Temporary Escape - Part 1
A/N: This fic has been and still is a work in progress. For seven years this has been on simmer. I picked it up again last year and wrote it religiously for MONTHS. And it is still not finished. So I'm posting this to push myself to finally finish it.
Oh, and I got myself in a right muddle because I started writing it before Mox went to AEW but it was all set when he was still in The Shield so he's Dean in this throughout.
Send words of encouragement. I. Need. To. Finish. It.
Seth Rollins/OC/Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley)
---
The hotel bar is dowdier and gloomier than I expected. Dotted around are the usual crowd I see the world over - the usual men in suits, sitting on their cellphones making calls to their families, lovers, and business partners. Then there’s the small gaggle of women on a trip out of town, having a solitary cocktail while waiting for the final friend to join them before they make their way out to a more exciting venue. A few tables down sits the elderly couple, visiting family or friends who didn’t want to impose, chose the hotel over the spare room.
And then there’s me. Depending on the location, sometimes I’m the only solo woman.
I make my way to the solitary barman stood cleaning glasses in an attempt to look busy. He raises his head as he sees me approach, asking without words what I want.
“Gin and tonic. Room 414.”
He nods, taking a newly polished glass and placing it in front of me. I pull out my phone and stare silently at my email inbox whilst he mixes the drink. I look up at the laughter that erupts through the still air and see the group of women making their way towards the lobby and out into the night.
Taking my drink, I head towards the corner that has just been vacated. Here I have the perfect vantage point over the bar and room -  experience has told me that it is better to see unwanted attention coming my way rather than be blindsided by staying at the bar or picking a central table. I’ve also learnt that going straight to the bar in my full business attire isn’t the best idea either - that also seems to attract a certain type of man who thinks busines attire means up for a good time away from home. So instead, when I’m done with whichever business I’m in town to meet, I head back to the hotel and straight to my room to change into jeans and a sweatshirt before venturing to the bar or restaurant.
And yet, I inwardly grimace as I see one suited and booted man glance in my direction, his gaze lingering longer than necessary, it still doesn’t seem to work.
I watch out of the corner of my eye as the man rises, stretches, his shirt slipping from the waistband of his pants. He weaves through the tables towards the bar, gesturing to the barman for another beer and then:
“Is this seat taken?”
“No. But if you’re going to ask if you can take it, then the answer is also no.”
“I thought you could do with some company.”
“You thought wrong.”
He’s about to answer, when there’s a wolf-whistle from the lobby and a burst of laughter. We both look over and I can see the group of women are still huddled there, looking at something just out of sight. I watch as one of them breaks away from the group and teeters over in too-high heels. Her friends hang back, watching, still giggling to each other.
“C’mon, just one drink.” The man is reaching for the chair opposite me.
“No. I’ve got work. And you,” I look at his hand. “Are married. Go and call your wife.”
“It’s just a fucking drink.” His eyes narrow. “I was being polite.”
“I don’t care. I don’t want a drink with you.”
Behind him, I can see the women have moved on, the laughter has faded.
“I don’t want to fuck you or anything.”
I raise an eyebrow. “Great, now we’re on the same page.”
Two more people have entered the bar. No, three.
“Fucking bitch,” the man mutters.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard. I was being polite.”
I frown. “I was minding my own business. You disturbed me and then proceeded to call me a fucking bitch. How is that even remotely polite?”
His lips curl into a snarl. “Whore.”
“Hey,” a new voice calls out and I feel a familiar shiver down my spine. “Get the hint, man. She’s not interested.”
The man turns. “Who asked-” he falters.
I peer around him, my heart pounding. It can’t be.
Three men. One of them is my ex-lover.
Or rather, I think with a rare flush of embarrassment, all of them are.

Y/N smiled as she finished up a coloring page for for her caregivers, one for Seth, one for Roman and one for Dean. She smiled proud and put them to the side waiting for them to come home, they were coming from tour and she was so excited to see them. She went to Deans room getting one of his shirts, noticing that the rooms were kind of messy. She bit her lip and sighed not really feeling like it but she went ahead and cleaned his room, she made the bed up, picked up clothes and picked up trash. She did the same with Roman but Seth’s room wasn’t messy so she didn’t worry on it. She sighed a bit tired and turned on the tv watching some Disney movies.
