Love your fics btw!! A relatively small number of Deltarune fics actually have Darkners using their magic regularly (or at all) and it's really cool to see in yours

honestly, spamton is the sort of guy who id imagine is so uber-focused on his schemes and neo, he doesn't care much for what unenlightened darkners are going through, and if anything he'd find some cruel, ironic humor in it considering the werewires are being controlled by queen, who's another darkner. Having a greater understanding of what's truly going on, the werewires' control is small potatoes to him, which is why he doesn't care about having them being additional victims of noelle's freeze sweep in snowgrave so he can take over the mansion.

yet i could also see it as unnerving him too, as his encounter with Kris immediately has him talking about his [[Silly Strings]], but what they have in common that the werewires dont is that they're both controlled by a higher power outside of the dark world, beyond their influence. Because he is unnerved, perhaps he's extra cautious of avoiding the werewires over other cyber city darkners.

Also, some werewires don't mind being controlled in the gameplay and they're totally chill with it, going about their lives when Queen isn't controlling them in the moment, so I can imagine a funny scenario of Spamton tryna get some help from some plugboys/werewires to get into the mansion in exchange for his help cutting their ties to Queen, but he's rlly shady about it and the answer he gets is a hard No. Like, they may be peons of Queen, but they trust her more than some smelly unhinged salesman who scared them half to death by leaping out of some manhole in the ground.

also tysm!! that means a lot :D! their magic was the highlight of their characters for me (particularly spamton's) because it's all just so goofy and cool at the same time. I love writing it so i'm glad hearing ppl like it!

Sweet Cap'n Cakes Fic Idea Rambles

I don't really have anyone to talk to about my ideas, so to Tumblr I go

I really enjoy ideas where Sweet Cap'n Cakes are actually portrayed doing something against Queen, even if Queen isn't fully aware of how her actions to maintain order are hurting people around her. Especially because she's a computer, things like irrationality, chaotic nature and the way that Sweet Cap'n Cakes act would certainly be something that she'd be opposed to. So why not try to fix that issue, why not do what she had already been doing with the werewires and simply,, throw a wire on?

I know this concept has already been done but MAN it just brings me so much brain worms that part of me really wants to make a fic on it!! Or draw it!! But my art just isn't good enough and my writing isn't either compared to so much amazing talent on this site that part of me already feels discouraged before I even start. Alas it's not much I can really do much about so I'm going to try my best to see if I can write this idea.

ough,, my apologies. I kind of want Cakes to be the one to get wired for multiple reasons. I guess the more practical reason is that they're honestly my favorite to write about and I have more experience writing for them. (Not only that but I basically see K_K as me so angst is extremely self indulgent.) I suppose in terms of writing, it makes sense that K_K would be the first one Queen would try to wire in terms of their position in the band! Despite not being the leader, they're the mediator of Sweet Cap'n Cakes. Sweet and Cap'n look up to them, so without K_K making sure that arguments don't get too heated and the two obviously being very stressed about their partner now suddenly being controlled, fights are bound to happen!

Imagine what would happen if the three were forced to fight each other! Or if Queen perhaps tried to wire one of the other two as well, or if somehow K_K's true self bubbled up to the surface again,, I need to shut up before I explode but god I love the funky robots so much <3

What was your favorite part of chapter 2 and favorite characters of it? i really liked the Giga Queen fight and Spamton (yeah i know Spamton is overrated but what else can i say, i like his backstory, speech pattern, and just looks like a fun character overall even his design), overall i really liked the other enemies, but i don't think i REALLY liked them that much like is not huge on tier list, aside from Queen she is great, then again my fav Undertale character is Froggit so what can i say.

The shipper in me definitely loved all the Suselle stuff like the ferris wheel, and yeah Queen just stole the show with so many absolutely hilarious lines. The Giga Queen fight was fun even if I died a LOT to it the first time I played!

I really liked the design for the werewires, that was just a fun mix of colorful and unsettling. All the others were pretty decent, too.
