As you looked over all of the makeup you had set out on the counter, making sure you had brought everything, Wooyoung watched you with an adoring and excited smile.
He knew you would say yes to helping him with his makeup for the party. And the excitement you showed only made him even happier that he asked.
The makeup he wanted wasn't complicated, just the basic dead, pale zombie style, with a few of your own personal touches thrown in. When you asked why he wanted your help rather than just doing it himself, he said that he would make it look bad.
You didn't necessarily disagree with this, so you decided you would help him.
Truthfully, Wooyoung was going to do it himself, he didn't mind how it looked all that much. But he wanted an excuse to be around you.
With how busy he had gotten, he hadn't been able to spend as much time with you as either of you wanted. And Wooyoung was getting...needy.
"Okay, ready?" You asked as you looked over at him.
He smiled and nodded, doing as you instructed as you began to prep his face.
You were fully aware of how Wooyoung's eyes never left your face. You also noticed the smirks he gave you when you got particularly close to him, and how his hands would gently hold of touch your legs or waist.
He was always like this with you, so it didn't feel particularly new. However, as time went on Wooyoung began making your job a lot more difficult.
Leaning close to apply vein-like details around his eye, Wooyoung took the opportunity to strike.
The second you looked away from him to grab something he smirked knowingly. As you looked back, you felt his lips press against yours, catching you off guard.
You blinked in surprise as he grinned proudly. You let out a soft laugh and shook your head a bit before continuing with his makeup.
You mistakenly expected it to be a one-time thing, but before you could even finish one detail of his makeup, he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the side of your mouth.
"Wooyoung." You grumbled as you tried not to ruin the makeup.
He giggled softly, which you had to admit, made your heart flutter.
"What? I can't kiss my partner?"
"You can, just not when I'm trying to do your makeup."
He pouted, "That's no fun."
The third time, you saw it coming. You saw the way his eyes flicked to your lips, then to your hands. The second he moved, you stood up making him almost lose his balance as he collided with nothing but air rather than your face.
He met your eyes and saw the smirk on your face as he pouted dramatically.
"Heyy!."
"What?" You asked innocently, making him laugh in frustration.
The fourth time, you caught him again, but this time, by placing your hand to stop him.
"Hold still."
He groaned and stomped his feet a bit, "Y/nnnn"
"Wooyouuung" You mocked his tone. "Unless you want to look like a Nosferatu reject, let me finish." You chuckled.
As you began applying makeup to his lips, he kept pulling away with fits of giggles. "It tickles!"
You laughed but grabbed his chin to keep him close to you. "I said hold still."
You saw the spark in his eye as you did this, but ignored it.
Making the mistake of looking away to get more product, you shouldn't have been surprised when you felt his lips smash into yours when you looked back.
Instead of a quick peck however, his hand cupped your chin as he kissed you deeply.
When he pulled away with a grin, you immediately saw the smeared makeup and groaned, knowing you would now not only have to fix it, but remove the makeup from your face as well.
He laughed at the sight of makeup on our lips, once again proud of his actions, as you smacked his arm playfully.
"I'm never helping you with your makeup again."
"Aww, come on!" He said happily as he pulled you towards him, making you sit in his lap.
You tried to glare at him, but the pull of your lips was too obvious as he giggled, pressing a kiss to your cheek and wrapping his arms around your waist.
"You can't escape now!"
"Well then I guess you are going to the party like this."
You showed him his face in a small mirror and he laughed, seeing just how much he smeared his makeup.
"You can fix it like this can't you?" He asked with a twinkle in his eye as he squeezed you softly, not wanting you to move.
You rolled your eyes but grinned, feeling butterflies at his need for playful affection.
"Fine, but I swear to G-'"
"I'll be good." He cut you off with a grin you didn't believe for a second.
"Mhhmm, you better."
"Or what?" He challenged and you glared playfully at him.
"Or else I'll apply the rest of your makeup with permanent marker."
He laughed at your threat, watching you lovingly as you finished applying his makeup.
"You know I asked you to do this so I could spend time with you right?"
You grinned as you nodded, "Yes, I know. That's why I agreed to it too."
He grinned and leaned forward but you caught his eye with a small "Tsk".
He pressed his lips into a thin line and you couldn't repress a chuckle. Leaning forward, you pressed a soft and fast kiss to his lips, hoping the makeup had dried enough to not transfer.
Wooyoung grinned at the action as his hands squeezed your waist in delight. Looking over at the makeup, his eyes lit up as he got an idea.
"Can I do your makeup?"
"Absolutely not."
"Aww, why?"
"One, it will never get done because you won't stop trying to kiss me. And two, you have no idea how to do it, I'll end up looking like some Ronald McDonald rip-off."
He frowned, wanting to argue, but decided against it, knowing you were probably right.
"Fine." He sighed, admitting defeat.
You smiled at his tone as you set your brush down. "Done!"
He grinned happily as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"I knew you'd do a great job!" He said cheerfully, before he looked back at you with a more serious gaze.
"What?"
Leaning closer he whispered. "Hold still."
The seriousness of his tone caught you off guard as you froze. He hooked his fingers under your chin and pressed a kiss to your lips. He made sure not to give into his desire fully, not wanting to ruin your work again.
Pulling away, you saw a familiar twinkle in his eyes that made your stomach swirl. He swiped his thumb over your lips to get rid of any color that transferred.
He met your eyes and hummed. "I'm tempted to blow the party off."
You let out a soft laugh "And let all my hard work go to waste?" You shook your head and he chuckled.
"Fine, but you're all mine when we get home alright?"
You laughed as you nodded your head, "Deal."

Corn Maze
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Plot: You and Han get lost in a corn maze after losing a bet. Should be fine right? But wait...did that scarecrow just move?
Pairing: Han Jisung x Gn!Reader
Prompt: "If you say we should split up I will kill you." + "Wasn't that scarecrow facing the other way before?" Requested by: @tumbleboof
Warnings: Nothing, just some kind of creepy stuff.
Words: 1.06k
Tumblr media
You could feel the pit in your stomach growing as you stared at the entrance of the corn-maze. Han stood beside you with a look of despair, as the others snickered and teased you from behind.
"Well? Are you going or not?" Minho asked with a snarky voice before you looked back and glared at him.
He glared playfully back at you before you and Han locked eyes.
"Yeah yeah, let's get this over with."
You followed Han into the maze as the others yelled out various encouragement and parting farewells.
After a full day of games and various bets, you and Han were the losing team. Your forfeit was having to make it through the creepy corn maze in thirty minutes or less, or the two of you would be paying for everyone's dinner.
It wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for the biting chill in the air, not to mention the darkening sky above you.
"Why did we have to do this when it's starting to get dark?" You asked as you gazed up at the dark blue sky.
Han mumbled, "So it's scarier."
"It's already creepy enough" You replied as you peered through the corn on either side of you.
Reaching back, Han took your hand in his. Whether it was to comfort you or him, you didn't know, but you also didn't care, you'd take whatever comfort you could get.
The soft wind that blew through the corn made it shake and rattle around you. Often times you thought you heard footsteps, but there was never anyone around.
In the distance you could sometimes hear Changbin or Lee Know yell out, as they obviously had fun in the nearby field as they waited for the two of you on the other side.
You weren't sure how long had passed as you and Han came to a path that lead two directions.
