"If its all you want" Your voice are calm but anyways you slammed the table and stand up, let your untouched cup of coffe on the table spilled.

Your (ex) boyfriend shook that you not even show him any expression. You just act professional and your face just calm. Its because you know he cheated on you for a long time ago. You just pretend to blind your eyes with those pain. You tired of this.

He just stay still at his place, not even move. He pissed off a bit of what you said

"What the fuck this cup of coffe doing at this bench?" You said at yourself. Who puts a cup full of coffe and leaves it alone? Is it funny and weird at the same time?

"WHAT THE- WHAT DID YOU DO!" You flinch when you hear the man wearing a black tshirt shout at you. He walking towards you. His face is red and thats mean he are very angry right now.

"What you do with my coffe?" oh no you are in the big trouble right now. There is a 7 billion peoles in this universe but why always you get into the problem?

"Im sorry! I didnt mean it! And who the fuck put their own things and leave it alones!" You raised your voice and rolled your eyes. Anyways, you have to face it

”Oh god! I leave it alone because I have to buy something. Cant you beware of something! I waited for this coffe a long time ago” tsk, how funny, you thought.

“I didnt notice it when I sit at here! Dont just blame on me”

"Did you use your eyes or your knees? Watch carefully! You didnt know how much I put effort on it" he rolled his eyes. His face was familiar for you

"Come on, its just a cup of coffe"

"if so, replace me with the same coffe with the coffe you spilled” he look at you with a daring eyes

“Here is your coffe, Ma’am” the barista said and handed it to to you

”Thanks. How much?”

”25 dolla (usd)” you cursed silently. How expensive. You can feel the guy’s smirking at your back as you took out your money

”Thank you, Ma’am. Hope you can come again”

The barista flashed a smile to you and you smiled back. You walk out from the coffe shop. You rolled your eyes when you meet your eyes with the guy. You handed the coffe to him. He just take it and walk away. That make you clench your fist and your jaw

”Can you at least say thank you?”

”No. How to say thank you?”

“Such a ungrateful man” you just spend your money just for his coffe and now he act like nothing happened

”Whatever. Meet you tomorrow“ he walk away and didnt even turn back to look at you. His action made you let a long sigh and something popped in your mind

“wow, you’ve really been studying a lot haven’t you?”. you say, seeing soobin’s notebook splayed out on the bed filled with notes that you had no supervision on. you were shocked to know that he took the time to study by himself. he was really taking things seriously. soobin nods,

“i want to pass”.

“it sure looks like it. you’re going to do more than pass with all this knowledge”.

soobin laughs, “good. maybe I’ll earn the ski trip”.

“ski trip?”. you question, having absolutely no clue as to what he was referring to.

“yeonjun told me that everyone who does good on the exams earns a ski trip as an incentive”.

you were kind of amazed, “wow. that sounds fun. when did our school start doing stuff like that? they must really want us to pass”.

“definitely. and I think if everyone doesn��t do well the school’s going to be shut down. so I already know my parents are to blame”.

you roll your eyes and smile a bit, writing down your chemistry notes to study. “must be nice having money”.

“stop saying that. you have money too now”.

“really? where?”.

“right here”.

you shake your head and laugh. soobin eyes you before going back to write his notes.

“seriously why don’t you ask me for money? you never ask”.

soobin nods as if it were a stupid question. “yes”.

“why?”.

“because why not? I think every boyfriend does”.

“I love how you just call yourself my boyfriend in front of my mom and now that counts as us being an official couple”.

soobin laughs and takes your hand. you look at him like he was the biggest joke in the world. “what are you doing?”. you say trying not to laugh. soobin was holding in laughter also while attempting to look at you seriously in your eyes.

“do you want to be my girlfriend?”.

“i hate you soobin”. you laugh.

you roll your eyes playfully. “fine. I guess I can be your girlfriend”.

“you’re always trying to act like you don’t like me”. soobin laughs again, flipping his notebook page to finish the rest of the notes on the backside.

soobin lays his head on his hand, staring at you.

you try not to blush. keeping your eyes on your own paper. his stare was eating you alive.

“why are you in love with me? I’m not shaming you I just kind of find it odd--I’m just a church girl. living a normal middle class teenage catholic life. there’s nothing special about me. and here you are every girl’s dream. you’re rich. good looking. everyone wants to be you. why me? “do you really think I can fall in love with someone whose nothing?”.

you sigh. “I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket. I’m scared of getting my hopes up and then one day you just leave. there’s so many girls out there that’s better. look better and dress better. and you can get with every single one of them if you wanted”. you ranted and you didn’t mean to take it this far but it’s honestly how you felt. you couldn’t help it.

soobin presses his warm hand against your cheek. “why are you getting so upset, princess?”.

“I don’t know”. you utter being swarmed in a sea of vulnerability.

“I’m not going to leave you. and if I did who would I even leave you for? some girl who only wants sex and clout from me?”.

“what about the ones who are looking for a relationship?”.

you sigh again, giving him pitiful eyes. being the cheesy person he was leans in and kisses you. that didn’t stop you from liking it though.

“I only want you i swear. now please admit to being in love with me because I’m tired of waiting for your answer”. soobin says gradually laughing. you smile a bit breaking out of your sadness. his reassurance was what you needed. to be this deep into a relationship and him leaving you? it was your biggest fear.

“I may or may not be”. you joked. soobin sucks his teeth playfully.

“fine don’t admit it then. guess you won’t be getting a car for Christmas”.

“soobin?”.

“yes?”. he grinned while continuing his notes, knowing he caught you by surprise there.

“how am I even going to explain that to my parents? they’re going to think I did something for it”.

you laugh, wondering what else went on in soobin’s mind.

“alright that’s enough!”. the both of you laugh in perfect sync. interrupting it was his mother obnoxiously calling him from downstairs. soobin promises you his return before he goes to stand at the top of the stairs answering her.

“yes?”. he says kind of annoyed.

