Irumi's anthem
Every akudol has that one song they are remembered by. It is there go to performance song. Even though Irumi was technically a part of Kuromu's akudol group, she could not keep using her song. 'Little devil'
She needed her own song if her akudol career was to continue. Of course, Kerori was very insistent when explaining this to Iruma. And it wasn't as though he minded much. He liked having fun with his friends and enjoyed participating in their interests.
Even if it was a little awkward when he had to dress up as Irumi. Seeing Kerori open up and smile as she talked about her passion was heartwarming. So there wasn't any harm in being Irumi for her.
Iruma stared up at the ceiling of his room. No, the real issue was making a song. What should it be about? Would it be any good?
So many questions filled his mind. Maybe... it couldn't hurt to try. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, he turned and studied Irumi's reflection staring back at him. He let his feelings wash over him.
♧Sinking~ Falling into despair. A hand reached out and broke through my fears. When I was lost, you found me, showed me kindness, set me free~ and still~♧
How many times had he been let down? How many times had he been abandoned? Left behind? He had lost count. Then, one day, he's found. Cradled tenderly in a warm embrace.
Everything that had weighted him down was removed. All his past fears slowly crumbling away. One by one. Making his heart soar.

He had a family now. Friends, those he can rely on. He was no longer reaching for empty air. There was always a hand reaching back for him.

Every day was amazing. Every day, confidence grew. Every precious moment held and cherished in his mind.

Helping his friends reach their goals. Finding their ambitions. Working hard together as a team. Being there when they needed it the most. That's what was important to Iruma.

Gone were the days of hiding. No more starvation. He no longer needed to worry about his voice falling on deaf ears.
The days were now only filled with laughter. Never go hungry again. The endless room of self-improvement. His voice was heard. His opinion mattered.

It's a hope. To never be separated from those he now cares for. It's his deepest wish. One he holds onto tightly.
Although he still keeps his secret from so many of them. Who knows, maybe one day he will be able to tell them. Maybe he can proudly say it, and they will happily accept him still.
Truthfully, deep down, it's like wishing for his own set of wings to fly with. Wishful and idealistic on his part. Yet, he holds onto it anyway.

Grandpa, Opera, Balam-sensei, Master... they all believed in him. They all knew the truth, and still, they believed. Even Ameri knew, and she helped push him forward.

Clara and Alice. His friends, his soulmates. How did he ever live without them? It didn't matter. He was with them now, and if he had to start all over, he wouldn't change a thing.

The sleepovers, the games. The help with homework. Each moment is a treasure in his heart. Soft pink and green pastel, like a whirlwind came into his life.

Just watched the new episode of Bofuri!! Thoughts:
I sighed when I saw the title, I’m so sick of seeing Christmas stuff at this point
New intro is very good but I’m really gonna miss the original
Kaede has plushies of the in game creatures and monsters in her bedroom irl!! I spotted that rabbit she first fought and of course the dragon mascot
I love that Maple is single-handedly thrashing the boss meant to take entire guilds to defeat while the rest of her guild just stands there staring and says “yeah same shit as always, you go girl”
Frederica’s obsessive rivalry with Sally reads as VERY gay, which delights and breaks my Maple/Sally shipping heart in equal measure
Love that while every other member of Maple Tree was making a sincere effort to explore the new level, Kanade seemingly just hunkered down in a library for an entire day and did not budge. I don’t know if that’s what happened, but the snapshots with everyone else running around while they’re sitting and holding a book definitely implied it
Also love how they’re all this very colorful and bright and pretty cutesy looking group. And then there’s Kuromu in black and scarlet, six feet tall with a skull mask and dripping in death imagery
MII AND MAPLE AT A CAT CAFE ITS SO CUTE I LOVE THEM
Also Maple trying to lie to Markus and Misery so Mii can maintain her tough girl image only to nearly reveal it immediately, such a lovable dork
Payne and Maple teaming up only for it to end with Maple just steamrolling everything solo for a good while was hilarious
Eternally amused by the Devs with their furry avatars just losing it at Maple’s rapid rate of evolution and general game-breaking habits
Another group party!! I love how outsiders are eternally mystified that Maple keeps inviting enemies into the guild house for social events while the rest of the actual guild just laughs it off
The eternal pain of gear that is very useful, resilient, and comes with bonuses but is also very ugly
Overall I just missed this so much, Bofuri is so wholesome and fun! Definitely a much needed source of levity in life right now.