"Does it count if one of us makes it out in the thirty minutes?" Han mumbled as he glance over at you.
"If you say we should split up I will kill you."
He let out a sharp breathy laugh. "Okay, okay, no splitting up. But which way should we go?"
You hummed. "I can her their voices from that direction, so maybe the path that's closer?"
Han nodded, "Sounds good."
As you made your way down the path, you hoped it wouldn't be too long before you made it out. The atmosphere only became creepier as the sky grew darker. You knew Han could feel it too as his hand seemed to tighten around yours and the two of you started to walk a little faster.
"How big is this thing anyway?" You asked in frustration as you and Han ran into another dead end.
Han turned and began jumping up and down, trying to peer over the corn.
He groaned, "The corn is too tall."
You smirked as you turned and began heading back the way you came, "No, you're just too short."
"Hey!" He yelled in surprise as he chased after you, making you laugh.
"Oh God" Your voice cut off your amused giggles as you and Han rounded another corner, revealing the tall Scarecrow you knew to be in the middle of the maze.
"I didn't realize how creepy it was before."
You and Han stared at the sunken faced scarecrow. It had no eyes, but indents where they would be.
Han shivered dramatically before he looked around. "Okay so...the scarecrow was facing the entrance right?"
You nodded as you kept your eye on the scarecrow, feeling as though it was looking back at you.
"Which means we need to go this way!" Han yelled in triumph as he grabbed your hand and pulled you along.
After a few more turns and some brief arguing as to which way to go, you looked back towards the maze and did a quick double take as you saw movement. You felt goosebumps rise up your arms as you realized the scarecrow was now facing you.
"Han."
"Yeah?"
"Wasn't that scarecrow facing the other way?"
Han looked at it and let out a shiver, "Don't try and scare me!"
You met his eyes and his face fell. "I'm not. I'm serious, it was facing the other way."
Han looked back at the scarecrow was he replayed your steps and moment in his head. He just shook his head.
"It couldn't have, we're just all turned around. Come on let's go, just don't look at it again."
You spared the scarecrow one more glance as the pit in your stomach grew.
Hearing the voices of the other's getting louder you and Han rapidly rounded a few more corners before finally finding the exit. You both ran out in glee and relief as you were met with cheers and applause.
"Only ten minutes too slow! Looks like you're paying for dinner after all!" Chris laughed and you and Han groaned.
"At this point I don't care, I'm just glad to be out of there." You mumbled.
"Why did you guys move the scarecrow?" Felix asked and your breath hitched. You felt Han freeze beside you.
"What?"
"Yeah, it was weird, the scarecrow started rotating, it was creepy." Hyunjin laughed. "Why did you guys do that?"
"Shut up, that was you guys!" Han said with an accusing tone and the others all looking between each other.
"None of us have gone in the maze? We're all here, we were waiting." Seungmin said with a hint of amusement, but you could also hear the discomfort.
You and Han locked eyes and you smacked his arm. "I told you it moved! I knew it had been facing the other way!"
You looked at the others and they could sense your obvious fear. Looking back at the scarecrow only to see it now facing all of you, when it had previously been looking away, you felt the moment everyone held their breath in realization.
"Wait!" I.N started to stutter out "But- wasn't it just-"
Changbin let out a startled yell. "No! Nope, I'm leaving!"
His loud voice echoed as he turned and began moving towards the car park, with all of you following closely behind.
Whether it was a stranger in the corn maze just wishing to scare you, or something else entirely, you had no intention of finding out.

An Unexpected Meeting
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Plot: Who knew getting lost in a haunted house would introduce you to a cute stranger whose just as scared as you are.
Pairing: Hansol Vernon Chwe x Gn!Reader
Prompts: 'Getting lost in a haunted house and running into a stranger who is also lost.' + 'A grabs B’s hand instinctively out of surprise or fear, and continues to hold it.'
Requested By: @lieutenantn
Warnings: Nothing I can think of :)
Words: 1.3k
Tumblr media
You continuously reminded yourself to keep breathing as you slowly crept through the haunted house. You tried to listen out for your friends' voices to find where they had gone, but the ambient noise, screams, and various sounds surrounding you made it near impossible.
Sighing, you cursed yourself again for getting distracted and letting your friends wander off without telling them you had stopped. Maybe it would have been better if you had just left your shoes untied, at least you might not be alone.
You wondered if they even noticed you were gone yet. Some parts of the haunted house were so dark you couldn't tell how many people were around you at any given moment.
Gasping you turned to face the wall as arms burst through the walls and reached for you. You quickly dodged the rest of them before running into the next room. You took in a few deep breaths before slowly continuing on.
Rounding a corner, you collided with someone and yelped in surprise, only to hear a yell of alarm from them.
Through your fear, you looked at what you assumed had been a scare actor, only to meet the eyes of another man. Dressed casually, he was attractive, tall, and clearly just as freaked out as you.
You stared at each other in alarmed silence for a moment before you both straightened up.
You let out an awkward laugh, "Sorry!"
He shook his head, equally as amused now that he had calmed down. "It's okay! I ran into you too."
Looking around him, you saw that he was alone and you frowned. "Are you alone?"
He sighed and nodded his head, "I lost my friends."
"Me too!" You responded ecstatically.
He laughed, "Seriously?"
You nodded in amusement, "I made the mistake of not telling them I stopped to tie my shoes. By the time I was done, poof, they were gone."
He laughed and you couldn't help the butterflies that suddenly appeared. You were surprised at how easily you were talking to the stranger. Maybe scaring the life out of each other worked as an icebreaker.
He cleared his throat. "I think mine may have left me behind on purpose."
"What? Why?"
"I lost a game earlier and they've been trying to think of some way to punish me. This might have been it."
You tried to stifle a laugh before you cleared your throat. "That's messed up. Funny, but messed up."
He chuckled as he seemed to eye you, making you feel even more nervous. He looked down the hall ahead of you and then back to you.
"Uh, do you maybe want to go together then? Might be better than being alone."
You could sense the trepidation in his voice and you wondered if maybe he was feeling those nervous butterflies too.
You smiled and nodded your head, "Yeah, sure!"
As the two of you started making your way trough the haunted house together, you introduced yourselves. Vernon, as he preferred to be called, was just as jumpy as you, which made the whole situation more fun, if not more pathetic.
In between the various scares, you learned a little about each other, and you couldn't help but feel like you were on an unusual blind date.
You would sometimes try to look over at him, unable to help it, seeing as you found him quite attractive. But more than once, you seemed to find him already looking at you.
There was definitely something sparking between you, but you weren't sure what to do about it. The situation was more than unusual. Running into a stranger alone in a haunted house was not the normal start to a love story. But hey, maybe it would make for an interesting one at least.
Entering into a foggy, dark room the two of you slowed and seemed to mutually hold your breath. The room seemed like an obvious trap for a jump scare. But as you walked through it safely, you both met eyes for a moment, mutually surprised.
Just then, a loud scream pierced the air as hands burst through the ceiling and walls towards you.
You yelped as Vernon yelled. Grabbing your hand he pulled you along with him, before you both let out heavy breaths when you made it to another hallway.
You groaned in exhaustion and Vernon let out a soft, mutually exhausted chuckle.
You noticed he was still holding your hand, and you felt your face burn hotter. As you continued walking, you wondered why he wasn't letting go. Did he grab your hand out of pure instinct and didn't realize? Should you point it out? Or would that make it awkward?