“me and your father have a conference to attend. our flight leaves soon. if I come back and find out you’ve studied nothing words can’t explain your punishment. don’t just sit around this house making nothing of yourself”.

soobin rolls his eyes, “where is your conference being held?”.

“france”.

“for how long this time?”.

“why are you asking meaningless questions? did you hear what I said?”.

“it’s not meaningless if you guys just came back and spent less than 8 hours in the house with me before you leave again”.

“soobin don’t start. we’re leaders and we are also missionaries. you know what is required of us”.

“what about me?”.

“what about you? study and make yourself useful for something soobin. we were glad finally seeing you out with the sports team and doing things that don’t require a suspension”.

soobin’s breathing pattern changes swiftly. he could hear the nonchalantness in her tone and he hated it with a passion.

“study and make myself useful and then what? so you both can come home and beat me and yell at me anyways?”.

his fathers enters the foyer pointing his finger up at soobin.

“watch your volume”.

“for what! for what whose going to hear me?”.

“for respect soobin! don’t make me come up these stairs”. his father threatens.

“why should I respect you both if you guys barely respect me?!”.

“what are you talking about you have a house to live in don’t you? you have cars you have nice clothes you have gourmet food to eat and your bank account surpasses any number of ever seen in my life. you have nothing to complain about you need to be grateful!”. his mother spat.

“yes you’re right thank you mom thank you dad for subtracting the parental love I could’ve gotten in my life and supplementing it with material things! I appreciate it so much!”.

“what did I tell you about saying that? huh?! we love you. this is tough love”. his father replies. soobin ball his fists.

“that’s bullshit you’re only saying that because you don’t want anyone in this town to know that the two people they respect so much don’t give a damn about their son! half the shit that you do you only do it so I can never say that I don’t have anything”.

“soobin watch your mouth!”. he father growls.

“it’s true just fucking admit it and stop getting angry!”

soobin spat harshly and his dad was about to take off up the stairs in a fit of rage until his mother pulled him back.

“our flight leaves in less than a half hour we have to be at the airport. we can deal with him later”. his dad nods and points his finger at soobin again.

“consider yourself lucky”. he stated before clutching his suitcase. his mom clutches hers and they both approach the door. she shoots a disgusting look at him.

“maybe this getaway will help you clean up your act”. she muttered and closed the door behind him.

“What about me!?”. soobin stands at the top of the stairs still yelling.

“your getaways don’t help! they never fucking did!”. he could feel his heart racing and his cheeks growing hot.

“just say you don’t really love me. thats all you have to do”. he croaks without even realizing he was crying.

you’d been in his room overhearing the whole argument but unable to come out due to you not supposed to even being there in the first place. so you kept silent until you heard the front door shut. you snuck out of soobin’s bedroom to see him down the hallway still yelling, so it was hard to tell if it’s parents really left or not. you approach his tall frame timidly, touching his shoulder.

“soobin?”. he palms his face sniffling. you wrap your arms around his torso and glance up at him.

“it’s going to be okay alright? they don’t deserve you. you’ve made mistakes in your life and sure you weren’t the best behaved kid but you are still theirs and they should treat you as such”.

“I hate them. I fucking hate them both”.

“soobin don’t say that”.

“I will say it. because they don’t care about me”.

“look at me”.

soobin sighs, removing his hands from his wet eyes to glare down at you. he looked so miserable when he cried and you hated it. you’d only ever like to see him happy and laughing. this was cruel.

“I’m in love with you, okay?”. you say, reaching up to help him dry his eyes.

“do you mean that?”. he replies.

“yes I do mean it”.

“good because I fucking knew it”. soobin admits with a straight face until you playfully slap his chest and laugh. it was a relief to see his reddened face contort into a smile.

“babe! hurry up!”. soobin yells from the living room couch. he had the movie ready and he was just waiting for you to cuddle with him. you figured you couldn’t leave him alone while he felt like this. so you gave your parents your usual excuse for being out so late.

you promised soobin you’d do anything to help him feel better and guess what he requested? you guessed it.

four peanut butter and jelly sandwiches specially made by you. and of course the big baby was being impatient. you rushed and slabbed the layer of peanut butter on the last slice and sat all the sandwiches on the plate.

you carefully walked into the living room with it and soobin started the movie. you sat criss-crossed between his legs on the couch, trying to hand the plate off to him.

“feed me”, he begs. you turn your body and face him. “you’re a big baby do you know that?”. soobin smirks knowingly. you rip a piece of one sandwich and hold it up to his lips which he munches on adorably. you feed him a few more pieces and watch the crumbs fall from his lips.

“you’re the only person I know that can get fed and still make a mess”. you use a hand to dust the crumbs off of his lips and hoodie.

“you’re such a mom”.

“and you’re such a baby”.

“your baby right?”. you sigh trying not to blush once again.

“cmon. it’s okay to admit it”.

“I’m not going to make things cringy soobin”. you mumble and he immediately tackles you down on the couch playfully.

“soobin you’re going to make me drop all of these sandwiches on the floor!”. you laugh.

“admit I’m your baby”. he laughs.

he face was inches from yours. he looked so cute and cuddly in his big sweater and hood over his head. you pulled one of his drawstrings.

“fine. you’re my baby”. soobin smiles and softly kisses you.

“you forgot to get me something to drink with my food. I’m going to suffocate from this peanut butter”.

you laugh, “you didn’t ask for anything to drink”.

“I know. I should’ve asked for milk”.

“see, that’s your mistake not mine”.

soobin thinks for a moment before grinning. “i mean--if i wanted some milk I can just--”. he interrupted himself just to snake his hand up your shirt and massage your boob. you cackled loudly.

“soobin!”.

and your mornings were usual. this time around though you were encouraging soobin. he’d be taking his first history exam today.

“remember you got this. you are smart. you can do anything and you studied really hard for this”. you remind prior to kissing him. “I believe in you”. you added. you went into your classroom and let soobin put his skills to the test. he was even more inspired now that he had you rooting for him.

“I tried to call you yesterday but either your phone was dead or you didn’t pay your phone bill”. taehyun admitted.

