I'm on my knees begging perisex trans people to just be normal about intersex people for once and to stop throwing us under the bus with your activism.

We are not "hermaphrodites." Hermaphrodite is a slur in the context of intersex people.

We are not your transition goals, stop fetishizing us or talking about wanting to "transition to be intersex." It's okay to want to transition to mixed genitalia, but the correct terms for that are things like 'altersex' and 'salmacian.' Intersex is something that you are born with, not that you transition to.

We are not your gotchas for arguments against transphobes.

Intersex animals are not nonbinary icons just because of their sex.

Not all of us are multigender or nonbinary and not all of us are cisgender. Again, our experience is incredibly diverse. Some of us are cis, some of us are trans, some of us are multigender, some of us are nonbinary, and so on.

Intersex children can and often do get forced sex reassignment surgery. Stop erasing the abuse of intersex children when you're trying to argue against transphobes. (eg. "No kid is being forced to change their sex.")

Stop ignoring the way that right-wingers target intersex people ALONGSIDE trans people. We're not poor little cis people that just happen to also be affected- we're being directly targeted alongside trans people. They see us as a threat just as they see trans people as a threat.

Edit to add this in regards to the most recent tide of intersexist bullshit on this site: AFAB intersex people can be transfem. AMAB intersex people can be transmasc. Stop using terms coined by intersex people to explain our experiences against us. Stop using our language to gatekeep our identities when you have no clue what our experiences are.

I have been over this on my blog. Many, many times. In-depth.

I believe the experiences people are describing are real experiences, however I believe they should use a different term and not "transintersex", as you cannot transition to intersex, that's just... Not what the word intersex means, by definition you need to acquire those characteristics without any controlled external influence in order to fall under the intersex umbrella.

If you do not fit that, it does not mean your experience is not valid, it just means you are not intersex.

There are other terms people have coined, such as salmacian, bigenital, altersex, among others, and I'm sure you could coin your own, non-intersex-related terms as well. People do it all the time.

Also, please do not call me a TERF. This is not accurate to my beliefs or identity, and compares me to my abusers and oppressors. I do not appreciate it.

Aside from being inaccurate, it digs up trauma memories I would rather not think about right now. I am not a TERF.

If you'd look at my blog for more than two seconds, you'd see I'm actually nearly constantly arguing with TERFs who just will not get off my back for my posts about intersex identities. I despise TERFs.

I am a genderqueer intersex transsexual. I am very open about this. I was kicked out of my house by transphobic parents as a child for being transgender/transsexual and was made homeless at 17.

I have been a part of queer spaces, queer community, and queer advocacy for the better part of a decade now. I actively fight for the rights of queer individuals, create resources for others, actively try to get gender-affirming care and clothing for those individuals I know personally, try to keep others in my personal life up-to-date with laws or healthcare changes when it comes up so they stay safe, and always speak out against any kind of hate or discrimination against our community.

I feel you do not grasp the meaning of the words you are calling others and placing traumatized oppressed minorities among the same ranks as oppressors openly identifying with hate groups.

That is extremely bad faith and hurts people. I hope you grow to be a better person and realize you aren't performing queer advocacy, you just sent hatemail to a genderqueer intersex person on tumblr.com.

Learn how to block people instead of making your hatred my problem.

Tbh I really don't like the whole "don't use altersex, the creator was intersexist!!" thing as an intersex AND altersex person.

Like, is the term itself as it is currently being used by the majority of people intersexist? From what I have observed, no. Is the creator getting money OR recognition for the term? Only in this discourse are they even getting recognition.

Nevermind the wanting to distance altersex from intersex because "it's not transitioning to be intersex".

I already am intersex. I am also intergender. I get dysphoric from the fact that my sex characteristics don't match my perception of my intergender. I am transitioning so that my sex better matches the gender that is influenced by my being intersex. It's complicated.

(This is not to say that there's ANY specific way to be intersex by the way. Just that for me personally there's a complicated interplay between my intersex identity, gender identity, and altersex identify.)

Especially when the alternatives offered are either ones almost no one knows; salmacian, which is explicitly a SPECIFIC subset of altersex identities; or aldernic, which is broader than altersex.

Idk, maybe we can just not do label discourse, especially when the label itself isn't even the harmful thing.

And here's the thing: even if altersex as a label WERE harmful because the creator was intersexist... people who are both, like me, would have every right to reclaim it. Anyone who tries to tell an intersex person they can't reclaim it, even if they are also intersex themself, is definitely not acting in good faith.

Anyway, fuck label discourse. Just don't BE intersexist. That matters far more than a word. I'd rather perisex people focus their energy on educating themselves about intersexism and stuff than worry so much about a word that's not even a slur.

I'm a bi lesbian and a transsexual/salmacian (altersex), I started my process of detransitioning from being FTM/binary transmasc a few months ago but I still consider myself apart of the trans community, and I'm also Genderqueer & GNC. use only she/he pronouns for me. Any terms are fine but rn I perfer fem & neutral publically, masc terms are often reserved for my partners & my wife.

I'm 23 in system currently, my birthday is May 13th, but bodily we are 21 years old. This account will be 18+ so MINORS DON'T INTERACT

I'm apart of a polyfragmented DID system, and I'm a subsystem myself. Having said that, this blog is meant for just me and my insane posts lol.

While being in a DID system, Me and the rest of us are fully in support of endogenics and non traumagenic systems. we believe in plurality regardless of origin so If you're anti endo stay as far away from us as possible, we won't hesitate.

My biggest interests are mechanical engineering, computer sciences, robotics, video games & a few other things.

I deal with auDHD, BPD, HPD, and P-OCD/Health OCD. If you believe that people with PDs are abusive, especially those with cluster b PDs, and ESPECIALLY for HPD, ASPD & NPD, Fuck off, and if you think those with P-OCD/Z-OCD are pedophiles/zoos, go away also. we're mentally ill and traumatized, and this is how it manifested. I am no more harmful than anyone else, and I am definitely not a pedophile for having a severe anxiety disorder around the FEAR and ANXIETY of being a pedo and being the same as our abusers. We're a grooming/online CSA victim as well, and we can not control or predict how this trauma and mental illness manifests, but we are in treatment right now for these things.

I'm polyamorous, and I'm in a relationship with @transfemgirldick a couple of others apart of the Sunny/Occult System (@vampiricangels) so while I will post about nsfw and kink, I will not respond to sexual and romantic advances, but some playful/non serious flirting and joking is fine, just respect me and my partners

I may post about sexual content and kinks, so as a warning you might see hornyposting on here.

My current special interests involves the band Ghost, Minecraft (Hermitcraft adjacent), Pokemon and Pizza Tower.

My DNI list is long, and I have a banner that I'll be posting on all of my original posts, but in general DNI if youre a terf or radfem, map/pedo, radqueer (like transid/pro and complex contact paraphile/proshipper/etc), yanderecore or traumacore blog, anti endo, anti mspec lesbians/gays, and in general being a bigoted shithole.

As a detransitioning/retransitioning person I understand people will have biases about us, and I understand we are often used as transphobic rhetoric by radfems and terfs, but Not every one of us are suddenly transphobic OR cisgender when we detransition/retransition. DNI if you're again detrans people OR are into detrans kink. Fuck off with that.