Honestly, you didn't mind it.
As another scare made you both jump, you found his hand to be a source of comfort, so you decided not to mention it. Not until he did. You could play it off then if needed.
Vernon looked at a large painted glass window before he looked back over at you, "I think we're near the end. I saw that window from the outside, it was by the exit."
You nodded and let out a sigh of relief as the two of you cautiously entered the next room. It was dark and covered in draped plastic sheets. Fog floated through the room as the sound of scraping metal and distant breathing could be heard.
As you walked past an old bed, someone sprung out from underneath and grabbed at yours and Vernon's ankles.
You both screamed as you leapt away, watching as the bloody person crawled out of the door rapidly. Leaving you and Vernon gawking after him with fear covered faces.
You looked over at Vernon, and you both realized the two of you were gripping onto each other out of alarm. Tension seemed to spark between the two of you before you shyly chuckled and stepped away. He smiled almost bashfully as he finally realized he was still holding your hand.
He let go, though reluctantly, as he scratched his head. "Sorry."
"It's okay." You softly laughed.
Looking out of the room, you saw an exit sign and sighed. As relieved as you were to be done with the haunted house, you couldn't help the disappointment those rose with the idea of parting ways with Vernon. Maybe he'd ask for your number? Maybe you could ask for his?
As the two of you made your way out of the haunted house, you were immediately met with a loud chorus of voices mixed with cheers and laughter.
You saw your friends, mingling with a group of guys you didn't know. You quickly realized they were Vernon's friends as they pointed and cackled at him.
"There you are!" One of your friends called out.
"They ended up together!" One of the boys yelled, amused.
Your friends ran over to you, one hugging you, "I'm sorry we didn't realize you got lost!"
You chuckled before explaining to them you had stopped to tie your shoes.
"Well at least you had company it looks like."
You looked over at Vernon, who smiled as his friends were clearly making fun of him.
"I did!" You said with amusement.
You missed the way the boys eyed Vernon and you, as Vernon seemed to continuously look over at you.
After some small talk between all of you, in which Vernon casually ended up at your side. Something that was not overlooked by his friends.
"I got an idea!" A tall man with a bright smile clapped. "How about we all go get some food!" He gestured to all of you and you looked between each other as most everyone nodded approvingly.
A chorus of agreement followed as everyone started talking animatedly, discussing where to go as if everyone had known each other for ages.
You let out a soft almost bewildered laugh at the sight, as you looked over at Vernon who looked at you with an equally amused grin. You smiled brightly at each other, not noticing the various smirks directed at the two of you.
Maybe this really was the beginning of something great. New friendships? Love? You didn't know, but you were looking forward to finding out.
xx End xx

Haunted
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Plot: You swear your new house is haunted, but Hongjoong doesn't believe you. So you make him sleep over to prove a point
Pairing: Kim Hongjoong x Gn!Reader (established relationship)
Request: “I’m telling you, I’m haunted.” Requested By: @yourfatherlucifer
Warnings: General creepy ghost stuff. Suggestive Content (kissing) but only for a moment.
Words: ~2.1k
Tumblr media
You were humming to yourself as you unpacked various dishes and cooking utensils. It was the first time you were alone in your new place after moving all of your stuff over the last few days.
The bed finally arrived, so you would be staying your first night as well. The house was eerily quiet, and you had an odd feeling in your gut whenever you were alone. But you convinced yourself it was just because it was a new place. You weren't used to it yet, it didn't quite feel like yours yet.
You had been lucky when finding the place at all. Your last landlord didn't allow you to renew your lease due to them selling the building, so you panicked trying to find somewhere to live.
This place came up on your search, and you were surprised no one had snatched it up yet. The rent was reasonable, and the house itself was roomy and nicely built. It was a bit old, but had been remodeled. The landlord had a few houses for rent, but this one was by far the best price.
You thought it was a bit odd, but the landlord seemed pleasant enough, so you didn't question it much, you just felt too relieved too. But as the night would go on, you would start to regret not asking more questions.
Staring down the dimly lit hallway, where you swear you had just heard someone speak, you listened intently. Slowly, you tip toed down the hall, before peering into the rooms. Seeing and hearing nothing, you let out a soft hum of confusion.
Maybe it was just a neighbor, maybe the house isn't soundproofed very well.
It was an excuse that comforted you. Until other things began to happen.
A door that you swore you closed was suddenly open. The light in the living room flickering any time you entered the room. The sound of footsteps when you knew there was no one else in the house.
The most frightening thing to happen though, was when you were putting your stuff away in the bathroom. As you set your toothbrush holder on the counter, your eye caught on something in the mirror. From the corner of your eye, a black figure was standing in the room across the hall behind you.
You gasped as you spun around, only to be left dumbfounded when the room was empty. Without thinking you ran into the room and looked around, half-expecting someone to be there. But when there was no sign of anything or anyone, your heart pounded painfully in your chest.
Walking back into the bathroom, you looked in the mirror, before trying to recreate how you had seen the reflection. Maybe it was just a shadow, or a trick of the light.
No matter how many times you tried, you couldn't seem to see the same thing you had before.
You were officially unsettled, but you tried your best to stay calm. Texting Hongjoong about when he was coming over you hoped he could help you figure out what to do.
What you should have expected however, was not Hongjoong comforting you, but teasing you.
Hongjoong chuckle after you recounted the various things that had been happening.
"You're getting too worked up! It's only because you aren't used to this place yet, and it's still pretty empty so it makes sense that it feels off."
"But I swear I saw someone! And what about the footsteps?"
"It's an old house! Its just the old floorboards."
"The whole place was remodeled, it shouldn't be making those noises."
He grabbed your face as he stared into your eyes. "The house is not haunted, you are just a chicken."
You smacked him on the chest and he laughed before he pulled you into his arms as you leaned back on the couch.
"I'm kidding! But I promise it's not what you think! Its just your overactive imagination."
Even with Hongjoong's confident skepticism, you were still unsettled.
"Can you stay tonight? Until I feel better about this place?"
Hongjoong smiled as he peered down at you. "Hmm? You just want me all to yourself huh? You could have just asked, no need to make up ghost stories."
You pulled away from him as you pouted angrily at him, "I'm not making it up!"
He chuckled before grabbing your face and kissing you. "I'm sorry, I'm just teasing."
You glared at him before you got up, playing your own game.
"It's fine, you don't have to stay."
Hongjoong quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you back to the couch and into his arms.
"Baby!" He whined, "I was just kidding."
You repressed a smile as he started pressing kisses to your face. "I'll stay with you as long as you want me too."
You met his eyes and he pouted. You gave in as a small smile crossed your face. "Promise?"
He nodded, "Yes, I promise."
"Good." You smiled as you hugged him, making him chuckle.
Grabbing your face, he kissed you again, but this time you reciprocated. The kisses were slow and soft, as you held onto each other, getting lost in yourselves.
Just as Hongjoong started pulling at your clothes, a loud bang from down the hall made you both jump in shock.
You and Hongjoong stared at each other for a moment before he rose and slowly walked down the hall.
You watched with bated breath until he came back and smile softly at you. "A box fell over."
"How?" You asked with piqued confusion.
He shrugged nonchalantly, "Was probably not on the table fully."
You knitted your brow and he chuckled as if reading your mind, "It wasn't ghosts!"