“my phone bill is paid. my phone was probably dead”. you lied. you were declining his calls to keep from soobin’s wrath.

“we can study today after school if you’re down. I don’t have anything to do and plus the exam is coming up soon”.

damn. you couldn’t say no to his face. could you?

“yeah that’s fine. library?”. you ask.

“yeah that’s cool”. taehyun shortly replies. all the while you were wondering how the hell you were going to continue studying with taehyun behind soobin’s back. it wasn’t like you were cheating on him or anything. just studying. maybe soobin was being too overprotective.

soobin adjusts his backpack strap and attempts recalling his notes in his head while he walked to his classroom.

“ayo? you ready?”. yeonjun asked catching up to him

“hell yeah. I actually studied”.

“good. I uhh- kind of have some news for you though”.

“what is it?”.

“they found more evidence on the hotel case”.

“shit. why the hell would you tell me that right now?”.

“I’m trying to tell you all the shit I know before anything comes up later so you can be prepared”.

“how do you know this shit anyways? do you have a part time job at the police station or something?”.

“I have my connections. and i’ve been following it to make sure they don’t try and frame me”.

“why would they frame you?”.

yeonjun shrugs, “I was acting pretty hostile during interrogation. but still”.

“I don’t have time for this shit”.

“yeah that’s probably why you still haven’t told your girlfriend”.

“don’t start yeonjun”.

yeonjun shrugs again, “I’m just saying. you keep dragging this shit out she’s going to fuck around and leave you”.

Dilemma

“So, basically he’s like get your ass home now, you’ve played around enough in the US.” Yeon, sat back rubbing her eyes, wondering why she just didn’t tell her dad no.

He paid for her college that’s why.

“Basically. I have to go home, and finish there and who knows.” She sighed, looking out the window to the city of Atlanta.

“But, do you want to go, that’s the thing.” Her friend, reached across the table taking her hand.

“No, but my dad is Korean.” She laughed softly. “So, I kinda have no choice, and my mom agrees with him.” She finished her coffee, and rolled her eyes, wishing her mother would have pushed for her to stay in the states.

She loved Korea, she loved the States; but she always felt a bit freer here. Standing up, her 5′5″ frame was lithe, but she had hips and an ass. That she got from her mother, she tossed her mid-back length 3B curls behind her and donned a pair of Gucci shades.

“I leave in three days, he didn’t give me time to do shit. Movers will be here tomorrow, I get on the plane, and go. So, there go all my summer plans. Good thing is though, he’s letting you come with me. Two weeks in Seoul, what do you think?”

Her friend, jumped up from her spot, clapping her hands excitedly. “YES! Oh my god, what do I pack? What should I wear?”

Yeon smiled. “We’ll figure that out later.”

Yeon washed her hands in the bathroom aboard the airplane. She made the water as hot as she could stand it, needing something to take her mind off the fact that they had been flying for 8 hours already. She wanted to run and jump, she needed to stretch her legs. Her hair in a messy bun on her head, she looked at herself in the half steamed mirror and sighed. How was she going to fit back in Korea? She had sometimes unruly curly hair that wasn’t a very common sight on a Korean woman, her copper skin, held two very Asian eyes Most people told her, her eyes looked like Kimora Lee Simmons. Plump lips, brown eyes, her figure was slightly curvy, she pushed together her 34B breasts and wondered if her breasts were also too large? Probably not. She was going to be…different. That much was certain.

“Are you ok?” A soft voice at the door asked her in Korean.

“Yes, thank you.”She answered, almost bowing before she remembered she couldn’t be seen.

Speaking in strictly Korean, unless she was around her parents, something else, she was going to have to get used to again. She hated being different, she hated people looking at her like she had a third eyeball. Grunting, she opened the bathroom door, walking back to her seat.

“You ok, Yeon?” Her friend asked her, barely waking up from her nap.

“I’m ready to get off this damn plane. My legs are killing me.” She signaled for the waitress.

“Girl, your short ass is fine, I’m 5′8″ I’m the one suffering.” Her buddy, turned in her seat, snuggling in the cushions of first class, sleeping again.

Would she be fine? She wasn’t so sure.

As soon as the plane landed, both girls stretched and yawned. It was afternoon in Seoul, South Korea, and all Yeon thought about now was sleep. A sign was posted for her, Ms. Hyo Park Yeon as they came down the elevator, and she rolled her eyes, thinking to herself. ‘Wow, thanks parents, don’t even come to the airport.’

“You have an escort? What a driver too?” Her friend chuckled and Yeon bit her lip and tried to figure out, what she hadn’t told her friend already.

“Ms. Hyo.” He already knew her face, and she gave a slight bow saying hello, giving him their bags.

“This is it, the rest, was delivered here already.” With a nod of his head, the man leads the way outside, and out into the bright sunshine. The girls donned their shades, and Marcella looked around, looking quite the tourist, while Yeon ignored the urge.

He leads them both to a car, a sleek black Audi A8 L. Opening the door for them, the girls slid into the cool, cream-colored interior, chilled water bottles waiting for them.

“This car is nice, man did your dad spare any expenses?” Marcella, rubbed a hand along the seats, watching as the driver got in the front seat.

“This isn’t a Bentley, so I’m going to say, yes.” Yeon laid her head back against the seat, getting ready mentally for her best friend to choke her. “I have to tell you something, Marcella.”

The car pulled away, and Marcella was looking out the window. “Mhm.”

“So, my dad is a CEO…you know that.”

“Yea.”

“My mother is an interpreter for his company now. His interpreter. My grandfather, my mother’s father was a doctor.”

Marcella’s eyes turned to slits as she looked at Yeon. “You parents are loaded aren’t they?”

“I don’t really know about all that. I’ve had to work for anything, I’ve ever received, and maintain a strict GPA, you know I don’t flaunt a bunch of shit.”

“Just say it! Why didn’t you tell me!” Marcella punched her arm lightly. “I’m actually kind of hurt. I’m your best friend.”