Not realizing she fell asleep the boys came in, they checked a camera of the home seeing her sound asleep on the coms. They walked in silent and turned down the tv, seeing the presents and cookies she made for their return. Dean saw his room was fixed up and Roman was amazed at his. Seth saw that she did some touching up in his. “She was being a big girl while we were gone.” Seth said proud. They heard whining and peeked seeing a waking up Y/N sniffling almost about to cry. “Hey pretty girl~” Roman greeted first getting her and picking her up rubbing her back. “Papas..” she whimpered. She calmed down as Seth and Dean kissed her cheeks. “We love the gifts you gave us munchkin.” Dean said giving her an extra kiss on her nose. She giggled hiding in Romans shoulder.
“And I’m sorry we got back so late, our bus was late.” Seth said rubbing her cheek lovingly. “But we got you some stuff from the road babygirl.” Roman smirked and she started moving around. “Ok ok take it easy let’s go.” They took her back to the living room. Seth opened a briefcase getting out a gaming console, games, activity books, more crayons and a new tiara. She squealed excited and hugged the boys one by one. “Thank chus..” she smiles shedding tears. “I’ll hook this up so you can play some, Seth is gonna make your favorite, then we all get rest.” Dean smirked tickling her and the boys got started.
“Daddy no you cheating!” Seth looked up seeing Dean beat thier little in another mini game, “Babygirl I’m not I swear.” He smirked as he was just better at the game. But the smirk set her out making her she’s tears. Dean sighed hugging her close as she was trying to push him off. “Roman she won’t let me cuddle her.” Roman picked her up next giving a look. “Now mamas, you know he was just playing the game, not cheating.” She looked down wiping her tears. “But I nots good at the game…” Seth finished up the dinner sighing. “Babygirl you’re better at other stuff, like art and baking. I love the cookies you made.” Seth compliments and her mood sprung up. When she get compliments from Seth about baking or cooking it’s a big deal. “There’s that pretty smile. Daddy’s sorry for cheating.” Dean smiled finishing up one of the cookies. She licked her tongue out giggling as Roman tickled her. “Ok ok enough let’s get you some food in ya belly.” Seth started fixing plates for everyone to earth with.
After dinner, she was cuddled on Seth straddling him slowly getting tired. “Yea she’s sleepy.” Seth whispered. “N-no I’m nots…” Dean smirked. “Want a bedtime story than munchkin?” She smiled nodding and he picked her up next heading to his room getting her ready for bed. He pulled out a book from her trunk as Roman and Seth put her stuff away. “Ok, I feel like I can guess it, hmmm the queen wants to hear a Cinderella story?” She giggled. “Nooo I wanna hear Tiana.” “I should guessed better, I owe you some ice cream.” She smiled and laid down soon getting kisses from Roman and Seth. “We will see ya tomorrow ok mamas?” Roman smiles walking out with Seth. “We love you babygirl.” They closed the door and Dean started to read her story. Her eyes started to get heavy she was trying to fight sleep but she soon was fast asleep in deans bed. “Night munchkin. Papa loves you.” Dean turned off the light snuggling with her.
He could have sworn he heard a faint-
Thank you.

Temporary Escape - Part 2
A/N: Let's get on with it shall we? This story jumps around a bit back and forth in time and will do throughout. If you missed part 1, take a read.
Just a reminder, Dean is Dean in this, not Mox. This is how long it has taken me to write this.
Words of encouragement are always appreciated!
Seth Rollins/OC/Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley)
---
Like all stories of love, it started when a girl met a boy. Only the boy was an up-and-coming talent in the biggest sports entertainment company. And the girl was just minding her business whilst manning the reception desk at her family’s gym.
I was standing, perma-grin in place, four hours deep into a ten-hour shift when the door swung open and he walked in. I remember his hair was pulled back into a thick knot at the base of his neck, one side blonde, the other dark. He had sunglasses that he had pulled down to scan the place before he spotted me.
“Hey,” he peers at my name badge. “Maddy?”
“Welcome, how can I help?” I smile, my jaw already aching.
He flashes me a smile back and I curse the faint flutter in the pit of my stomach “So I just moved to the area and I’m looking for a gym.”
“Well, you’ve come to the right place,” I nod towards the double-doors leading to the main gym floor.
“Yeah,” he chuckles. “So where do I sign?”
“Don’t you want a tour first?”
He shakes his head and then stops and glances around. “If I say yes, does this get you extra brownie points with your boss or…”
“No.”
He pauses and then shrugs. “I’ll take the tour anyway.”