"You don't know that." You mumbled and he sighed dramatically before plopping down on the couch again.
He hugged you close to him, "I'm sure it was really nothing okay?"
You met his eyes and he smiled, making you feel a bit better.
He pressed a soft kiss to your lips before smirking. "Now where were we?"
A few hours later as you and Hongjoong were getting ready to go to bed, you had begun to relax. Nothing had happened since the box fell over, and you were starting to take Hongjoong's words as reality.
Until, your eyes caught on a shadow in the hall. You watched it until it slowly disappeared around the corner.
You called out in curiosity. "What are you doing Joon?"
"What?" You heard Hongjoong's voice call out, from the opposite side of the house.
You froze, your heart racing as you realized it had not been him. You swallowed before slowly walking to the door. You peered down the hall where the shadow had come from before running to the kitchen where you had heard Hongjoong's voice.
When you appeared in obvious distress Hongjoong was quick to approach you. When you told him what happened, he told you to stay in the kitchen before he walked back towards the bedroom.
You stood impatiently as you twiddled with your hands, looking around for something heavy in case it was a thief.
Hearing footsteps a few minutes later, you watched as Hongjoong came back with a furrowed brow.
He shook his head. "There's nothing in the house."
You groaned, "Then what was it!"
"Maybe someone passing by outside. Let's make sure all the windows and doors are locked."
You nodded as you did as he said, checking everything thoroughly. Your mind raced as you wondered which would be less frightening. Someone outside the house, or some thing inside.
As you finally lied down in bed, Hongjoong could see your mind racing as you stared at the ceiling.
Facing you, he gently stroked your cheek. "Baby."
"Hongjoong. I'm telling you, I'm haunted."
He almost laughed but repressed it. "You are not haunted."
"Fine. The house is haunted."
He let out a soft laugh this time before he pulled you into his arms. "The house isn't haunted either. You're just scared."
As he cradled you in his arms for a while, you were gently lulled to sleep, though a nervous tension sat in your chest, and even though he wouldn't admit it, Hongjoong was feeling it too.
As Hongjoong's eyes fluttered open, he tried to figure out what had woken him. Glancing at his phone, he noted it was nearly two in the morning.
Turning over, he noticed you were no longer in the bed and something in his stomach twisted.
Sitting up, he heard a soft creak in the hall. His eyes moved to the bottom of the door, where he saw the subtle movement of a shadow underneath. He frowned as he climbed out of bed and towards the door.
As he pulled the door open, he saw your figure move around the corner of the hall and into the living room.
"Baby?" He called out softly, not wanting to scare you.
When you didn't reply he followed after you, worried something had happened. Did you hear something again? Could you not sleep?
As he rounded the corner, he felt his heart jolt as the house was empty. Looking into the kitchen, you were nowhere in sight. He walked to the front door, seeing it was still locked.
Feeling uneasy, he was about to call out for you when your voice came from the hall, "Hongjoong?"
His eyes darted towards the bedroom, and he rushed to the hall, spotting you peering from the bedroom with a confused look.
"What are you doing?" You asked softly.
He stared at you for a moment as he tried to figure out what happened.
"How did you do that?" He asked dumbfounded as he walked back to you.
"Do what?"
As he explained what happened, your expression slowly became more scared, only making him freak out more.
You shook your head. "I was in the bathroom, I didn't come out here."
He swallowed, as his chest grew tight and his heart pounded. Had you been right? Was there really something in this house?
"I told you!" You said with a forceful whisper.
He shook his head, "No, there's gotta be an explanation."
As Hongjoong walked around the house turning on the lights and checking everything you watched him in silence.
When he found nothing he sighed and you shook your head. "What were you hoping to find exactly?"
He sighed as he rubbed his face, "I don't know."
The moment of silence between you was suddenly filled with the sound of the door at the end of the hall creaking open. You and Hongjoong stared at it with silent shock.
Slowly, you reached out and grabbed his wrist in fear as you both held your breath.
In the dark room, you could just make out what appeared to be a person standing in the darkness.
"Hongjoong?"
The voice that called out from the room was your own, or at least an echo of it. Ice ran through your veins as you felt your breath hitch.
"Y/n?"
It was Hongjoong's voice this time, calling out your name, as the figure took a step closer to the door, a creaking floorboard announcing its movement.
Suddenly, Hongjoong grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the front door. No words were spoken as he grabbed his keys and pulled you out of the house. You ran to the car with no other thought than escape.
You didn't know who or what that was lingering in the darkness and there was no way you were going to find out.
It wasn't until you and Hongjoong were heading down the street that you seemed to find your words.
"What the fuck was that!" You said with an exasperated fear.
Hongjoong shook his head as his hands shook with adrenaline and fear.
Reaching over he took your hand. "I don't know, but you are not going back to that house, not alone, and not until it's daytime. We need to find out what the fuck is going on."
You sighed as you leaned your head back, letting the adrenaline and fear course through you.
"My landlord has some explaining to do. There is no way in hell they didn't know something was wrong with that house."
Hongjoong nodded his head as his mind raced. "You're staying with me until we figure this out okay?"
You nodded your head as you squeezed his hand, grateful that he had been with you tonight.
After a few tense moments passed, you peeked over at him.
"Is it too soon to say 'I told you so'?"

Hotel For Ghosts

Plot: When the hotel booked for the band ends up cancelling yours and Jongho's rooms, you have to make due at a nearby hotel. Too bad it's haunted as fuck.
Pairing: Choi Jongho x Gn!Reader
Prompts: "If you get scared you can hold onto me." "Oh you'd love that wouldn't you?" "Very much." + 'You're in a hotel with doubles beds, you keep hearing scary noises and end up in the same bed.' Requested By: @lieutenantn
A/n: I know this is a similar plot as Sans fic, but I tried my best to make it different.
Warnings: Just some creepy ghost stuff, but nothing specific.

Tumblr media
Exhaustion was slowly taking its toll on you and Jongho as the elevator doors slid open. Dragging your suitcases along with you, little was said between you.
You had no idea the day would end up like this. When the band had arrived at the hotel, you found out you had overbooked. This lead to some of the rooms being unexpectedly canceled. After a lot of apologies, you and Jongho were whisked away to another hotel they had move you too instead.
Entering the hallway, the atmosphere immediately seemed different. And it was obvious enough that you and Jongho paused in your tracks.
The lights were flickering and buzzing and it was eerily silent. You and Jongho shared a brief look before you began walking.
Jongho checked the key number as he glanced at the doors you were passing. "It might be at the very end."
"Great." You said sarcastically as you were feeling uneasy as the lights continued to flicker. "Why is it so creepy?" You added on after a moment.
Jongho shrugged in response, as he glanced back towards the elevator just as the sound of footsteps approached.
You looked back as well but saw no one in the empty hallway. You and Jongho locked eyes as confusion washed over your faces. Silently, you both walked faster down the hall, finally spotting your room.
You continued to eye the empty hall as Jongho fiddled with the key. The hotel was obviously old and not even upgraded to key cards for the doors.
The hotel staff claimed they had only one room available, but you wondered how true that was, as the hotel seemed eerily quiet and empty. You hadn't seen or heard another person after you and Jongho showed up.
"Come on." He hissed softly as the key refused to turn. "Did they give us the wrong key?"