I've been thinking of Mairuma x Pokemon crossover and here are some ideas I have of who would own what pokemon, purely based off vibes alone- the big list under the cut:
The thought of Clara having a Bellibolt gives me so much joy. They would be such funny little bouncy beans! You would see then and just think "look at them go!!! Good for them! " Also I think she would have a Politoed.
Lied? High key toxtricity? Raichu? Hand in hand.
Kalego would have a maractus because why would he not, honestly. A Hydreigon too, maybe
Balam with the tiniest little Happini. No one questions why he would have one. Can be seen helping him take care of patients
Azz with a shiny Salazzle... it's a new thought but it's definitely welcomed.
Kerori with an alolan ninetails and a zoroak to fit her familiars, then a sylveon and a mismagius to fit Kuromu aesthetic
Can't have Jazz without a Thievul (and a togepi! Because why not :) )
Iruma and starter pokemon. Which region? Who knows. Also, I think it would be really funny if he has Guzzlord
Gaap and a Bisharp. Can't say anything more fitting than that. Would say Ceruledge too but slightly on the fence with that one.
Agares and a Musharna!! And a Komala and Snorlax too!
Haha what if Elizabetta has a Tinkaton. As a treat.
Allocer with a Slowking, Alakazam, and an Oranguru. Galaxy brain team
Sabro, my guy, I can't think of anything for you other than Blastoise or Nidoking which I'm not exactly sitting well with... maybe a Gyarados or a Mudsdale

Genuinely don't know what Kamui would have other than birds and that's kinda too basic.

How F!Balam Shichirou entered the Akudol life (For @hanhanartz) includes OpeKaleShi (Opera x Kalego x Shichiro)
Teen hood
How Shicharo became an Akudol is quite funny really
She owes Carina Valac (Mrs. Valac) a lot since Carina had saved her from some scumbag demons
And being an Akudol is how she pays her debts
She was quite shy and low in confidence at first since Shiharo never really thought she'd looked good in short skirts/dresses because of talons
But goddamn was she beautiful in the dress Carina gave her
Plus the dress was custom made for her
She doesn't know that which is sad
She got scared when she was on stage but good thing Carina and the rest of the team was there to comfort her
Also did I mention they were working with Devimuse agency
Overall, her first performance was a success since she somehow manage to match the rhythm
She got treated at the end
But no matter how hard she tries, she keeps being dragged back down to the Akudol life hole
Adulthood
Gontetsu-san asked the former Demimuse team to judge the current Devimuse team's performance
Yes that includes Shiharo
They would be lying if the current team said they weren't bamboozled
Melie, Lindy, and Irumi are too baffled
Kuromu was suspicious of Shiharo because of how she looks like Akudol Shorun so it wasn't much of a surprise
Her reaction was more like a "HAH! I knew it!"
But that never got out of her mouth because she was to busy gaping at Akudol Shorun and her Aku-wear
She was wearing a tight, black, green, and gold one piece turtle neck and sleeveless dress that ends to her mid thighs while also wearing long black elbow gloves. Her hair was also up in a half ponytail and she was also wearing green hair extensions. Her mask cover half of her left face so no one can see her scar
Overall, she looks very sexy
The crowd couldn't breath and nearly died from lack of oxygen
It just got worse when the rest of the team apeared

Why are they there? Robin asked them and Opera happily oblige but Kalego was opposing the idea

They, once again, saw their now Wife, on TV. As a fucking judge
And Oh my Devi were they suffering
What they DON'T know is that most of the teacher's are fans of the former Devimuse team, especially Momonoki and Raim-sensei
They're Shorun and Celli's (Mrs Valac's stage name) biggest fans since they were highschoolers
Opera and Kalego were nervous if the teacher's found out that Shorun is actually Balam Shichirin
But it looks like they don't so that's a good thing I guess
But they just had to open their fucking mouths
"Hm, Somehow, Shorun-san looks like someone I know for some reason" "Now that you mentioned it, she does kinda look like Balam-sensei"

Spoilers for Chapter 197:
So, the games are over and people are understandably swarming Irumi, whom is showing his Iruma-ness, despite looking like a badass.
We get this sweet moment between Kuromu and Iruma, then Gyari cuts in
Not sure about the look on her face, but I guess she wants to be the only one chased after.
They take a photo together and then Iruma’s back with his number one fans.
All on all, great chapter, can’t wait to see what happens next.