Yeon let her head fall. “I learned the hard way, about friends who are friends because of money. Not that you're one of them! I just prefer not to be like that. I’m not stuck up and snobby, and Paris Hilton like.”

“Don’t you think I know that dummy? I know who you are. TBH, I kind always knew I think. Tell me more about your parents though.”

Yeon smiled, thanking god that was easier than she thought it would be. She explained that her father always had money, he inherited the company from his father. Her mother had to scrape and earn every penny, her grandfather believed in a hard day's work. He came from nothing, her parents were polar opposites. Her mother was gifted when it came to languages, she spoke 6 fluently, but Korean was not one of them. Her mother was working as an interpreter for another company when she met her father. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her.

“Still makes me gag a little when he says, my mom had the brownest skin he ever saw, and all he thought about doing was rubbing his face against her legs.” She said playfully, she knew her father worshiped her mother.

Her mother didn’t speak Korean, and her father didn’t speak English, however, they both spoke Chinese. They went out on a few dates, and he made a decision to marry her, boom there she was.

“They should write a book about that,” Marcella answered, taking a sip of her water.

“Probably.” Yeon looked out the window. “This is my house.”

Marcella gasped as the gate opened to a large black and cream colored home, The gate opened to a yard, the glass front of the home, showed into the living room, around the side, there was a cement driveway, and a garage for the cars. The door was opened for them, and Marcella and Yeon walked up the pathway leading from the driveway to the front of the house. It was arched, with large dark wooden doors, and Yeon rung the bell, waiting.

“Of course, you remember how to say hello in Korean. My father’s English is still a bit rough.”

“Who do you think you’re talking to?” Marcella asked, rolling her eyes.

Yeon smiled, and the door opened up, her mother standing there in her apron smiling wide. “My baby is home!” She threw her arms around Yeon, hugging her tight before grabbing Marcella hugging her as well.

“Marcella, I’m happy to have you in our home.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Hyo.” She bowed at her.

“Oh please, call me Jasmine.” She ushered the girls into the house. “I know, Y'all are probably tired, but I have been cooking for Y'all. A mix of southern food and Korean.”

Her mother yelled in Korean, for her father, smiling back at the girls. “He’s going to play all tough baby, but you know he missed you. That’s why he wasted no time.” Her mother hugged her again, and this time Yeon held on tight.

She forgot how her mother smelled like cloves and her favorite Prada perfume. Her mother’s tight 4a coils tickled her nose. “I missed you, Ma.”

“I have too, we haven’t seen you in a year.” Letting her, go her mother turned towards the stairs, as her father came down them. The foyer of the home, had dark hardwood floors, contrasting against the light gray of the walls, and the cream of the carpet that lined the stairs.

“Park Yeon.” He said her name, standing at the bottom of the stairs.

Yeon walked over, bowing deeply, saying hello to her father in Korean. “Abeoji, I missed you.”

Her father’s wrinkled forehead smoothed over and he broke into a smile, hugging his little girl tightly. “My family is whole again.” He kissed her face several times, before letting go, and he also grabbed Marcella into a hug.

“Marcella, I’m glad you could join us for a while.” Marcella smiled, looking shy.

“Thank you for the vacation, Mr. Hyo.” He waved a hand dismissively at her.

“You are like a sister to my baby, call me abeoji.” Marcella tested the word on her tongue, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

Her father, shooed both girls upstairs, informing Yeon that her things would be there, in 3-4 days. Yeon showed Marcella the guest room, and how to use the shower. “Just come in my room when you're done.”

Yeon walked into her room, it was almost the same way she left it. Old EXO posters on the wall, on a cork board. A few American bands on the other side, she had a new computer, new bed, new bedding. Her vanity in front of her bay window. She could decorate as she wanted later, she supposed, but she didn’t even want to live in her parents' house. For goodness sake, she was 20 years old, but her father probably didn’t want her living on her own either. This was going to be hard. She showered, conditioning her hair, and finger de-tangling as she let the water run down her back. She washed her face free of the makeup she wore. She had forgotten to put on a primer, and setting powder so she knew she skin probably looked oily. After she was finished, she wrapped her head in a towel, sitting down at her vanity. She didn’t feel like dealing with her hair, so she set to start doing large twists.

Marcella knocked once, letting herself inside. “I’m glad I got my hair done, before coming because I would not be in the doing it now.”

She looked up at Marcella in the mirror, her friend's shoulder length box braids now held secure in a wrap on her head. “Help me then, I ain’t trying to be here all day.”

Marcella set to rubbing olive oil into the strands, before twisting them with twist cream on her fingers. Both girls finished, Yeon stood u, grabbing a scarf from the hook near her door, and wrapped her hair into a pineapple, before she set out to get dressed.

“Another struggle is finding good hair care products.” Yeon pulled on a purple V-neck shirt that said ‘J’adore’ on the front over her head.

“Your mama is natural, what do you mean?” Marcella looked at her posters. “Chanyeol was still fine as hell in these pics.”

“That’s like right after their debut. She is but she goes into Seoul, to get her hair done. You know I’m picky.” Marcella nodded, still looking over the pictures.

The girls made their way downstairs, where Mrs. Hyo was setting the table. The girls settled themselves on cushions on the floor, as her father made his way in, sitting down at the head of the table.

“How was the flight?” He asked in Korean.

Her mother came in with a gallon of juice, and cups. “English please, we have a guest.” Just as her father was about to protest, she held up a hand sitting down. “Your English is fine, you just never really try. I refuse to translate.”

“Yes, yes, umma.” He replied taking some rice from a large bowl.

“It was long. Fine though.” Yeon answered, Marcella, agreeing with her.

They ate and talked, laughing about what had happened lately in Atlanta or Korea. Inside, Yeon smiled this was good, she had forgotten how much she missed home. How much she missed really good kimchi and her mothers fried chicken. Her mother rolled her eyes at her fathers bad jokes.

“You can have the summer to do as you will, school starts back in September, everything is taken care of Yeon.” Her father spoke, looking at her stuff more kimchi into her mouth.