Just as the door clicked, a soft noise almost like a voice caught your attention. The two of you looked down the hall before hearing the sound of footsteps, yet there was still no one around.
Suddenly, the lights started to dim and flicker, before turning off entirely.
You gasped and Jongho made an almost guttural sound as he pushed the door open to your hotel room as the two of you shuffled into the room with silent panic. As he turned on the light, you let out a breath of relief as you were now free from the scary hallway.
Looking into the room you were glad it appeared relatively modern, and clean. As you walked further into the room, you were aware the eerie atmosphere still lingered in the room as well. Uneasiness hung over the two of you.
"What the hell is this place." You muttered as you glanced out the window, unable to see anything in the darkness.
"Haunted" Jongho muttered.
Your eyes snapped over to him and he let out an almost startled laugh. "Sorry, sorry, bad joke." He paused for a moment before adding on. "But this place is totally a hotel for ghosts, I haven't seen a single person since we got here."
You groaned and he laughed again. "Stop" You whined, "This place is so creepy already, don't make it worse!"
He apologized again through soft giggles as the two of you sat on your beds. The tension was lessened a little, but your experience in the hallway still lingered in both your minds.
Hearing a soft knock at the door, you and Jongho shared a brief look before he went to answer. You expected it to be room service or maybe someone saying there was another room available.
You heard the door open, but when no words were said, you stood up and walked over to see what was going on.
What you were not expected, was Jongho staring at a completely empty hallway. The lights in the hallway had turned back on, but there was no one around.
Jongho looked back at you and the fear you were now feeling was written on his face. He closed the door and walked silently back towards you.
"Maybe it was at another door?"
You nodded mutely, wanting to prefer that over any other option passing through your mind.
"Why did we have to end up here of all places? I feel like we're in purgatory or something its just so...off" You shivered dramatically at your own words.
Jongho nodded as he walked back over to his bed. "This place is definitely old too."
You groaned softly as you sat back on your bed before lying down, staring blankly up at the ceiling. "Why do I feel like we aren't gonna get any sleep tonight?"
Jongho peered over at you and smirked. "If you get scared you can hold onto me."
You let out a huff of laughter, there he was. Flirty, teasing Jongho. Even in the midst of a possibly terrifying situation, he never resists the urge to tease you.
"Oh you'd love that wouldn't you?" You retorted.
"Very much." He sighed as he lied down on his bed, the smile obvious in his tone.
You shook your head in annoyance, though his words did fluster you. They always did, and he knew it, much to your further annoyance.
You had known the boys for a couple years now, ever since you started working with them, but you and Jongho were always the closest. You figured you probably had a crush on him, but never focused on it too much, always telling yourself to be nothing more than his friend and colleague.
With all of that, you were glad you were with him now, he could always keep you grounded in the worst, and weirdest situations.
As much as you wished the rest of the night would get better, it only got worse. You were now sitting in Jongho's bed, side by side as you both anxiously stared at his phone as he scrolled through the nearby hotel listings.
The TV played a movie you didn't know, as you hoped the noise would lessen the frightening atmosphere.
Your room proved to be no better than the hallway, if not worse, as the lights started to flicker and odd noises came from various areas of the room. Tapping in the closet, footsteps by the door, the shuttering of the blinds, though there was no wind or a.c. in the room.
But the final straw, was when you had gone to the bathroom. While washing your hands, you felt and heard a loud breath directly in your ear. It made you yelp and run out of the bathroom and right to Jongho.
He calmed you down and as soon as you told him what happened, he pulled out his phone and began searching. He wrapped his arm around you and held you close to him. He could tell there was no way it was in your head with the genuine fear coursing through you.
He hated seeing you so afraid, and he felt as though anything would be better than this.
After panicked texts to the others, who only responded with amusement, thinking you were over-reacting, you gave up on trying to convince them to let you come back to their hotel rooms.
"Is there anything?" You asked and he sighed, "Not yet. There are so many concerts and festivals here that so many places are booked already."
He looked over at you and his gut clenched with guilt, "I'm sorry, we might be stuck here."
He saw your face fall as you let out a sigh.
"Just stay here in the bed with me okay?"
You met his eyes shyly and he smiled.
"Don't worry, I won't tease you. Too much." You rolled your eyes at this, and he chuckled as he squeezed you a little closer. "I just don't want you to be alone if you're this scared."
Ignoring how your heart was hammering in your chest you gazed at him, unaware of how it was making his own heart race.
"Aren't you scared?"
He nodded, "Yes, but I'm more worried about you."
You smiled softly, both touched by his care for you, and flustered by his words. He noticed this as he smiled to himself, you leaned into him a bit as you looked around the room. Things had been a bit quiet since what happened in the bathroom, maybe it would stay quiet.
Jongho squeezed your arm a bit as he spoke, his voice soft and close to your ear. "At least one good thing is coming out of this"
You looked over at him, your faces closer than you were expecting. "What?"
He smiled and tightened his arm around you, almost causing your noses to brush. "This."
The way his words flustered you were obvious on your face, and you pushed him away a bit, "You said you wouldn't tease me!"
He laughed before he pulled you back to him, "Hey, what makes you think I'm not being serious?"
Your eyes locked as tension rose between you, the silence hanging in the air held a million questions you wanted to ask.
But before you could speak, the television suddenly shut off causing you both to look quickly to the TV. The room was now completely silent, but it didn't last long before you heard a creaking sound.
Yours and Jongho's eyes drifted towards the sound as you watched the bathroom door slowly open.
"Jongho" Your voice was almost a whimper and he quickly grabbed his phone and started furiously typing.
He held you close again. "I know, just don't react."
You continued to stare at the darkened bathroom, feeling as though something would happen if you looked away. You could see Jongho out of the corner of your eye searching something on his phone.
After what felt like an eternity of terrifying silence, Jongho sat up.
"There's a hotel almost an hour from here with rooms available."
"Book it." You said quickly and he nodded.
You did not care how far you'd have to drive, as long as it was away from here.
He pulled his arm away from you as he grabbed your hand instead, "Let's go."
Not wasting any time, you both hurried to grab your bags and a few items around the room, panicked silence between you. You glanced at the bathroom a few times in fear, purposefully leaving a few of your items behind with no hesitation.
Finally leaving the room, you nearly jogged to the elevator as the hallway lights greeted you with familiar flickering.
Entering the elevator, you felt relief slowly start to wash over you. Soon you'd be out of this place forever.
Jongho's hand was still tightly holding yours as you leaned into him for comfort.
"There's one thing about the new hotel."
You looked over at him in anticipation. "It better not be haunted."
He let out a soft laugh and shook his head. "No. I only booked one room. That's the requirement for going so far."
You quirked your brow and he smiled, squeezing your hand. "You have to stay with me."
You felt heat rise up your neck and face as you bit the inside of your lip. He never can resist can he?
You nodded with a soft smile as you looked away from him, not wanting him to see just how much he affected you
"I'm okay with that."
He grinned happily as he pulled you close to him. At least something good really did come from this after all.
xx End xx

A/n: This is the final release of my 13 Days of Halloween (masterlist here). Thank you all for the feedback, reblogs, likes, etc!! <3 You'd think the final Halloween post would be more Halloween focused, but it's not lol.
Tumblr media
Minghao checked over his costume in the mirror once more as he let out a deep breath. While the others paced around, making sure enough drinks were prepared, and Mingyu yelled at Hoshi for not buying enough food, Minghao had something much different to worry about.