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun s2 ep13
The beginning of another arc.
It’s time for the kids’ vacation but of course, nothing is straightforward in anime and I think I’m gonna enjoy this arc. A character makes a comeback, too!
First of all, we’re told why their summer vacations are called “Apocalypse”. It was named as such when, way back in the day, the Demon King once reached his limit due to unreleased evil cycle stress because of overworking and wrecked havoc for 30 days. And as such, the Apocalyse is a long vacation which aims to relieve stress.
Makes sense.
Walter Park! I didn’t think it’ll look this gloomy on the outside.
The entire Abnormal Class is there and wearing normal clothes! It's time for fun... at least, that was the plan.
They have chaperones! Much to the dismay of the other students, Opera and two of the teachers (Kalego and Baram) will be with them cause Grandpa Sullivan wanted bodyguards for his grandkid. Opera uses this opportunity to be a pest to Kalego-sensei.
Oh, and Allocer isn't with them cause he's attending a conference with a sensei(the one he talked to during the stuff with the letters). It seems one of the students would rather study this vacation.
Ameri is also here! Iruma invited her and much to her disappointment, it's not a date like she thought as it's a group trip. But she does think it's fine anyways cause Iruma did invite her.
Time to go in! The inside of the park looks brighter and more fun than what it looked like on the outside.
Everyone is very excited to go in. The staff also mentioned how there'd be a performance from Kuromu that'd be held at the park. The guys wonder if the mysterious trio (Irumi-chan and friends) would make an appearance as well which unknowingly pisses of Kerori.
The group decided to go visit whatever ride they wanted but Kalego-sensei is against this as splitting up would make it hard for the chaperones to watch over them all. Baram-sensei then suggested to split into three groups as there are three adults there anyways. The kids then suggest a mini-contest to see which group have the most fun with the winners getting a treat from the teachers.
Naturally, Kalego-sensei is against that, too but the other two adults think it wouldn’t be bad to have a contest for fun. Kalego-sensei relents and says whoever loses gets more homework lol.
The kids end up drawing lots to see who goes to which group.
Team Opera has the all-girl student group!
Clara wished she could’ve gone with Iruma and Ameri, deep inside, wished the same thing. The other girls commented on Ameri’s outfit and figure and decided to go buy dresses since they noticed Ameri would look good in a one-piece.
Team Kalego with the rest of the boys!
The students under Kalego-sensei is slowly losing hope as how could they even have fun with such a teacher watching over them? But of course, they can’t lose as not only is there a punishment for the losers but they don’t want to waste their vacation.
So they decides to uh... give it their best.
Team Baram with Iruma, Asmodeus, Sabro, and Agares!
Asmodeus is super happy to be in Iruma’s group. He was really, really, really hoping this would be the case after all haha.
When deciding on what to do and where to go, Sabro and Asmodeus gets into a heated argument as Sabro has places he wants to go to while Azz says Iruma should get to decide where they’re going.
Meanwhile, Iruma who has never gone to an amusement park before nor have had a fun vacation prior to this is having fun seeing everything the place had to offer.
Iruma hears a parade and who does he find on top of one of the floats? Ronove Romiere!
He finally makes another appearance. Turns out, the park belongs to his family. He's here today to observe the park as he hopes to built one himself someday... at school. Since he claims he knows the entire park, Team Baram asked him for help when it comes to navigating the entire place.
Ronove is all the more happy to show his stuff and suggested they go somewhere no one else is allowed to go to as he has the keys for it: the underground prison.
He says the park requires a lot of power to run and the source for all of it is underneath the park itself... which seems to be a maximum security prison. The adults - both Baram-sensei and the staff whose watching Ronove, Wettoto, decided against it as it's dangerous.
Meanwhile, underneath the park, at the prison, something is happening.
We finally see a familiar face that we haven’t seen since season 1 except for flashbacks: Kiriwo Amy-senpai!
He’s sentenced to 2 years in prison for his actions back in season 1 and it’s mentioned by the others that he’s also there willingly. We’re also shown that the inmates have to work to power the park by having their hatred converted into energy.
Due to his weak body, Senpai starts feeling sick while working. He was supposed to be taken to the sick bay but the demon convict who volunteered to take him there (taking another unwilling demon with them) takes them to the fight club instead.
It seems they know him there though and he really was taken there to be taken care of. They seem to care about senpai. They then reveal the the other demon that got dragged in (who is new in prison) that they're planning to escape with the help of the Six Fingers (allies of theirs who are outside) cause Kiriwo-senpai has connections to them. What the Six Fingers want in return is help to destroy Walter Park. They decided to tell the newbie since everyone else knows and it’d be trouble if he doesn’t cooperate due to not knowing what’s going on.

I wonder if we’d get to see the gang having fun first before all hell breaks loose? This arc will be action-packed it seems cause they have a group of antagonists lined up and they seem to be pretty infamous around the convicts. I dunno how to feel about the happy fun park above being powered by demon convicts below. That sounds kinda messed up and also very dangerous cause there are innocent people above ground while there are criminals below.
Kiriwo-senpai is back! It seems he choose to continue the bad guy route. I can’t wait for him and Iruma to see each other again! Iruma still believes in Senpai after all and is shown to want to see him again.
This arc seems exciting with the plot and stuff and also Ronove and Kiriwo-senpai are both here which means interesting interactions with them and the group!
I wonder how many episodes this arc would have though? There’s still at least 10 more episode after this, right? I do hope they don’t end up dragging this out like they (apparently, according to the manga readers) did to the Battler Arc.