Thanks, dad, I’m just wondering how I will fit in.” He shrugged at her, chewing his rice.

“You will be fine, you are my daughter. Besides, concentrate on school, not a social life.” Yeon took a sip of her juice, sighing.

“I’m a young dad, I have to have a social life.” She put another piece of chicken on Marcella’s plate as she spoke.

Her father put his chopsticks down on his plate. “I have a remedy for that soon enough. For now, don’t worry, so much, you’ll get wrinkles.”

Her mother shook her head at the two. After lunch, Yeon and Marcella went to their rooms to nap, while her mother cleared dishes with her father.

He stood in the kitchen watching his wife. “Friday then?”

“I actually don’t think this is a good idea at all right now.” She washed the last of the plates, putting them in them in the dish drainer.

“Why not?” He came to stand behind his wife, her short frame nestling against his.

“It’s sneaky. You bring her here, to finish school, but you have an ulterior motive.” Her mother turned in her father’s arms to look at him.

“I’m making sure, our daughter is secure in life.” Sighing, Mrs. Hyo, moved from her husband’s grasp.

“I know. I just…let her see if she likes him or not. I wasn’t forced with you.” Mr. Hyo crossed to where his wife now stood, and took her chin in his hand.

“She will like him, trust me. Choi Jun-Seo is a good man, he is already making me very proud in the company.”

“If you say so.” Her mother leaned her head up, to give her father a gentle kiss.

He grinned, kissing her once more. “I’m always right, trust me.”

The next few days were spent shopping and sight-seeing. Marcella and Yeon kicked back and relaxed most days. “We should go clubbing,” Marcella said, as Yeon sat at her computer looking at places to live near the college.

“Clubs? Yea, we can go. When?” Yeon brought up another tab, to look for good clubs when her mother walked in after knocking once.

“Can’t go tonight, I’m sorry girls. Yeon.” Her mother laid a traditional Korean dress, on her bed. “Your father has a dinner guest, and you have to wear this. I have one for you as well Marcella.”

Yeon rolled her eyes, earning a scowl on her mother’s face. “Stop. You look beautiful in them.”

The golden color of the dress was offset by the red of the tank top, and red flowers, twined with their vibrant green leaves. The black, sheer covering had a white collar. The fabric was thick and heavy. She picked up the dress, holding it close to her body.

“It is pretty, dad is going all out, who is the guest?” Her mother grinned slightly, turning to Marcella.

“Yours will be delivered before tonight. You can take it home if you like, it’s pink and black. I thought the colors would compliment you.”

“Ma.” Yeon put the dress down, looking back at her mother. “Why are you ignoring me?”

“I’m not. He’s a work partner of your fathers. He’s someone your father thinks highly of. So he wants you to look your best.” Her mother turned from the room. “You guys can club tomorrow.”

As the door closed behind her, Marcella chuckled softly but steadily it became louder. “If you don’t have this figured out by now, I’m gonna be pissed.”

Yeon balled her hands into fists. “Stay here.” She grumbled. Her father’s office was downstairs, near the parlor. She quickly jumped down the stairs, running down the hall, her bare feet pattering gently on the hardwood. The large oak doors in front of her, she was never to enter as a child, unless invited. She knew her father would be in there, while her mother gave her the dress.

She knocked once hard, then twice more. “Yes?”

“Dad, you know it's me.” She wanted to yell, but yelling would get her nowhere with him.

He cleared his throat. “Come in.”

Yeon opened the door, closing it behind her, keenly aware of how close it seemed in there. He had many small statues and vases lining the walls. The dark walls and light carpet on the floor, everything was exactly as it had been. Traditional, clean cut. She walked towards her fathers' desk where he sat looking over some papers, his glasses low on his nose.

“Who is this guy.” She pulled a chair from the desk sitting down, she was letting him know she wasn’t going anywhere.

“His name is Choi Jun Seo. He runs the international side of the company, fluent in 3 languages, learning a fourth. He graduated top if his class-”

Yeon cut her father off, tapping on his desk. “I didn’t ask for his resume abeoji.”

Her father slowly lifted his head, pushing his glasses on his nose. The wrinkles around his eyes, deepening as he sighed. “I think, he would be a good match for you.”

“I knew something was up!” Yeon stood up in her chair, pointing at her father. “Is this why I came back? Don’t lie to me.”

Her father removed his glasses, rubbing the area between his eye. “Yeon, do not raise your voice at me.”

She ignored him. “Is it! Tell me! I don’t want to be set up, with some guy who you think is ok for me. That’s not fair!” She pushed away from his desk, throwing her hands into the air. “You can’t do this!”

“I can do as I please, I am your father!” Mr. Hyo stood up, his balled fist slamming down on his desk.

The air was hot between them. Yeon heard her breathing, she was frustrated and angry. She closed her eyes, willing back the tears that threatened. “Did you even miss me? Or did you just want me back as some shiny little pawn to entice your co-workers with?”

Her fathers face softened. “Why would you say that? Of course, I missed you. Your mother missed you. You belong here at home. It is not safe in Atlanta, we cannot protect you.”

Yeon sniffled. “You don’t have to protect me, I’m a grown woman.” She wiped her eyes, turning her back on her father like a child.

“You are my child. My only child. He will be here tonight to introduce himself to you in a formal setting, that is all. I am pushing, however, that you two will date.” Mr. Hyo came from around his desk, at 5′9″ he towered over his daughter, lifting her chin to look at him. “Give him a chance.”

She tugged her chin from her fathers grasp. “If he’s ugly, I’m not doing anything.”

“Park Yeon..” He said quietly.

“I don’t like this, and I don’t agree to it. I will be cordial though.” Her father chuckled, hugging his daughter tight.

“You’re like your mother, I suppose that is all I can ask for now.”

Chapter 13

1 year went by slowly.

Things changed alot. Seung gi got married with his love and became the son in law of the rich billionaire while Cha eun woo just became the known C.E.O in his company.