All week he had been planning. Planning how to act around you, planning what to say, planning what to wear. And it was all taking place tonight. He knew it could all go wrong. Things might not work the way he wanted, but he didn't care, as long as it ended the way he wanted.
With a confession. Hopefully a reciprocated one at that.
Minghao knew he liked you, hell, he might even be in love with you, but what he didn't know, was how to tell you. He tried flirting, but it never came across as genuine. Your friendship was based in part a friendly and teasing relationship. So of course you never really knew if what he was saying was genuine.
He thought he would be okay with it, trying to believe that it would all happen naturally. And it seemed that it was heading that way. Until he showed up.
Ji-Yoo. A sibling of a friend who moved to the city. Minghao had no problem with Ji-Yoo, up until he started to flirt with you, and you took notice. After that, to Minghao, he was an enemy.
This was the catalyst that finally encouraged Minghao to properly confess to you. So, he made the plan.
Step One, steal your costume idea.
You had told him all about what you were going to dress up as. Minghao chuckled as you told him of your Tim Burton inspired outfit and makeup, all the while he made sure to buy everything he needed to match with you. That way, you would appear as a couple at the party.
Step two, keep Ji-Yoo away from you.
Make sure Ji-Yoo had no opportunity to try and win you over or sway you. Be a nuisance around him, so he cannot stand being around the two of you.
Step three, flirt.
Flirt in ways you weren't used to. Flirt in front of people you know and don't know. Especially in front of Ji-Yoo.
Step four, confess.
He didn't know exactly when he was going to confess. He hoped to get you alone at some point in the night, but he realized that might prove difficult.
He had to admit, it wasn't the most detailed plan, but it was a start. His chest was tight as he let out a few deep breaths as a few people showed up for the party. Minghao kept watch at the door, intending to answer when you arrived.
When he caught sight of your fully skelefied costume through the window, he grinned as he walked to the door, waiting for you to knock.
As he pulled the door open, your familiar voice called out, making Minghao grin.
"Trick or Treat!?"
Minghao eyed you up and down as he smirked “…Depends on if you’re the treat or not.”
You rolled your eyes softly, "You wish."
'I do.' He thought to himself as he smirked, as he saw you look over his costume, realization crossing your features.
You stepped up to him, "Wha-"
He rose his brow, feigning innocence. "What?"
"Did you match my costume on purpose?" You accused.
Grabbing your wrist, he gently lead you inside as you gawked at him.
"Seriously Minghao! You knew this was my costume, now it's gonna look like we're wearing a couples costume!"
He smiled at you and you felt your stomach swirl. "What's so wrong with that?"
You were a bit stunned, and you thought you saw something beneath the teasing gaze, something more genuine. Before you could respond, you heard your voice called by an excited and already buzzed Hoshi.
He grabbed your wrist and started rambling about how Mingyu was angry at him, before he pulled you off towards the kitchen. Minghao tried to grab your hand to pull you away, but Hoshi won as you disappeared into the kitchen.
Minghao let out a frustrated groan. Apparently he should have added 'keep everyone away from you' to his plan.
You ended up mingling with the others in the kitchen for a while, but your thoughts continued to stray to Minghao. Something about the way he looked at you, and the way he was acting was different than normal.
When he came into the kitchen a few minutes after you did, he seemed to glare at the others who held your attention. A few times it seemed as though he was tying to get your attention, or steal you away from the others, but he failed, and he only seemed to grow more annoyed each time.
The thoughts of why he might be acting like this made you nervous.
You had realized quite a while ago, that your feelings for Minghao had changed. You didn't just look at him as a friend, or even your best-friend, he was Minghao, the man who made your heart flutter. The man who made you feel safe and loved. The man who unabashedly and unknowingly held your heart in his hands.
But you had no doubt in your mind that he did not feel the same. It hurt, but you accepted it. And you tried to move on from it. But now you weren't so sure if you should have moved on at all.
At some point, the kitchen became so crowded, you made your way out and into the living room. You hadn't gotten far when you were approached by someone in a werewolf mask. When removed, you were met with Ji-Yoo's beaming smile.
You smiled and greeted him, aware that you were now going to be bombarded with flirtatious comments that you would have to not so skillfully play-off.
Ji-Yoo was sweet and attractive, and would be what you would consider your type a few years ago. But now, no one was good enough. Because none of them were Minghao.
When Minghao noticed you had vanished from the kitchen, he quickly made his way to find you. He had lost more time than he wanted, he needed to make up for it.
When he did spot you in the living room, he smiled naturally at the sight of you, before he noticed who it was who had your attention.
He flared his nostrils with an annoyed sigh as he made his way towards the two of you. When he heard your giggle meet his ears, he felt jealousy rise in his chest.
Minghao not-so-subtly inserted himself into your conversation as he slid in beside you, his shoulder pressing against you as he grinned at you, announcing his presence.
Ji-Yoo's smile faltered as he appeared, and Minghao simply smiled at him, smacking his shoulder and giving him an disingenuous greeting.
He saw Ji-Yoo look down at your matching costumes and smirked proudly.
You did not fail to notice Minghao's sudden brazen behavior, or the fake smile plastered on his face. You knew it well enough to spot a mile away.
You were shocked to see him acting this way towards someone you thought he considered a friend. You couldn't help but wonder if maybe he was jealous. But you tried not to linger on the thought too long. You didn't want to over-think yourself into a false sense of confidence, only to be brokenhearted later.
It didn't take long before you were unable to take any more of Ji-Yoo and Minghao's weird behavior. They eyed each other as if enemies and seemed to try and one up each other in every conversation. They spoke as if they were friends, but the passive aggression and sarcasm made the air around you thick with tension.
To say it got annoying was an understatement. You didn't know what their problem with each other was, but you had figured Minghao didn't want you to be friends with him for whatever reason.
Spotting another friend of yours, you decided to exit the conversation, much to Minghao and Ji-Yoo's surprise and disappointment.
You managed to avoid both Minghao and Ji-Yoo for the rest of the party as you did not want to get caught in the middle of their problems again. Even though -unbeknownst to you at this moment- you were the problem.
Relief filled you when you saw Ji-Yoo leave the party. Now it was just you and the boys, lingering in the now-emptied, yet trashed house.
Minghao noticed you from across the room when you entered and you saw relief wash over his face.
As he approached you, he smiled, "I thought you had left."
You shook your head, "I was gonna help clean up."
Hoshi groaned from the couch, "I'm too hungry to clean."
"Well you wouldn't be hungry if you had brought food to the party like you were supposed to!" Seungcheol's voice called from the kitchen and you chucked.
Hoshi hissed under his breath before he responded. "I did bring food!"
"You brought three bags of chips and some beer!" Mingyu yelled back and Hoshi pouted.
You chuckled at them before you realized you were hungry yourself. "I'm up for a store run if you want Hoshi."
He looked over at you with bright happy eyes and you knew his answer.
"I'll come!" Minghao glared over at Jun and Joshua, who spoke at the same time as him.
Minghao had failed his mission to spend the party with you. He let his annoyance at Ji-Yoo chase you away, and he knew he messed up. He noticed you avoiding Ji-Yoo and felt ecstatic about it. Up until he realized you were avoiding him too.