“Seriously, stop!” – The phrase in purple is yamerotte!, where the -tte is for emphasis. “Seriously, stop!” makes it funnier because it’s in the language I’m more fluent in though.
The demon language seems to bar some resemblance to katakana, according to the kora-! sign. Update: Maybe? Biri in demon looks a lot like the symbols for kora…
Oh, so that’s why Sabnock wears those tags…Update: Yeah, I forgot to tell you – Asmodeus’s first name is Alice, not the other way around. I read a few spoilers and apparently his mother shows up later, which is how I could tell. Therefore, the muscular demon’s name is Sabro, not Sabnock (that’s his surname).
I see the sword that Sabro generated has his symbol on it as well.
Is the big creature – the Guardian or whatever – the momma bird?...Yeah! Such a cute reunion!
Sabro is built like a guy in his 20s who works out…we’re meant to buy that he’s the same age or similar to Iruma?(!!!)...Ehhhhhhhhh, this is a demon comedy, I can buy it.
Oh my goshhhhhh…for some reason, Clara’s voice is only starting to annoy me now. (Probably because I don’t always have the volume on.)
Come to think of it, what (legally, or by whatever other demon standard) is Iruma’s surname? It’s Suzuki by human standards, but did Sullivan put him into Babylis just under the name “Iruma”?
Wait, but Eggie-sensei didn’t wipe Sabro’s name out!!!
Huh…come to think of it, this is basically the Amazing Race, complete with penalties! LOL!
Rank Owl, huh? *cue Hedwig’s Theme* I thought my Snape jokes would be the end of the Harry Potter comparisons, but there we go. (The owl even has a tie! Cuteeeeeeee!) Also, Eggie-sensei calls the last-placers kisama, so you can tell he really doesn’t like them (then again, that might just be because Iruma is one of them).
I think the “birdy bird day” is a pun on toriaezu (for the moment) from what I heard…Update: Nope, that’s not right.
(Demon Prophecy Scroll) – Yup, that’s Iruma, alright.
Apparently those hand gestures of Sullivan’s are meant to suggest the number 6…as in 666.

I think some of the girl demons are wearing their badges on their sleeves (literally), which is why they need one. According to Iruma’s uniform, the boys wear theirs on their collar.
Next time, the spotlight is on Amelie, so I’m excited! (SPOILERS: Honestly, I’ve read enough spoilers that I can’t wait to see Iruma and Azz-Azz in dresses, or evil!Iruma, or Kuromu the Akudol!)

I didn’t think a guy with the name Tsubasa would be aggressive. Maybe that’s because Tsubasa means “wing(s)”, which are fluffy and not really a name for an aggressive dude like him.

There appears to be a sign hanging from one of the levels about the girls’ soft tennis team getting to nationals. It’s like it’s deliberately there to mock Maki and co. Update: Yeah, I thought I’d seen it before somewhere. Turns out it’s behind the prez when she dances in the ED.
I never really figured this out despite my years of learning Japanese, but do senseis call each other “sensei”? According to the audio of this show, the answer is “yes”.
Tacky = Takichi. It’s because Sakurai’s (the art teacher’s) first name is Takayuki.
Why am I so sure something bad’s about to-oh crap. Something bad did happen.

I never realised exactly how much I liked this show until I had a really bad day and then couldn’t watch it…
Smartphone = hellphone (sumaho).
Considering the frailty of cherry blossoms and Iruma’s status as a human, that’s…a highly appropriate flower! (Also, after reading a This Week in Anime where it said Iruma was living his best life at Babyls, now I think “aww” when I watch this show.)
Notably, the demon language seems to map to katakana, which is one method as to how Iruma manages to keep his status as human for so long (Iruma’s first name looks similar to the kanji for “human”).
Lookit Ameri go! Woot!
I guess demons think of humans like we think of fairies, mermaids…or demons (LOL).
I get the feeling two strokes in the upper right = tenten (since I think that’s where “ge” is), but I haven’t busted the demon language outside of that.
I just realised the teacher (Suzy) is part of the ED…in the very last shot.
Oh, right. The side character’s name is Eiko = A-ko. It’s like calling your side character Jane Doe (or calling your side character “Mob”, in a case that is in anime), but specifically for girls.

