BRABRABRA GALA-a celebration of 10 years of Brabrabra!
With much surprise to us, we realized that Brabrabra has been around for 10 years! It has been a wonderful adventure, that brings us closer as friends, makes us discover new places and bands, and connect us with a lot of people.
One year after our debut album “Mango”, Kitchen Leg records released "Mangold" a compilation containing covers of our songs played by musician friends…we ended up with almost three times the length of our album! So, there is no better occasion than our 10th anniversary to play our soon-to-be-recorded new album and to invite friends to play our old songs in their own style and interpretation!
Of course there will be dancing too.
It will be a GALA: bring your more glamorous outfit, and we will provide a red carpet for you!

[#] Long time no news entry! Here’s some!
[#] First an unpleasant thing. Deutsche Post increased massively the cost of the so-called “Buch und Wären Sendung”, the small packages that you typically received with out tapes. The cost to ship to the US will be close to 9 €! In order to not shift all the cost to our fans oversees, we had to increase the cost of tapes to 6 €. We didn’t want to join the speculation crowd, but it is really Deutsche Post that forced us to do that.
[#] After a very excellent show in West Germany almost two weeks ago, where they presented also some new songs, Halfsilks will play Fusion Festival this week end, they will be on stage Saturday. In the same festival you ca catch also Jana’s solo Point No Point and Karen’s band Gym Tonic. And, as usual, a lot of very great music, and an inimitable atmosphere.

[#] We are very happy to announce that we will release a second album from the terrific Earthlogoff. The album is called “Tritium” and sound like an earthquake. Catch them live Saturday July 9th in Kopi!
[#] September 21th is the release date of Matching Outfits first tape, called “A Band Made Out Of Sand”. It features 9 wonderful pop tunes, mastered by Brian Pyle, and you will all be in love with them!

We are very excited to announce the first ever concert of La Verge Rose, the new group of Rosa Fernandes and Mat Pogo. Invited by the dynamic crew of the Sunday Matinée, which finally resumes its activities after the long pandemic break.
The concerts will take place on Sunday afternoon in the magical garden of Villa Kuriosum right on the border between Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg in Berlin. The stage will be shared with an acoustic set by The Post Spiderhole Ensemble and Notorische Ruhestörung and Flaviu Tilinca performing Kurt Schwitters' Ursonate.
La Verge Rose has just released 'Limbo Languido' inaugurating 100 Hunde, a new series from our label Burp Publications.

Goat-fish visions, dystopian bliss, post-punk roots and new age shoots combine to shape the microuniverse of Ultrabonus, a band (un)known for their fast and short tunes with lyrics in Spanish and involuntary low profile. Based around Argentinian Ignatz B’s quick-fire songwriting, the group is completed by Michael (guitar/bass), Leah (bass/synth) and Edu (drums), of Berlin’s forever-mutating indie scene. After five EPs and a row of high energy shows in the memorable summer of 2022, Ultrabonus forge ahead, careful not to step on their own heels.

Recorded in November 2020, “El Gimnasio en Casa” was the first work of Ultrabonus as a band. This double EP, now released on tape by Kitchen Leg Records, offers subliminal clues about how to stay in some kind of shape for those without the need or desire to.
Spiderhole duo is a spin-off of the Berlin trio The Post Spiderhole Ensemble. First show ever!!!

[#] Happy Saint Peter and Paul! So long we don’t write news. But here we go!
[#] First something unpleasant. We hate to be part of the inflation/speculation party going on, but Deutsche Post increases the cost for shipment of small packages out of EU of 150%, making the cost insane. We decided to increase the cost of tapes from 5 to 6 € in order to put less strain on our non-EU costumers. Hope you all will understand. It is important to pay for music, but we want to be fair.
[#] Our Halfsilks will play Fusion this week end! They will be on stage Thu evening. If you are attending the festival, you can also catch performances by Jana’s band Point No Point and Karen’s band Gym Tonic.
[#] We are happy to announce the release of Earthlogoff second tape, called “Tritium”. It sounds like an earthquake! Be sure to not miss their show in Kopi, Berlin Saturday 09.07.
[#] Two shows scheduled for the Mumbles in the near future: 31.07 at Your Guts Festival in Hamburg and 24.09 at the event Ghost Town Berlin, to revisit independent spaces existing in the city and reviving them for a day. They will play in front of the former Bronx, close to Görli.
[#] Also, we can announce that we are thrilled to release the debut album of Matching Outfits. It is called “Band Made Out Of Sand” and it is truly a pop wonder. The release party will be in Marie Antoinette on 21.09, kick off for their tour in Sweden!
[#] More releases coming up: we will also release the tape version of "El gymnasio en la casa” by Ultrabonus. What we can say, was love at the first sight! Catch them in Ausland at PIA Festival on 07.07 along side of a lot of other great act, also open air!
[#] The Sunday Matinee is alive and kickin, and the next one will be 24.07 in the garden. It is very special for us because it will be the first show of the newly formed The Post Spiderhole Ensemble!