Go ara found a living after BTS left, she got married and became a house wife with Lee soo hyuk a street model while Shin hye, Min ah's other friend just continued working hard for her family.

And BTS? Ooh they were international boy band their songs were big hit

Min ah's p.o.v

As for me i was able to pay for my granny's surgery that i was relieved but i managed to get the money by working at the big hit company. This wasn't what i was planning but they were willing to help me since i was close to the company and it could pay big time.

I didn't expect to be given a job as black pink assistance manager also counted as an errand girl since thats what those evil girls are doing especially that Jennie she treats me badly as if i ever did something bad to her, i really hate her.

It was break time

I had to meet up with my friends as we were busy making stories. "So Min ah i heard you are still being harassed by those blackpink." Shin hye cried having a coffee.

"It was bad luck i told her." Go ara cried as i remember telling her it was a secret that i was having a bad time. "Just leave the job it's not your thing, find something descent." She cried

"True i wish to give up but i wanted to see someone before i leave." I said as my friends stared at me confused wanting to know but i couldn't tell.

"She is always like when i ask her who is it." Go ara cried "yah, Min ah you're the only one of our friends and other classmates who hasn't gotten married till when should i arrange a blind date for you?" The fancy Shin hye would cry.

"Yah!, i'm done dating, i can just be a nun." I said as i laughed at my friends who were busy remarking on what i said. "Yah i won't be your friend if you won't marry." Shin hye cried as Go ara hit her after making such a remark.

"Yah Min ah is having a tough time right now and i don't think it is the right time for her to hook up with a random guy." Go ara supported.

"By the way you said that night you were with your dongsae, where is he you never introduced him to us." She cried "aah, he went abroad so i can't get intouch with him." "Really? Then why did ara tell me you were hidding him if you weren't dating!?" Shin hye was being persistent even after i told her that Seung gi cheated on me she almost destroyed the wedding.

I split the coffee i was drinking landing to Go ara choking onto what Shin hye spoke. " yah shin hye it wasn't like that, he's just not used to speak to other people." I lied not realising it was too much.

"But that guy looks so familiar like some cel-." I managed to interrupt the talkative Go ara by stuffing alot of cupcakes in her mouth.

I then got a call from my boss who was the evil witch Jennie ordering me to hurry back to the company.

"Let me guess the evil Jennie." Shin hye guessed referring to how i saved her. "I have to go guys." I excused myself living my two friends.

End of p.o.v

Jennie's p.o.v

I was so tired after a long time rehersal as my manager kept on correcting me all the time. "Excuse me when is that girl bringing my coffee i'm so dry." I cried as i saw the girl come running carring the damn coffee.

"Mianhaeyo i got stuck bit managed to run." She smiled handling me the coffee what's with the fake smile i know she hates me i too hate her. The coffee she bought was warm but i didn't want it.

I managed to open and spilled in infront of her as some landed on her shoes "its warm i wanted it hot." I smirked "are you still going to smile?"

The next thing she did was still smile "Mianhaeyo the coffee didn't suit your test." She said as she left.

Meanwhile in the US

Bts were in their rooms finishing to pack their stuffs. "I can't believe we are going back it felt like forever!" Jin cried as the others complimented.

"Should we atleast celebrate our last before leaving." Jimin asked as they all agreed. Jungkook seemed to be happy and moving on but his friends knew he had changed much he would seduce girls with his charms and get a temper on a small little thing. He was not the little innocent Jungkook they knew.

"Yah should we call or go to the strip club?" Taehyung cried as Suga and Jin shrugged not agreeing with their dongsae but the others agreed even the young maknae agreed to go there.

As the other hyungs left first Suga and Jin pulled the maknae back "yah Jungkook you know you don't have to go." Jin cried as he clutched him.

"Yah hyung what are you doing,we've been this through alot why not?" He cried "if its because of that bet along time you shouldn't do it." Jin kept insisting to who was not paying attention.

"Then are you trying to shutter away your old self because this isn't you." Suga smirked.

"Aniyo i've just matured." He said hearing a spark of anger. He decided to leave but Suga was still persistent not forgetting Jungkook's anger issues.

"Wae?, is it because of her that you changed this much?" Suga cried making Jungkook stop as he clenched his fist,"stop."

"That's right it must hit the spot." Suga continued asvhe tried to stop the two "you guys." "Stop talking about someone i already forgot." He cried "then why anger why move on like this it's not like you two were dating." Suga had gone too far making Jungkook angry that he punched him hard to his mouth making him nosebleed.

"Guys stop it!, Jungkook you aren't in your right mind you've really changed." Jin cried hurrying to support Suga.

Jungkook suuddenly came to the point of realization and left to join his other hyungs. He would just drink that night realizing it was hard to forget Min ah even if he tried to his hurt won't just accept he wanted to get wasted that night.

Back to Korea

Shin min ah was in the washroom cursing at Jennie quietly, she thought she was having a bad day. She just wished something nice would happen to her for once.

Thats when some employees entered in the washroom gossiping about celebrities " hey did you hear BTS are expected to be back by tomorrow morning isn't that great!" One of them cried making Min ah shocked by the news.

"It still hasn't been published but i overheard Jennie and director talk about it." Another said "sheesh i really don't like that Jennie girl she's so bad i just can't believe Jungkook dated her secretly with that attitude." "Mwo!!" Min ah and the other girls who didn't know she was listening cried.

Min ah's p.o.v

I secretly overheard their conversation, i was so fluttered and excited that BTS were coming back i smiled as i stared at the black braclet on my hand. I still haven't forgotten how we spent our memories together but i must be looking too greedy for a noona.

I was right i shouldn't be swayed by his charm i kept looking at his image that was charming and adorable smile that i missed.

But then continue hearing their conversation took my breath suddenly my heart was beating like crazy. I suddenly felt down "why am i like this must i be sick i felt my heart race.

"Why do i feel empty wherever i hear their music and - Andwe Min ah come to your senses." I hit myself

Later

I managed to get out when i saw Cha eun woo in his new black car. He was there smiling at me so i decided to get the lift since it won't hurt to take an offer.