I eye him suspiciously, but move out from behind the desk anyway and gesture for him to follow.
“So as you can see, you’ve got your standard cardio machines, treadmills, bikes and so on.”
He trails behind me and out of the corner my eye I can see he’s not even looking. In fact, his gaze seems to be solely on… I curse the broken dryer in my building which meant I had to resort to the uniform skirt rather than shorts today.
“And over here,” I turn to meet his eye instead. “We have the weight machines and then the free weights area.”
He has the decency to blush ever so faintly and I’m surprised by both the show of humility and my lack of annoyance that he was staring at my ass in the first place.
“Any questions?”
He shakes his head. “Seems to be a no nonsense kinda place. I like it.”
“That’s us, straight up, no frills.”
“Where do I sign?”
Back in reception, I hand him a branded clipboard, pen and form to complete. I stare at the computer screen, pretending to be occupied whilst he fills out his details.
“Is there a card I need for access or…?” He asks as he hands back the paperwork.
“Yeah, it’ll be ready by tomorrow morning,” I glance down at the clipboard. “Mr Rollins.”
“Seth.”
“Seth. Right. Well, I guess I’ll see you around.” I make a start on entering his details on the system.
He nods, drumming his fingers absentmindedly on the desk. “Thanks for the tour.”
“No worries.”
I can sense him still lingering so I look back up from the computer. “Anything else I can help you with?”
He’s about to answer when the door leading to the manager’s office opens and I see my father making his way over. “Maddy, I can’t make head nor tail of this new ass filing system. The computer keeps shuttin’ me out, something about an administrator password or somethin’, can you give me a hand?”
“I’ll be there in a minute,” I call back, giving Seth what I hope is an apologetic smile. Between watching my dad type one-fingered versus helping a new customer, it doesn’t even matter if said customer was eyeing up my ass a few minutes earlier, I’d still take it.
Dad rounds the desk anyway and starts to peer at the computer next to me. “Will this one do the same?”
“Give me five minutes and I’ll help you. I’m trying to help our newest member,” I gesture towards Seth.
Dad glances up and does a double-take. “Seth Rollins? In my gym? Sir, it’s a pleasure to have you with us. My name’s Bill, I head up this establishment.” I watch, puzzled as Dad extends his hand and Seth shakes it. “Me and the guys, we’ve come down to a few shows, you’re a talent my friend. Surely though, you’ve got a state of the art gym over at the Performance Centre?”
Seth chuckles. “Thank you, i appreciate it. And sure, it’s a decent place but it can get pretty busy and sometimes you just gotta have your own space.”
“Well you are more than welcome. I take it Maddy gave you the tour of our facilities - they’re pretty basic, but hey, we don’t get any complaints.”
“She did,” Seth nods. “She’s a credit to your business.”
Dad chuckles. “She is the business, father and daughter making it work, ain’t that right Maddy?”
Seth meets my gaze and I swear for a split second there’s a flicker of something - realisation, confusion, confliction? Whatever it is passes as quickly as it came. “Family business huh? I like it. I reckon there’s a few guys on the roster who might be interested in coming down.”
“More the merrier!” Dad is practically jumping for joy and his energy is still buzzing after Seth exits. “Maddy, you make sure to give him and any of the other guys he brings here anything they want.”
Needless to say that at some point, I took that to the extreme.
---
Present Day
“Maddy?” Seth stares at me incredulously. “What the-”
“Hey, do you mind?” Married Man has decided to stand his ground despite the interruption. “We were having a conversation.”
“Yeah, I don’t think calling a woman a whore is a good conversation starter,” Roman says stepping forward, folding his arms across his chest and cocking his head to one-side.
“What are you, her bodyguard?”
“Oh dude, you really should quit whilst you’re ahead,” Dean chuckles as he stands shoulder to shoulder with Roman. “C’mon, take your beer, go to your room, jerk off and leave it at that huh?”
Married Man bristles. “Who the fuck do you think you are?”
“What’s he got, shit for brains?” Dean mutters, but loud enough for all to hear. “Either you leave or we make you leave. Got it?”
There’s a pause and then. “Fine.”
“Y’know if you wanted to finish this conversation on a polite note, you’d apologise,” Roman nods towards me.
“Fine. Sorry,” Married Man barely gives me a glance as he shuffles around the imposing threesome and hastily exits the bar.
