My replaying chapter 1 + the newest girl girl post from the ARG made me have a bit of a retrospection on Susie, particularly when it comes to a certain analysis of her character in chapter 1 (and one I used to agree with). That being “She only bullied reactively.”

Susie DOES bully when provoked, that much is true. But thats only part of a larger truth. It doesn’t fully account for all the times she thrashes Darkners indiscriminately, or how she threatens not only Kris but Lancer as well. What’s also important is that Chapter 1 makes a BIG point of showing that Susie’s guard is CONSTANTLY up — she even admits this as a flaw of hers near the end of the chapter. It’s why she immediately assumes the worst of Kris during the hallway scene in the beginning (and then threatens them with the whole face-eating bit) — and also why she reacts so horribly to Lancer imprisoning her, Ralsei, and Kris.

So really a more accurate read of her character would be “Susie does bully and threaten when provoked — but she views EVERYTHING as a provocation.”

(It doesn’t hurt that she’s suddenly found herself with an axe in the Dark World, so now she has a substantial means to inflict hurt on anyone she thinks might even remotely have a reason to threaten her)

#at this point in time susie truly thinks everyone is out to get her. god #again. this is pre-chapter 2 era Susie I’m talking about #as we’ve all seen she’s getting better now. she’s healing :) #also not saying anything she did was remotely okay. I’m just providing insight #the n3w3st g1rl g1rl #this is probably really messy. but here you go

I was looking at the link title the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl. It's just so odd-looking. Replacing letters with numbers is usually a Spamton thing, so we would have "[[THE N3W3ST G1RL!!!]]" But repeating the last word is mostly a Jevil thing, "THE NEWEST GIRL, GIRL!" (Not that Spamton doesn't speak like this- "SALES GONE DOWN THE [Drain, drain]"- but nowhere near as often as Jevil.)

Did Jevil and Spamton both pick up on variations in speech patterns from the same person? Who could it be?

And at this point, somewhat ironically, I don't think it's Gaster, despite all their connections to him. We've never seen him talk like this. He talks stiffly, but he uses proper grammar and spelling. The fact is, we've yet to meet a character that uses both speech idiosyncrasies at the same time. And besides, if it was Gaster or someone related to Gaster, I would expect it to be in all caps.