He messed it all up and he knew it. He was hoping a walk with you would help, but now, as he walked beside you, the loud voices of Jun, Joshua, Jeonghan, Dino and Mingyu echoed down the street as you all made your way to the store.
The silence that had been lingering between you and Minghao was broken when a loud crash in the dark street nearby made you gasp and flinch.
Minghao laughed at your reaction, ignoring the fact that his own heart jolted in surprise.
You glared over at him playfully before chuckling.
As the others had gotten quite a ways ahead of you, Minghao thought that now might be his opportunity. He watched you as you eyed the dark streets around you, now on edge.
Minghao gasped in your ear and you yelped in surprise, making him laugh.
"Minghao!" You yelled as you smacked his shoulder, only making him laugh more. "Don't do that to me!" You tried to sound angry, but you couldn't help the laugh that escaped you.
A loud yell from someone nearby caught you by surprise, making you jump again. You ran to the other side of Minghao, who laughed at your expense.
You smacked his arm again. "Stop!" You whined.
"If you're scared you can hold onto me." He said with a smirk and you huffed.
"You'd like that wouldn't you?"
"Very much."
The way his eyes seemed to stare into you without his familiar teasing smirk, made your heart flutter.
He let out a soft laugh as he suddenly pulled you into his chest, hugging you and pressing a kiss to your head.
"You're cute when you're flustered."
You were left in stunned silence for a moment before you finally found your voice again. "Why are you acting so differently?"
Minghao pulled away from you, looking down at you with a soft gaze.
So you did notice.
"What do you mean?
You shrugged your head softly. "I don't know, you're just being..." You let out a soft sigh of frustration. "I don't know how to explain it."
He smiled widely at you and you pointed at him.
"See! That right there!"
He widened his eyes a bit as he let out a bewildered laugh. "What?!"
"The way you're looking at me it's- it's different. You're doing it on purpose I know it! Why?"
His smile softened as he moved his hands to take yours. He gently caressed your fingers as he stared at your hands. You felt your heartbeat racing as he took a step closer.
"I figured I needed to be more obvious for you to finally realize."
"Realize what?"
His eyes rose to your face and you saw him study your face for a moment. He took in your features, including your lips, which you did not fail to notice.
"How much I care about you. Not just as a friend."
"Wha-"
Your words were cut off as Minghao pulled you towards him suddenly. You froze as his lips met yours. His hands gently rose up your hands, to your arms and then shoulders as he kissed you softly. Just as you started to sink into the kiss, he pulled away.
You blinked a few times as he opened his own eyes, staring gently at you with a soft smile.
"You kissed me." You mumbled in surprise.
He smiled. "I kissed you."
He reached up and gently stroked your cheek.
"And I want to do it again, a thousand times. Honestly I've wanted to for ages. I think- no, I know that I've had feelings for you for a long time. And I couldn't hold back anymore, especially when I thought I might lose you."
Realization suddenly washed over you and your mind flashed back to earlier at the party.
"Is this why you and Ji-Yoo were so tense around each other earlier?" You suddenly asked and Minghao let out a soft laugh as he nodded his head.
"Yes. I'm sorry it got so tense, I just hated the idea of him stealing you away from me."
He looked down at his feet and you smiled softly.
"No one could do that Minghao."
His eyes shot up to meet yours, and you let out a soft laugh. "Why do you think I haven't even attempted to date anyone in the last few years?"
Minghao felt hope rising in his chest and he furrowed his brow in hopefully confusion.
You smiled bashfully. "Because I only ever wanted you."
Minghao stepped closer and pressed his forehead against yours as he grinned."Not Ji-Yoo?"
You chuckled and shook your head, "No, not Ji-Yoo, just you."
"Good."
He grinned as he kissed you again, his arms wrapping around your waist as he pulled you close to him. This time, instead of freezing, you returned the kiss, as your chest burned hot and butterflies turned into fireworks.
Neither of you were aware of the approaching group, who you had forgotten about, until you heard a familiar voices gasp out dramatically.
"They're kissing!!" Joshua yelled.
You broke apart as you looked over at the dramatically surprising, yet grinning faces of your friends who started to grab at each other and gasp.
You laughed as Minghao rolled his eyes, gesturing at them to go away.
"And here we thought one of you got hurt or something!" Jun yelled with a fake disgust on his face as he pulled at Jeonghan who had his eyes covered.
They started to head back towards the store, throwing various comments at the two of you as they disappeared.
The last voice you heard was Mingyu's, "Took you long enough Minghao!"
Minghao yelled out into the darkness after them, "Shut up!"
You laughed as he shook his head with annoyance before he pulled you to his chest, staring into your eyes as your noses bushed.
"It did take me way too long." He admitted softly.
You shook your head, "I thought I had convinced myself to move on, thinking you would never feel the same way for me, but honestly I think I could have waited forever."
He grinned before he pressed a soft kiss to your lips. "No more waiting."
You shook your head with a soft smile, as you repeated his words as joy filled both of you.
"No more waiting."
xx End xx
I got writers block like four times while trying to write this, so I'm sorry if it's not the best :/ I really wanted it to come out better.
But, that being said. This was the final part to my 13 Days of Halloween, and I hope you all enjoyed it!

Plot: It turns out scaring Seungmin is a lot harder than you thought.
Pairing: Kim Seungmin x Gn!Reader
Request: “You’re not scared of me?” “Should I be?” Requested By: @tumbleboof
Warnings: Savage Seungmin. Mentions of fake blood/gore related makeup/costume. The photos make this look serious but it's not, just a quick fun one shot.

Tumblr media
You hummed as you looked over your work in the mirror, wondering if maybe you had over-done it a bit. Your sink was now covered in red dye that you prayed would wash off easily.
It was less than a week until Halloween and you still hadn't decided on what to wear. You were too indecisive.
Over the course of the last few days, you tried out various costume ideas and makeup styles to help you make up your mind.
This evening, you had applied a makeup look, that made your face appear as though it had been shredded. Fake blood and fake skin covered your face. You wore a single contact in one eye that made your eye appear damaged and bloody.
Your outfit was a mangled mess, covered in blood as well. Needless to say, it was very gory. And admittedly, maybe a bit much for the costume party you were trying to find a costume for.
Hearing your phone buzz, you read Seungmin's text telling you he was on his way to your place. You felt a pang of excitement at the idea of seeing your boyfriend, but it was quickly replaced with an idea that made you even more giddy.
As Seungmin marched up to your door, he checked his phone again to see you had still not replied. He frowned as he knocked on your door, jolting slightly when it opened at his touch.
He peered into the quiet apartment, before his eyes raked over the room. Seeing and hearing nothing, he walked in and called out for you, hearing no response.
Walking slowly into the house, he heard a soft shuffle come from the bedroom. A thought popped into his head as he repressed a smirk as he walked towards the room. He knew you too well. He braced himself as he pushed open the door.
You screamed as you jumped out from behind the door and Seungmin simply spun around and looked at you, his face blank, but a soft amused twinkle in his eyes.
You stared at him with disappointment. "Aw, really? Nothing?!" He blinked a few times and you groaned. "You're not scared of me?"
He tilted his head a bit. "Should I be?"
You groaned in bewilderment, "Well, yeah I mean-" you gestured to your makeup and outfit as Seungmin looked you over.
"Ohhh, you're wearing a costume. I didn't notice."