Bofuri – 10 – The Little Guild that Could
Maple Tree’s haul totals ten orbs, but that’s only good enough for 17th place. To reach the Top 10 they’ll need more, and the easy pickens from smaller guilds like theirs will be gobbled up quick. That means an already tired Sally must sally forth into the night, where her style of attacking is most effective. Kasumi, Kuromu, Iz and Kanade also strike out to gather more orbs, confident Maple can hold the fort with May and Yui.
But the pitfalls of a tiny guild like theirs trying to compete with the big dogs becomes clear when a nearly gassed Sally bites off more than she can chew and is surrounded by Frederica’s Holy Sword soldiers. She messages Maple that she “might die, sorry”, and Maple rushes to her rescue in Angel Mode and mows the Holy Sword columns away with her Hydras and mech beams.
Maple saves Sally (and her haul of orbs), but leaves the base defense to just May and Yui, who are ambushed by Shin of the Flame Emperors, who was watching the guild’s movements. Though he picked the perfect time to strike, the twins manage to avoid KO just long enough for Maple to return with Sally.
Maple KOs Shin, who promises he’ll be back with friends. Frankly, Kanade leaving the base for a mere handful of orbs wasn’t worth it; had the twins died just a few minutes sooner, Shin would have made off like…well, like a bandit!
Still, everything turns out fine this time. Sally unveils Maple Tree’s “Plan B”, which essentially swaps who’s on offense and defense. Maple, May and Yui are a three-girl demolition team that carves through the guilds Sally mapped out, while the rest of the guild stands by at the base.
It’s not long until the next victim on Maple’s list are the vaunted Flame Emperors. Neither Markus nor Misery—neither of them exactly pushovers—can do much more than slow her down a little. Anything that traps Maple in her tracks is quickly reduced to rubble by the twin hammer girls.
In fact, once they’ve thrown everything they can at Maple to no avail, Misery and Markus resign themselves to death and defeat…until their commander Mii arrives in a streak of flames, just as Maple came to Sally’s aid. Thus the stage is set for the biggest showdown of NWO so far, something everyone watching on the sidelines has been waiting for.
Will Mii’s presence enable Markus and Misery to regroup and keep the twins busy, leaving Maple more vulnerable? Or will Mii fall to Mega-Maple’s might just as so many others before her, and have a big ol’ whiny tantrum about it? We shall see!