I exhale a breath that I hadn’t realised I was holding and run a hand through my hair. My hand is trembling and I’m not sure it’s entirely down to the insults thrown my way.
“Maddy,” Seth is saying as he approaches. “What the hell are you doing here?”
I manage to compose myself enough to stand, his arms enveloping me in a familiar embrace. “I could ask the same of you.” His lips brush against my cheek as he holds me to him for a brief moment.
Dean and Roman pull me into hugs of their own and as we all take our seats around the table, I feel dizzy at the combination of all their scents. It’s intoxicating and I fight back the memories that it stirs within me.
“Dean moved out here a year ago and we happened to be in town,” Seth explains.
“You finally left Vegas? Or did Vegas leave you?”
Dean chuckles. “Both. I got myself a wife, a daughter.”
“All grown up, huh?” I laugh. “Let me see?” I gesture at his phone.
He obliges and I’m treated to a few photos of him with a beautiful blonde, his arms wrapped tightly around her and then a fair-haired baby girl who grins up at the camera from her play mat.
“Gorgeous, the pair of them,” I tell him. “And you?” I say to Roman.
“Same. Wife, kids. A girl, twin boys.”
“And another set on the way,” chimes in Seth.
“Wow, you have been busy,” I tease as Roman hands me a phone, a relaxed family portrait on the screen showing him with a dark-haired bombshell and three kids that clearly have inherited their father’s flawless facial bone structure. “Beautiful,” I tell him.
I glance at Seth, expecting him to tell me of his own wife and kids but he shakes his head.
“Oh no. I’m free as a bird. More than happy in my honorary uncle status.”
Huh. Not the answer I was expecting but I’m not sad to hear it either. He meets my gaze steadily but only for a second before looking away.
“So how comes you’re out here?” Roman asks and I wonder if the change of subject is deliberate or just curiosity.
“Work,” I tell him. “We got bought out by one of the big chains about five years ago, I progressed up into their corporate office and now I spend most of my time travelling to check out potential new sites for purchase, take-over, franchises.”
“How’s your dad?” Dean asks.
I feel my face falter. “He passed away last year.”
“Shit,” I hear Seth murmur. “I’m so sorry Maddy.” Out of the corner of my eye, I see his hand start to move towards mine and then he hesitates and clearly rethinks his actions.
Dean and Roman offer their condolences and ask tentatively what happened.
“He was ill for a while. It’s one of the reasons we decided to take the buy-out offer. I couldn’t do it on my own and I didn’t want to. He was the heat and soul of that place. It wouldn’t have been the same to carry on without him being a part of it.”
They all nod and then raise their beers in a toast. I smile, warmed by the gesture. Dad had been fond of them all, having spent many hours watching them rise through the ranks and I remember, with a pang of guilt, when I told him that Seth and I were no longer seeing each other and seeing the flicker of disappointment at the realisation that neither he, Dean or Roman would likely drop by again.
I’d felt the disappointment myself. But my relief that it was over most certainly trumped it.

✨Age Regression Edition✨
Tumblr media
* The shield are all different types of Caregivers! So it depends on how you are to be handled that day.
* Seth is a Strict yet Soft caregiver. He has a special water bottle for you to make sure you drink it through the day, alarm for meds, he wants you to be engaged so you have to cook your food with daddy. You have activity books as well. You get stickers when you do good jobs! And if you finish all your water, you get any sweets you want! “Ok buttercup, a deal is a deal. But only one. You did good today and I’m very proud of you.”
* Roman is a soft caregiver but possessive. He makes sure he is always with you. Same rules with Seth, drink your water, stay productive. He loves to color with you and do science activities being amazed in how smart you are praising you. “Baby! That’s awesome! You’re so smart princess.” He loves going outside with you, watching you go around and explore.
* Dean is a caregiver. Theres no soft or strict. He makes sure you’re having a fun time. He loves your imagination. He’s willing to play any character you want. But that times where you get loud and fussy he reminds you that’s not a way to communicate. “You don’t like it when daddy yells, remember? Then princess shouldn’t yell.”
* Punishments vary. But most of the time it’s corner time or they take your phone/iPad away.
* When you have bad days or Nightmares, Dean mostly comforts you.
* If you slip while you go out, they protect you. Keeping you in eyes view or take you back to the car so you don’t have a panic attack.
* You can never pick a favorite. They have always been there for you. And they love you all the same.
* And when it comes to shows, you watch backstage since it’s a lot to be around people. Cheering your daddies on.
