in the slot, waiting out a Wolf Pack defender before breaking Louis Domingue's shutout bid at 7:58 to give the visitors some life. Austin Rueschhoff then evened the game as he muscled his way to the blue paint before stuffing home a rebound to make it a 2-2 hockey game. The club's timely five-on-three goal at 13:22 of the third period would be the difference, as the Pack's answer was too much for the Penguins. The victory was the Wolf Pack's second in a row against the Penguins, as the sides split the season series with three wins each. The home team went 6-0-0-0 in the head-to-head matchup. Thanks to the victory, the Wolf Pack now have an eleven-game (9-0-1-1) point streak at home against the Penguins. Hartford concludes the 2023-24 regular season with road games against regional rivals. Tomorrow night, the Pack heads north to the MassMutual Center to take on the Springfield Thunderbirds. The puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m., and coverage will be available on both AHLTV and Mixlr.