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun s2 ep18
Was gonna post this days ago but I decided to do twewy-related stuff first lol.
Anyways, lots of pictures below again. At least 20, I think. Talks of ships below as well.
The last time we saw them, Iruma had jumped in front of the beast preparing to shoot a blast of magic in front of Ronove. Everyone else is worried but don’t know what to do cause if they tried to help, they’d get blasted, too. It seems though that Iruma himself has a plan.
Iruma plans to use Ali-san’s ability to swallow the huge amount of magic to eat the blast of it the beast is going to release saying he thought it was possible since Ali-san is the Ring of Gluttony. Arikured is surprised by this and complains at first but agrees he could do such a thing but Iruma's strength will be needed to succeed.
Remember that spell Iruma learned before about changing the appearance of something? Iruma uses that magic spell to turn Ali-san into this... cat thing. Giant cat thing idk so it could swallow the magic. Ali-san swallows the entire beast and let it explode inside him. Once it was over, the sky clears up, too. The plan totally worked and Ali-san is full!
Does this mean Iruma could use the power that got eaten from the beasts?
Trouble is over and Iruma gets together with his friends again. His friends were all worried about him though and Kalego-sensei came up to tell him he'd been reckless again. Iruma says he hasn't forgotten about what Kalego-sensei had said before at the home visit and that he had now finally understood what sensei meant. He was so used to danger due to almost always being in one himself that he never realized how bad such situations were until everyone else he cared about got affected. He adds that he gave it everything he's got even though he wasn't sure he'd even win because he wants to protect everyone and holding onto that ideal is part of his "desire".
I’m happy this arc helped some of them grow and show the growth of those who already have. Pretty cool.
Random screenshot but I just wanna direct your attention to fluffy Kalego-sensei who is being adorable right now. I cannot take him seriously when he’s like this and even when he’s angry, this form makes it look adorable.
Back to the story.
While all the mess is happening on the surface, Kiriwo-senpai has finally been found by the Six Fingers who are there to help him escape under the orders of Baal. The other escaping inmates are also in the area but still behind bars and Kiriwo-senpai tells them that he never planned to help them escape alongside him and never said he'd do such thing in the first place.
I kinda feel bad for them but they are also bad people so, eh.
Upon donning the same coat the Six Fingers' wear, one of the prisoners had the realization that unlike all of them there who are merely "bad", Kiriwo is actually "evil".
One of the Six Fingers asked why they couldn't just let the prisoners escape, too as it'll help in causing chaos and Kiriwo-senpai answers that seeing the despair the prisoners are gonna be in when they realize they'd never be let out despite going this far will be fun to see. Plus, they're not strong enough and will be caught again anyways.
I missed seeing Kiriwo-senpai’s evil hairstyle. It’s been a while. I guess this answers the question I had back in season 1: Kiriwo-senpai chose to be evil. Sad but I should’ve seen it coming.
Back on the surface, a parade starts and on the float are the heroes who saved Walter Park. While Iruma is properly mentioned, the owner, Rossevelt also shows off his son (Ronove does call him Legend-daddy as in the English word lol). The owner thanks Iruma for saving the park and calls him a hero.
They look alike except for the mustache and hair length. Anime genetics never fail. Does Legend-daddy also sing his own bgm?
Unbeknownst to our heroes, Kiriwo-senpai is around the corner watching the parade. He's surprised to find out that not only was Iruma also at Walter Park at this time but Iruma is also the one to defeat the beast. Instead of being angry at another evil plan foiled, Kiriwo-senpai says that this must be destiny and was happy to see Iruma. He was gonna walk out into the crowd but snaps out of this happy state by a call from Baal.
Senpai really blurs the line between love and hate cause he acts similarly when it comes to Iruma. Congrats to the fans of this ship for getting this scene and also, I still don’t know the ship name for them. How do I tag this?
Back to the phone call, Baal isn't happy that the park still stands. Walter Park is created to vent out demons' evil cycle after all and he has no need for that in his goals as he prefers that the demons go way beyond the evil cycle and just become ultimately evil. Unfortunately for him, the authorities are coming and they can't really do much else so he tells Kiriwo-senpai and the rest to escape already.
After being told to escape, Kiriwo-senpai says that this isn’t the end and declares that he and Iruma will meet again as they are destined enemies.
I guess in Iruma’s harem, he’s the “enemies to lovers” love interest lol.
Iruma looks at the direction where Kiriwo-senpai was but of course, he doesn’t see anything and he’s none the wiser.
Opera gives Iruma back his backpack at the float. As Iruma looks inside for his stuff, he finds the note his grandfather gave him of things he must do on his trip with the final one on the list being "Have fun with everyone!". Iruma looks at his smiling friends and thinks that even though a lot of scary things happened today, he still did have fun with them. Aww so cute!
Iruma gets reunited with his worried grandpa who goes to the hotel to check on him. Iruma says he couldn't go home early as Ronove's dad let them stay at the hotel as thanks for saving the park. Ronove’s dad adds that they are also Sullivan's students so he's happy to give them such things. Iruma tells his grandpa that he's happy and okay and that the teachers and Opera protected them. Grandpa Sullivan decided that the three adults would be given the job of protecting Iruma from now on (and Kalego-sensei felt a chill down his spine elsewhere in the hotel lol).
These two adults are the same. They probably won’t stop talking about their kids if you’re around them. Reminds me of FMA’s Maes Hughes (thought still makes me sad).
While the teachers are discussing information about the attacks, Kalego-sensei goes to his room to find his team on the bed making fun of the stuff he said earlier much to his annoyance. The boys said wanted to stay in the teachers' room as it's better than the room they got but Kalego-sensei quickly kicks them out.
The girls also get rewards and are allowed to get any clothes they wanted which made them happy. Ronove’s dad is pretty generous, huh? Like, I know these guys deserve it for all their hard work but the guy looks so happy that he’d probably still be nice to them even without all the trouble happening.
They are all also given an all-you-can-eat buffet. Iruma eats a ton of food obviously. Clara is having fun at the chocolate fountain thing and Ronove is trying to make Agares eat. Those two got close, huh? lol I wonder if Ronove’s doing this to try and make Agares unattractive or something. It’ll be cool if they became friends though with their very contrasting personalities and all.
While everyone is having fun inside, Iruma leaves without anyone else realizing except for Ameri who decides to follow. They end up at the rooftop by themselves with Ameri trying to calm herself down as she's thinking of romantic stuff as it’s just the two of them. Iruma then reminds Ameri of the question she asked him before about his goal and tells her he finally found one: he wants have fun with everyone. He's willing to change in order to be able to protect that ideal of his. Ameri is happy to see Iruma has grown.
Ameri decided that she also wants to give it her all for her own desires and ambitions. She then tries to tell Iruma something but sadly she gets cockblocked by Clara and Azz both appearing. Ameri gives up for now and tells Iruma to just go with his friends.
Before leaving, Iruma asks Ameri a question - the same thing she was going to ask him earlier! He asks if they could hang out sometimes but just the two of them and she passes out from this lol.
Congratulations to Iruma x Ameri fans for getting a scene like this, too. I also don’t know the ship name for them. Anyways, why is it just the senpais getting a moment with Iruma? Ameri has been getting a lot of moments, too and it’s making me wonder if she’s endgame.
lol also, Ameri is worried about the other female rivals not realizing there’s another threat somewhere else.
While all that teen drama is happening, both Romiere's dad and Iruma's grandpa are being interviewed on tv. The two men then tell everyone how their kids and those kids' friends are the heroes of Walter Park. Since Iruma's name had been specifically mentioned (with everyone knowing the heroes are "Iruma and friends"), there ends up being reporters outside the hotel wanting to see Iruma the next day. Iruma, of course, doesn't like this popularity. With the thought that there may also be reporters waiting at his home, Clara offers to let Iruma stay at her house.
Oooh... will we finally get Iruma x Clara and Iruma x Azz moments as well? Hehehe
There's something new in the ED video by the way! This used to be for Kuromu but now it’s for these boys! Cute!