Your face dropped as he spoke bluntly. You turned to leave without a word and Seungmin finally broke, letting out a laugh as he followed you.
"I'm sorry, I was kidding!"
"I don't even know why I'm dating you." You said with a low tone as you repressed a grin as he wrapped his arms around you, trying to stop you from walking away from him.
"Because I'm great, and you love me." He said with an obvious grin.
You continued to try and walk, pulling him with you and he chuckled, "I'm sorry! Look, I think your makeup is really cool, I was just expecting it when I came in, you're just too obvious."
"I'm not forgiving you." You said simply and he chuckled, tightening his grip around you.
"I'm getting fake blood all over my clothes and you won't forgive me?"
"Sounds like a you problem."
He whined a bit, "I think you look really scary! Do you want me to leave and come in again?"
You rolled your eyes, as you failed to repress a laugh. "That would just be embarrassing!"
After some more teasing, and back and forth arguments about what to watch, you were now sitting on the couch as Hocus Pocus played on the TV.
Seungmin was grabbing a drink from the fridge and you took the opportunity to strike again. Well, attempt too.
As he closed the fridge, you yelled out, from where you had been hiding behind the door.
Seungmin just looked over at you and shook his head.
You groaned in defeat as you pouted, and he let out a soft laugh before pressing a kiss to your head.
"Why did you think that would work, look at you."
You looked down at yourself and frowned. You might still have the makeup on your face, but you had changed into your pajamas, not quite as menacing as before.
"Still could have worked." You mumbled and he shook his head with a grin.
"Cute." He mumbled with a soft grin. "Why haven't you taken that off yet anyways?"
You followed him back to the couch, "Because it took way too long to just leave on for an hour."
"You're gonna break out."
You thought about it for a moment before sighing. You doubted you were going to successfully scare Seungmin, so you might as well get ready for the evening.
Making your way to the bathroom, you prepared yourself for the long process. After a couple visits from Seungmin, who helped you peel off the fake skin with little to no gagging, you were finally free of the fake blood and skin.
After washing your face thoroughly, you put a white sheet mask on your face to cleanse your skin, just in case.
As you rounded the hallway corner, you almost ran into Seungmin, who let out a dramatic gasp and yelp as he staggered away from you.
He placed his hand on his chest as he eyed you, obviously playing up his reaction. "Gosh, you scared me!"
You stared at him with a blank expression. "Seriously?"
You saw him repress a smile as he let out another deep breath and shook his head, "That was really scary."
"I'm gonna kill you."
xx End xx
Just some simple crack/fun. I didn't have a very good idea for this, so I just wrote what came to mind. Hope you liked it!

As the others broke off into groups, rushing to their preferred destinations, you stared down the long road a people yelling and jumping in fear as various scare actors ran through the streets.
Where you wanted to go, was on the other side. You took in a deep breath, barely aware of the person beside you a they stared at you with amusement.
"Hey." He whispered as he leaned in, making you jump a little.
You glared over at Changbin as he laughed. "Don't do that!" You hissed, only making him laugh more.
Ignoring him, you began heading down the road, preparing yourself for the onslaught to come. Changbin hurried to catch up, sticking right by your side.
"Do we really have to go all the way down there?" He asked and you nodded.
"They purposefully put all the food on the other side"
He groaned and you smiled softly "I thought you weren't afraid?"
"I'm not! Between the two of us, you're the scaredy cat!" He defended and you giggled.
Just as you felt better due to his obvious discomfort, the smile was wiped from your face when a man dressed as a bloody clown jumped out at you making you yelp and jump in surprise.
You rushed faster as you tried to get past him aware that Changbin was running to keep up. You didn't care about the 'experience' you just wanted to get through this, and get your food in the end.
Flinching and yelping some more as you made your way down the road, you took a breather as Changbin leaned closer beside you. He was obviously just as breathless and freaked out, but he never refused a chance to tease you, or in this case, flirt.
"If you get scared you can hold onto me."
You'd be lying if your heart didn't beat a little faster as he spoke, his breath almost brushing your face as he had leaned close enough for you to hear.
Ignoring it, you looked at him with a teasing glare. "Oh you'd love that wouldn't you?"
He smirked, "Very much."
Ignoring the way your heart flipped again, you rolled your eyes. "Come on let's get this over with."
Changbin watched you walk off with a grin on his face. As easily as you brushed off his comments, he knew thy effected you
You quickly made your way through the crowds, trying to avoid being the target of the various monsters and ghouls, and failing miserably.
When you had another moment to breath, you realized that Changbin had his arm looped through yours as he was gripping onto you tightly. You had no idea when it had happened, as you had both been freaking out as you ran through the crowds of people and monsters.
You caught his eye and spoke with a teasing tone. "I thought I was the one who was supposed to hold onto you?"
He stared at you before his eyes flicked down to your linked arms, and growing realization and embarrassment crossed his features.
"Shut up." He said after a moment and you let out a laugh.
He watched you for a moment before he laughed as well, a mix of embarrassment and genuine amusement coursing through him.
When your laughs began to die down, you both spotted the chainsaw man lock his eyes on you. You and Changbin met eyes before you both bolted for it, not wanting the man to get to you.
Adrenaline ran through you as the two of you darted through the crowd, before finally reaching the end of long road. The two of you took a moment to catch you breath again as you looked back at the various people making their way much slower through the event.
Your attention was quickly returned to Changbin as he took your hand in his.
He grinned at you, "I'm proud of us, we did it!"
You let out a breathy laugh, trying to once again ignore the way his actions made you feel.
You turned to look down the road ahead of you. You could see the food stalls ahead of you, but you still had a short walk to make.
"Ugh I can smell the food." You groaned and Changbin chuckled.
Squeezing your hand, he tugged you along.
"Lets go!" He yelled cheerfully and you giggled, eyeing the way his hand was intertwined with yours.
Your paces slowed as you saw a figure walking slowly from the darkness nearby. It was someone tall, covered completely in a sheet. They walked slowly, as if floating, and you couldn't help the goosebumps that rose up your arm.
You and Changbin watched them silently before you muttered, "How can they even see in that thing?"
"I don't know and I don't want to know."
Suddenly you were running as Changbin quickly pulled you along, past the cloaked figure and into the crowded, and much livelier food district. Reaching a bench, you both sat down with sighs and heavy breaths.
"I don't want to run anymore!" You whined before Changbin laughed.
"That was fun though!"
You glared over at him, only making him laugh at the exhausted and done look on your face. You couldn't help but giggle at the amused and happy look on his face.
You let out a soft sigh, "Can we get some food now?"
He chuckled and nodded his head, "Yes please."
As you rose, you noticed he still had his hand wrapped around yours. As you walked behind him, you tugged your hand, but he only tightened his grip.
"Let go." You muttered and he smirked, barely glancing back at you.
"No."
You felt your ears burning a bit hotter as you swallowed. "Why?"
He stopped and looked back at you. He glanced down at your hands before meeting your eyes again and gently squeezing your hand.
"Because I like holding your hand."
He saw the flustered look cross your face that you quickly tried to hide. He smiled softly, proud of the reaction before he continued to lead you towards the food stalls, hand still very much holding yours.
You felt butterflies flutter in you stomach, as heat rose up your neck. As you didn't make any more moves to remove your hand, and instead even squeezed his softly, Changbin grinned, pulling you closer to him, so he could have you right by his side.
xx End xx
