Was yesterday really #NationalBlackCatDay??? You know how they say “you don’t pick them, they pick you”? That shit is true mannnnnnn. I went to the pet store to adopt a rascal or ferret or both. As I walked by the cats, Binx (who was at the time named I think Sable or something super lame like that) anyways! As I walked by all the cats he stuck his paw out and snagged my shirt and when I turned around he rolled onto his back and was purring, letting me pet him and being all cute. I’ve never, ever been a cat person in my life. Always dogs ya know? I knew right then and there dog or cat it doesn’t matter, you can connect with any animal and every animal is just idk amazing. I know I’m already making this wayyyy too long but to finish my story I knew he was coming home with me right then and there and he did. Maybe not even five minutes after getting him some people came in to get him too. I felt bad of course but there wasn’t a little child with them so I thought “ya snooze ya lose”. Brought him home to an apartment that didn’t allow but I didn’t care I had to have him. I knew Devinne would have felt the same way, I knew I wouldn’t of needed to ask her plus I wanted to surprise her with him so yeah. He was scared at first obviously and hid behind the oven of all places for the first night or two but it didn’t take him long to warm up to us and like maybe not even two months later we got Blair haha. I never, ever been a cat person ever. I now have three awesome ass cats well two awesome ass cats and an awesome ass kitten. I could seriously go on forever about how lucky I am they picked us and or found us. Honestly, meeting Devinne was the best most amazing thing that ever could have happened to me. It’s open so many opportunities. Open opportunities? Is that a thing people say? Lol. Anyways now that I’ve written this long ass essay that no one will read because I always make my posts wayyyy too long. Just trust me, I love this cat more than anything in the world. That goes for all my kitties. I love them more than cereal, horror movies/books, more than Nos but! Not more than @devaliiiiii ;) it’s a close tie for first though. I am the luckiest man alive.
