spiders/bugs

he doesn't look it, but he's definitely the type to call pablo in the room if he sees a spider. he likes to steer clear of the mines for that exact reason, cuz those spiders would give him such a heart attack 😭. spiders are the worst, but really anything with lots of legs freaks him out.

he simultaneously hates them and won't kill them. like, yes he needs pablo to come take care of it, but he probably makes him take it outside in a cup instead of squishing it.

ghosts

he's such a wuss to ghost stories. put him in a room with alice and noah while they're talking about some urban legends about the forest, and he'll be coming up with every excuse in the book to avoid them. he'd rather die than admit that any of them actually freak him out, though 😭

one time lily told him the grounds the museum was build on were haunted and he refused to be alone in there for days. she still teases him about it all the time

heights

i have no proof of this it's just. a vibe. he looks like he would be afraid of heights. keep this man on solid ground or he'll die. he doesn't struggle with it too much around the island, but he definitely will never get on an airplane or anything like that. exclusively boat travel for him 👍

claustrophobic

come on!! he spends almost all his time outside, there's no way he'd comfortable in tight spaces. he feels most comfortable around the woods, his house is roomy enough, but put him in the mines and you're going to have an anxious mess on your hands.

his mom tried a few times to introduce him to them when he was younger, but it was much worse then and he could never stand it for very long. she gave that up pretty quickly. he's much happier working the ranch and hanging around the forest, anyway.