I’m guessing this is the end of this arc? I wonder what the last one will be since we only have like, what, 6 episodes more? What kind of arc will it be, I wonder cause this one had battles.
Okay, the end where the heroes are mentioned to be “Iruma and friends”, I’m happy and surprised that none of the others were bothered by this at all. No one complained about why Iruma is the only one specifically named. It didn’t cause a fight between the entire group unlike what would’ve happened if this was any other story. I get why Iruma got proper credit as he is the one to end the incident and saved everyone around from being fried but his friends did a lot of work, too and it’d have been better if they were all credited properly in the news. None of them were mad though and are happy that they won because they did their best.
Ronove calling his dad “Legend-daddy” will never not be cute and funny to me. His dad, despite being rich enough to own this entire park, isn’t an annoying, arrogant asshole and I like that. I’m happy that most characters in this show subvert my expectations and they make me like them more.
I’m sorry if I don’t tag ships in my mairuma posts but I don’t know any of the series’ ship names lol. Speaking of ships, as I mentioned before, Ameri’s been getting a lot of moments with Iruma or focus on her growing feelings for Iruma. Kiriwo-senpai only showed up a bit in this arc and got a bit for himself, too. Kuromu and Clara only had a bit when Iruma went evil cycle and I wonder if they’d get more, too. I personally ship him with Azz so I wish they’d gets some moments as well. Eiko gets hers mostly on the “Interval” segments.
So... is it possible to have a mairuma dating sim or not? Look at how many routes are available! XD
Anyways, focus next time is on Clara’s family probably with Iruma spending time there. I expect another Valac Family musical! XD

