Regina smoothed down her hair as she walked up the front walk to Emma's home. She had come to cherish evenings like tonight. It was movie night. She never watched television or movies much on her own, but she loved the nights when she could spend time with two of her favorite people. She hadn't a clue what tonight's movie would be, but she was pretty sure that Henry would pick a good one.

Movie nights had come about during a time when Regina had needed it the most. Robin's death had left her reeling, but Henry and Emma had pulled her through it out the other side. She still missed Robin. She knew she always would. He was a part of her that no one else would ever be able to touch, but she was starting to live again.

It wasn't lost on her that the biggest reason for that was Emma. Their relationship had changed so much over the years, and she loved the ever-evolving nature of their relationship. They'd gone from enemies to friends. Even now she felt that they were on the edge of something else, but she wouldn't dare put a label on it.

She knocked quickly on the door and took a deep breath. She felt her heart skip a beat at the thought of seeing Emma, of being in her presence. She gripped the handle on the six-pack of Emma's favorite beer and smiled as the door opened to reveal their son. "I know I'm a bit early, but I didn't figure anyone would mind." 

She hugged Henry to her and kissed the top of his head. "Where's your Mom?"

Let me tell you all, it has been a long FOUR years as Mary. I’ve had so many ups and downs, amazing threads and made some amazing friends. I am so protective of Mary, not only as a muse but as a historian as well. I spend a lot of time reading about her and rereading things, but anyway. Here we are, four years later and feeling like I’ve come a hella long way with this blog. Archived once before but that is too much work and I don’t see myself doing that anytime soon haha. I’ve had so much fun with mary, even more so over the past few weeks. I’m more so happy that people enjoy my portrayal of her. Buuuuuut any who, on the list!

drafts to be dropped: 

so as i’ve mentioned, i’m going to be dropping some threads. i want to get back into the swing of things on here, get back into writing here as i miss my babies. however the amount of drafts i have is ridiculous and it was just overwhelming and off-putting seeing that huge number in my drafts count. i don’t know if this is all of them yet, there may be more that i decide to drop, but the threads listed below are ones that i will be dropping --- UNLESS you really want to keep it, in which case we can talk about it. i just want to say, PLEASE don’t think that i am dropping our threads because of something you have done. i have simply been away for so long and i find it hard to get back into the head space of some things after a long time. but i would always be more than happy to start new things with you guys. <3

She threw her keys on to the table and and her bag on the floor, she didn’t even bother taking off her shoes just yet. She wandered over to the kitchen and grabbed a glass and the bottle of vodka stashed in the freezer. Stubborn was an understatement when it came to Regina Mills, and while usually she could dig the heels of her Jimmy Choo’s in and get her way, it appeared tonight she would have to actually come up with a viable excuse other than the tried-and-true ‘it’s getting late and I have so much to accomplish tomorrow’; because as stubborn as Regina was, Emma was even more-so. The brunette eyed the blonde at the door and narrowed her eyes, “Emma, this is ridiculous. I have to get home. I can’t stay here.” She huffed softly and crossed her arms, tilting her head and lifting her eyebrows, “For one, I’m all Christmas movie-d out; and I’d really like to be able to get home to wrap Henry’s gifts before he finds where I’ve hidden them.” She frowned slightly, muttering softly- almost to herself, “He gets more and more like you every day. I swear, I can’t seem to hide anything from him anymore.” 

If she was honest with herself, she really didn’t have to go anywhere. The mansion was locked up tight, Henry was safe with the unCharmings, and City Hall would be closed for the weekend. She had no reason to leave, and she knew that Emma knew that; but staying in the home that the blonde shared with Hook made her uneasy. She pushed her hand through her hair and closed her eyes as she ran her hand back along her neck and massaged at the base of her skull, alleviating the tightness there slightly before she opened her dark eyes and stared at the Savior with a weak grin, “We both know I can poof out of here if I have to.”

David listened to her explanation and he still wasn’t completely buying what she was saying, she had to know that Ruby was going to tell Snow and Charming she was their friend for a much longer period of time than she was with Emma. “I hope youre not mad at Ruby for telling us, she was just caught caught between the people she loves.” David said trying to defend his friend. (Are you a CS’er or what? Just so I know which way to go with this.)