"So did your boss promote you with a new car too." I smiled at him who just chuckled back. " ne by the way i wanted you to be the first person to treat." He cried

"You are going to treat me out?!" I happily cried since i was so hungry "yeesh you are really that hungry then lets go it something like a date." He cried reminding me the promise i once made to Jungkook, i felt really bad.

We then went over to eat. He took me to a fancy restaurant that i didn't expect since everything was expensive. "Yah Eun woo why here do you know it is expensive." I whispered to him "don't worry i just wanted you to taste something new for your menu." He smiled as he started eating using his fork and knife. " i have a new job

I stared at the beef on my plate "Jungkook also loved beef." I muttered not realising i was speaking my thoughts out loud.

"What is it, something wrong?" He asked me as i continued to eat, sincerely it was sweet "i guess its nice." He cried as he cut another slice and gave it to me.

Cha eun woo's p.o.v

I gave her my remaining slice as she just smiled at me making my heart flutter "kumaoh." But i didn't like how she kept bringing up that guy no matter how he left i just had to make sure i tell her cause this was my only way to win her before another person gets in the way.

I then took her home as she still continued to address me friendly i really hated it but i was still scared that i would loose my friendship with her but i then decided.

"Min ah..." she turned to look at me.

That night

Shin min ah's p.o.v

I couldn't sleep or eat even after what happened in the car i couldn't bare to believe it was Eun woo to do that.

Flashback

"Min ah do you always see me as your friend in everything we do?" He asked thinking of it as a joke "Yah eun woo what stupid question is that?" I cried but he grabbed my hand making me to face him as i just wondered what happened to him all of a sudden.

"Min ah mianhaeyo i was not there for you during your breakup." He cried thinking he reacted this way because he felt sorry. "Its okay i was fine." I said to him. "You should leave." I continued as i turned to leave but he again grabbed my hand "i'm not done." He said gently pulling me for a kiss.

My heart was beating so fast out of shock but something else happened this action brought back some memories i didn't want to remember. Thats right a kiss i shared with Jungkook who didn't tell me. I managed to hurrily back out and ran out of embarrassment

End of flashback

Oh God! Ottokye i cried opening my computer to play games but i decided to enter a site where you can ask question about love and get help.

So i made a fake name and logged in as i typed my problem.

'Dear helper i heard your advices help can you also help me?' It didn't take long before she answered 'yes i'm of great help and you made a right decision coming so state your problem.' She typed 'I don't know about this but what should i do when i realize that i kissed my close friend when i got drunk and what do you think that person thinks of me if he hasn't told me.'

It took long enough for that stupid answer till i gave up. I then opened their pictures unluckily to see Jungkook's picture, i just kept staring at him he looked so perfect just sitting there smiling like a bunny. I realised i was lost when i calmed myself "aniyo don't get fooled he just left obviously running away from me." I cried as i went to sleep only making it worse still thinking about the two kisses but how can Eun woo just do that not thinking of how it will affect our friendship.

I just decided to go outside for a walk outside still thinking if the boys were doing okay and if they would arrive safety.

The next day

Alot of fans were at the airport very eary in the morning waiting for their idols. "Ommo, they are coming I've missed their handsome faces." "Especially my kookie i heard he's become more mature and sexy." Some fans cried as most reporters came pushing through the crowd soon after they arrived wearing cool clothes with their face masks.

Fans busy crying their names out and showing and expressing their love as they got into their vehicle. "Wow Army have gone really crazy they love us." Tae cried staring outside as screams got louder. "Stop doing that you never know what they'll do." Jin always worries

"Welcome back boys." The driver cried taking them to their company. "We should visit our parents soon I really miss them." Jimin cried telling his members.

Jungkook's p.o.v

Suga hyung and I were not in good terms since yesterday night, I didn't want to get reminded of the past since I vowed to forget it and the only way to do it I had to change since they all treated me like a child. I wasn't the innocent person they knew. I was different I could do and get everything a man needed all the girls that I desired I decided not to think lowly of myself maybe this was the other side of me.

We finally arrived as we hurriedly got out of the van and entered the company where we were greatly welcomed. We didn't care we just walked up to when the director came to congratulate us I realised they had arranged a welcome party for us.

I was so happy everyone wanted to know about our journey every staff surrounding us till when black pink came to us welcoming us back again. "I knew you guys would come so I prepared a funny entertainment for you guys." Jennie cried

"You can come out now!, she's my new assistance manager for the one year but she's a big fan of you so I had her prepare you something.

Then a thin young person wearing a tuxedo with a fake mustache she looked nervous But still familiar. She started dancing funny. Everyone was busy laughing till i soon realized it was her Min ah after hearing it from the manager "isn't that Min ah wasn't Jennie supposed to go on stage?" He cried as some of my hyungs also overheard as they stared at me.

I was taken aback i couldn't stop looking at her. I couldn't think mu mind went black even my heart began to flutter even if i got over her.

I just wanted to be by side, i just wanted to love her, i just wanted to kiss her, hold her or make love to her but what am i thinking Jungkook your just lying yourself its all a delusion she'll never see me even right infront of her she still sees that jerk, she never even remembered our kiss cause it's nothing to her.

Shin min ah's p.o.v

I was on stage embarrassed after Jennie trying to embarass me but still i was happy for the boys they were all back . I felt relieved but I suddenly realised someone was staring at me it was Jungkook but i turned away. I wanted to ran upto him and hug him, i must have missed his support and comfort.

Even if i was trying to bring myself to him how would i face him after breaking our promise and yet the damn kiss i couldn't remember and this was not how i pictured appearing this funny infront of him

I couldn't remember cause i was drunk i wish i could explain but he looked mad and with no reaction. He looked all matured and not the little innocent Jungkook i once knew, could i be wrong could he still remember me? I thought getting off stage.

After all he's someone international now would he talk to me again?i really miss him bogoshipeo.

I hate everything about my family and life.