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun s2 ep16
Guys! Have you already seen the TV size music video for season 2′s OP? avex had just released a music video for “No! No! Satisfaction!” and it has the group DA PUMP in chibi form doing the full dance from the OP and Iruma is also with them! It’s super cute!!
Anyways, the latest episodes got a bunch of stuff happening, huh?
Walter Park is still in chaos due to the monster rampage. Iruma decides he's not gonna sit back and do nothing like everyone else and went to try and save the crying child from earlier. To the amazement of everyone watching, Iruma dodged every large piece of debris that was falling his way all the while carrying a child.
He’s shown this ability way back in season 1 but he’s using it here in this very dire situation all with a child in his arms and both of them are okay. It’s really cool.
When they finally got to a safe space close by, Iruma tells the child to evacuate with everyone else. He then tells his friends that he really had fun the entire day and is very upset at what's happening now. He declares that he would fight back and do something about it. He says goodbye and would do it on his own.
I like the looks of determination on his face. When he was about to leave you can tell he’s nervous but he never voiced it out and still walked on.
Upon hearing his words, the rest of Team Baram decides they would help, too! Azz of course isn’t gonna just leave his Iruma-sama and he’s also upset that he didn’t realize that Iruma is upset. Sabnock on the other hand isn’t just gonna stand there and do nothing when his rival has a plan and he also thinks it’s a good idea. Agares wants to help stop whatever is causing the problem so he could nap peacefully. Sensei of course isn’t gonna leave the kids on their own.
On the other hand, Ronove is dragged with them unwillingly.
Meanwhile, Team Opera is also facing the beast in their area. Opera tells the others to evacuate and says it's his job to protect those dear to Iruma which impressed the kids in their care cause Opera is “a reliable adult”. Opera then battles the monster alone after everyone agreed to leave.
Ameri makes a return in the middle of the fight and tells Opera that she also has a duty to fight as she's the student council president. Opera happily agrees to tag team with her. The two pose back-to-back and were gonna kick ass and be awesome!
Just when they think they have a shot, they see Clara hanging on one of the beast's tail.
Team Kalego is still trying to fight on their end. Camui is commanding a flock of demonic birds nearby to attack the beast as distraction. The others ride a different bird and swoops in close with Lied stealing the beast's hearing.
It is revealed that their current actions are part of Jazz's latest plan. While the beast is freaking out, the boys attack with Goemon defending them. Jazz then uses the opportunity to get to the beast himself.
He uses the Ear-Wrecking Whistle he has which has the power to unleash a powerful soundwave that was given to him by his brother. Lied returns the beast's sense of hearing and Jazz blows on the whistle making the beast pass out.
Side note that it is explained that Jazz’s brother gave him that whistle and said Jazz could use it if he ever gets caught while pickpocketing so he could distract pursuers as he runs away. It’s might be helpful but the brother also mentioned that if Jazz uses it, it means he wasn’t good enough and it’s why he needed it in the first place. Added in the Interval that they made a little bet with Jazz claiming he’d never use the whistle. He is upset when he remembers but I think his reasoning to use it as an offensive weapon instead of a defensive one is pretty cool.
The boys rejoice in their victory with them praising Jazz on his successful plan. Jazz tells them that it wasn't just him but all of them who did really well.
While initially, they only picked Jazz as their leader due to his rank and also cause they don’t want to be on the frontlines, in the end they did respect him. Lied mentioned earlier that they didn’t really think they’d have a chance but hearing Jazz’s plan gave him hope cause it’s just really convincing. They also quickly congratulate and praise him for his plans and it took Jazz himself telling them that they contributed a lot to their victory for them to start praising themselves.
Jazz is pretty humble that he didn’t take all the credit himself even if it was being given to him. Plus it’s very big bro of him when he encouraged and praised them and looked very happy to see them happy about themselves.
Sadly, the win was another temporary one as the beast regain consciousness while they were off-guard. Kalego-sensei quickly went to their defense. As he uses his power to stop the attack aiming for the students, Kalego-sensei tells them they suck at defending and grades them all on their performance. He also mentions that even if they're kind of low, those are passing grades. Sensei then uses Cerberion to defeat the beast.
Kalego-sensei might not be the bestest of all the teachers but he’s not that bad. He let the kids handle things on their own to teach them but he would defend them if the situation is really bad. He actually graded them on their performance and told them what they did wrong and he even gave them passing scores. They all have varying grades depending on what they did which meant he was watching them closely, too.
The group is impressed by Kalego-sensei who then proceeds to place a chair to sit on on the unconscious beast itself. He then tells them that he found that particular event fun and had them take this group photo.
I found this hilarious in a way. He wasn’t having fun at all earlier but did when they had to fight which wasn’t surprising but what he does afterwards is. Who knew sensei likes showing off like this?
At the emergency shelter, Elizabetta and Kerori finds some kids crying which Elizabetta helps to calm down. Upon Kerori sensing everyone else's distress, she decides to change into her demi-dol persona, Kuromu, to try and calm them as well as she says it's her job as an idol to make people happy. She then performs for a cheering crowd.
Kerori is both proud of her work and herself while she also really cares about other people. I like that they showed this side of her character here.
Back at the battle, Ameri uses her bloodline ability: Romanticist. It's the ability to bring out her maximum power once she convinces herself that she's strong. She brings down the beast with it. Opera notes that it is a self-hypnotism magic that relies on the strong will of the user. Kuromu's song plays as very fitting background music while Ameri continues to fight. In the middle of battle, Ameri herself starts singing the song as well as a self-motivator!
It’s awesome how Kuromu’s song suits Ameri. I also found it cool how Ameri starts singing and later on, the two are having a “duet” while in different places. It was fun to watch!
Ameri successfully renders the creature unconscious. Opera is very impressed at this and praises Ameri. Opera then asks if she wants to work for Sullivan after she graduates. Ameri declines as she has already decided that she'd work with her father... at least until realization hit her that if she works for Sullivan, she'd be living under the same roof as Iruma. She then tells Opera that she'll think about the offer cause she might change her mind.
Opera isn’t a teacher but I like what they told Ameri. Ameri says she isn’t that strong yet but Opera tells her that she’s young and not being perfect meant she still has room to grow.
Also, Ameri’s imagination runs wild when she realized that she’d be living with Iruma if she works for them. She’d have to cook for Iruma and it’d be like marriage! So cute!
They also talk to Clara asking why she even came back and the girl answers she wanted to give a weapon if need be. Opera then asks her for a "secret weapon". I wonder what it is and what for? Hmm...
Back to Team Baram, Iruma and Agares have successfully located the trapped kids and are about to help them get out of the rubble. On the other hand, Azz and Sabnock are preparing for battle.

A lot of stuff happened in one episode and by that I meant that even certain scenes have little things in them that is worth mentioning. It’s nice how even with all of these content the episode doesn’t feel rushed or cramped.
Iruma and the gang has to deal with the beast on their end next week since the other two groups have already won their battle. After that, it’d be the threat of the Six Fingers. I’m excited for that and also the main trio seeing Kiriwo-senpai again!
Again, I like how the second season showcases all of the other characters. They have a big cast to work with and it’s nice to see bits and pieces of their abilities and personalities being given the limelight.
