omg the past two days were a blast i'll ramble in tags

#mrowr.txt #sunday we had the party!! #the pulled pork wasnt soft enough to pull apart but it was done-ish in time with moms help #she saved all my foodstuffs tbh #but it was good! #poor mom's stomach has been rioting for the past day though so idk what didnt sit well with her #but yesterday boyf and i got up early #he came over to cuddle before we had to be actually up #and we had breakfast #and went to the zoo!!! #we got to feed sea pancakes!!!!!!!!! #and i got video of pelicans yawning!!!!! #(some of my favorite things) #we got lunch there which was meh but afterwards we went to coldstone #and got super big yummy ice cream #and i got the kirby cup extra to keep! #and then checked out a cards/comic book store and i got new cards for the collections #and a candy/retro soda/gag foods store #got some soda and saltwater taffy and stuff #and then we went THRIFT SHOPPIN #i got the most PERFECT swimsuit ever like it was literally built around my body exactly #and a nice new rug and some comf sweaters for the winter #and we got a beanbag chair for 15$!! #not torn or deflated or dirty! #future house furniture goal tbh as long as the cats dont destroy it by then lmfao #after that we wandered the mall and i got another pusheen for the collection #finally the tiramisu ive been wanting! #we had dinner at red robin and that shit SLAPPED it was so good #and finally we went and saw my bestie at work so she could meet boyf and then headed home #it was a very long very busy very fun day tho

#ore no kao #nice brunch--once i got past some allergy concerns with my steak/eggs at this asian fusion spot--leading to fun karaoke hehe #first song was Handsome by The Vaccines for self indulgence before i see them tmrw 😌 #then Stolen Dance from Milky Chance was fun #Semi-Charmed Life from Third Eye Blind went over well lol #and of course when a friend went with the Pokémon Theme i ha #*had to him 'em with the ol' Rica Matsumoto Aim to be a Pokémon Master for the Japanese side 💁🏽‍♂️ #would've done Butterfly for Digimon if we had time lol #[or Dreamers from 2020] #oscars party with friends after where i didnt know 95% of the noms haha #fun sunday but no time to sleep in for work tmrw 😭😩😴

#the wedding was lovely and i am so sad #managed to get most of the sad out of the way Friday and Sunday so i could be glad for them on the actual wedding day #but still. i'm going to miss her. #we always talked about living together and we never did and now we probably never will #i've got a model of married folk living together in community but i don't think they do and it has to be something you choose #her family are lovely and i was really glad to meet her friends and cousins that she talks about so often but they don't really get it #they get to have her!!! she's moving somewhere that's more convenient for literally everyone other than me! (this is not hard to do) #really good to get home and hug my dad and my little sister and have people who are my people around #was actually really good at the reception that there were a few other folk from my current town - i wasn't the only person who was #mixed joy and tears #i said something about us giving her over in my speech and they said yes that's exactly how we're feeling #but it wasn't till her husband responded to that in his speech that i started crying #everyone has been so kind to me but it has been SO good to get home #hoping i can get a bit more sleep as well. emotions are bigger when tired even though they're real still #(her cousins invited me to come stay any time and tbh i can see that living in Auckland could be actually really nice if you live where they #do. but i couldn't live where they do and do the work i want to do it is quite far away from the places in Auckland i could imagine working) #rowena adventures #btw no photos of me currently but probably some later??? not that we took many the groom had been sick the previous week and was #still pretty wiped so they got like two photos with the bridal party and ten with just them and that was it

yesss finally went to confession today and stayed after for mass and received the Eucharist for the first time since august. just as i was going up to receive i got a horrible stabbing pain in my eye and was like Don’t Even Try It The Devil

#i drank champagne before a wedding i was a bridesmaid in and then I took communion at the wedding mass and i went to Sunday mass and took it #again and then I was like oh shoot I broke the fast and then I received again #and I wasn’t sure if that was even a sin because it was so unintentional (we all in the bridal party did the same thing) #and the priest was like yeah i mean considering how long wedding masses are unless you were chugging it in the parking lot you probably had #an hour and also you forgot you didn’t do it on purpose but also don’t drink before a wedding. but also you probably were fine and shouldn’ #have gone weeks without communion #and everything in my life started going downhill specifically when i stopped receiving (still going to mass obvi) #so maybe that will make things better #i mean it’s already better in that im back to receiving which itself is a great gift #he also said i should try to go to confession more and was like I know father I’m sorry but I live so far away and I don’t have a car and #the person who used to drive me to confession is the one making me sad! (Because I was saying stuff re: my current interpersonal problems) #I was like sorry it’s not an excuse it’s just funny! while crying in the confessional booth #Sorry father #Sorry sorry sorry

#camera talks #my school GSA had a halloween party tonight and i got second place for the costume contest :) #(wore my nicky close stuff <3 (also there weren't many people but it was still really fun)) #and !! i got to sing a duet with my best friend !!! (we sang mountain duet (chess) lol. i was anatoly) #it was a very fun night and im just glad i got to do it tbh #and despite my 7-3 tomorrow i have a full day off sunday and im so excited #oh and its an online friend of 3 years birthday tomorrow and im so happy and excited !!! #genuinely feeling better about somethings i think :)
