Imo I wasn't questioning if she supports a genocide or not. I'm fully sure she donated to the people in gaza privately but there was no public support when that's what Palestinians want. Taylor herself has said she wants to be on the right side of history, and as we're literally watching a genocide happen in front of us, there was nothing from her. I personally went back and forth thinking maybe it's the security aspect of it. Not just hers but obviously of the fans (and knowing she's terrified after what happened in Manchester) but idk.. I don't think she needs to make her own statement or write her own comments, but sharing real resources when propaganda has been strong in western media and the us also not calling for a ceasefire.

I also feel like this constant need to find easter eggs even in her candids has made it too much to be involved in the fandom. Like I want us to enjoy what we have, make gifs and edits for that content for months. I actually want us to be bored and have regular bingo night etc. ofc speculating and being excited for next project is fine but now that everyone and their cousin is a swiftie, it's too much speculation and looking for clues when like. 1989 tv literally just came out. my brain is just tired of how fast people are consuming everything

yes this! i couldn't agree more, wow i miss our bingo nights can we bring them back? 😭 it's just insane, i always see swifties going 'omg is [insert random unrelated thing] a rep tv clue? rep tv is coming!' and like we KNOW it's likely the next release, why do you have to create easter eggs from every little thing? it's not even fun, it's stupid and everyone just wants the next thing without pausing to appreciate what we have. 1989 tv literally just came out!!! i fully blame tiktok culture; people only like what's brand new and trendy and they're bored after 2 days 🤦‍♀️

hey are you able to make the rescheduling of the show tonight work??

hopefully I will. way too many things need to get sorted out (ferry tickets, accommodation, etc) which sucks but I think we will make it work. anyway I just rescheduled my ferry ticket and now I have to find accommodation for that night since my Airbnb is already booked for the sunday-monday night.

pretty shitty situation and it was really poorly managed (we were under the rain and in the cold for HOURS before we got any information) but everything will be fine and I’m still extremely lucky I’m able to make it work to be there on Sunday