Okay, let me explain. Let's start with my current opinion about my dumbass mother and her boyfriend. He buys her everything. He helps her with bills, buys her a dumbass rabbit and an unnecessarily large television that we don't even fucking need. Let's start with the rabbit. One day, while leaving to who knows where they say "yeah, we're going to bring back food."something that's supposed to take less than an hour turned into like 4. Now when they say they'll go and get food, I don't eat at all at home, simply because I don't want to eat much too much. As bad as I am at it, I want to lose weight. Getting off track, I'm over here starving because I didn't eat much then like a bowl of cereal the day before. So I'm wondering, "where the hell are they at?" And right before i call I see them pull up in the driveway. I'm like "oh yeah, finally some food" but no. They.... For forgot, they forgot about me and instead went and bought a damn rabbit. Now, here's the reasons I'm upset.

I've always wanted a dog. Dogs are companions, they want to play, run, snuggle and basically be your best friend. So when they just randomly come home with a box I'm just like... "Oh my God, maybe I can forgive them for completely forgetting about me." But I was still kinda upset they didn't fucking take me to go and help them pick it out.. Like, wth?

So when they come in I'm just trying to ask surprised like I didn't see them through the window. They put it down, open it and it's a rabbit. Like-- I'm immediately disappointed. I try to smile still... As I'm trying to hold in tears because it's so disappointing. They couldn't have atleast bought a cat..?! Like all a rabbit does is literally eat and poop. That. Is. All. It's cute but it won't even let me pet it. We let it run around in the living room but the damn thing just hides behind the couch. Their excuse for not buying a dog is because it was "too expensive" like shut the hell up, you guys bought a 1500$ tv thats 60 inches, that's as much as a dog would cost. I don't hate the rabbit as it's cute..? But I can't do shit but look at it. Like my mom randomly fawns over it like "oh man look how cute it's being, it did this and this" but in reality the thing just came from under the couch and is sitting by the damn window or like eating like, "woooooow" sooo... Impressive....? The hell do you expect from me? I'm already not fond of it, don't fucking remind me. I'd actually would rather they didn't get it. I'm not being ungrateful like "oh I got a rabbit and not a dog?! I don't want it at all" but they're just wasting money on something that doesn't do anything and you can't interact with. Like-- if you love rabbits, that's great, buy a rabbit if that's what you really want, but I'm not one who's amazingly fond of small animals that don't do anything but eat and poop and when you try and get close to them they just run as fast as they can away from you and hide.

Now let's talk about this damn tv. Out of everything they could've replaced... They replaced the one thing we didn't need. Like they couldn't bother to get me a new laptop for my art, or the drawing tablet I've been wanting for years, A DAMN BEDFRAME as I've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor like a fucking prisoner since March, like, a bigger dresser, a dining table? Like do they every consider their fucking child when they're off like "yeah yeah, let's buy a rabbit or a giant tv that'll look out of place" the TV doesn't even look right. It makes me anxious with it being on a STAND and not on the wall. That wobbly, thin POS is going to fall in the near future and I know it and guess who's going to be crying because they didn't listen to me when I said please mount it in the wall, instead I get "just be grateful that we at least have the TV" like shut the fuck up. You can't buy a dog but you can buy an unnecessarily large tv that hardly fits in the living room. I don't know if their tryin to go for a "homy" vibe but a larger tv only makes the little things we have in there look like shit. If you really wanted to look like a home you can fucking get a better fucking couch and throw out that stupid circular ass thing you call a coffee table. I swear to God if they buy another thing on impulse I'm going to lose my mind and actually kill myself. Im happy that she gets these things she wants but these things seem so unnecessary! Are they even concerned about what I'm going to do for when I want to get into college? I can't actually work because juggling work and school isn't something I can do as I'd have the biggest mental breakdown as I can hardly handle school as is. Im happy for her and that she gets what she really wants, but our home isn't even a home as you're just buying the most expensive and unnecessary things first. I'm so tired of this.

They don't consider me or my feelings in anything they do. Like yesterday for veterans day my mom only made dinner for her boyfriend. I walk in to ask what she's making she she's like "oh a special dinner for him.... You I'll... I may make chicken tenders.. Or something..." And she turned out making nothing. God, when I turn 18 I'm going to find a man with money and move away as far as I can. I can't take this.

In case I die within life cover period, will the two different insurance companies give the separate sum assured amounts in full to the nominee? Will the same rule be valid if I take two such life insurances from same company? I am asking because I have one whole life policy which I may or may not continue, so to get advantage of lower premium, I am considering taking one term insurance as soon as possible (but ultimately I may continue the previous policy too because I have already paid good amount of premium).

Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net I was referred to an oral surgeon by my primary care dentist since I have to have 6 teeth and 2 residual root tips extracted in advance of getting a full upper denture. All the extractions including the root tips have to be done during one visit, which necessitates the use of IV sedation. My general dentist cannot perform any of this work. Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net denied the original pre-authorization request, and subsequent appeal stating that my general dentist can perform the services being referred. Which is absolutely not the case. I even spoke with a customer service rep who indicated that the extraction of residual root tips is definitely a referable service and it clearly states that in their Dental Net Provider Contract. She has no explanation for why the appeal was denied. My primary care dentist has even provided Anthem Blue Cross Dental Net with his specific reasons for referring this work to an oral surgeon and I still can't get anyone at Anthem Blue Cross to re-evaluate the original denial and the appeal and authorize the necessary work. I have filed a complaint with the California Department of Insurance, although I don't hold out much hope for any results from that effort. HELP... what are my options? Who can I contact? Thanks""

Unpopular opinion: Socialism/government mandated healthcare/housing/whatever, at least in its current/currently proposed form, isn’t going to fix our economy or help that many people get off the streets

I’ve seen people cite scientific evidence to say that “as humans, we’ve always helped out sick and elderly members of our community uvu capitalism is heartless” and you know what? That statement is absolutely 100% correct. There’s not a lie in that statement. Capitalism is cruel, and in the past, we always have helped elderly and sick community members instead of leaving them in the dust.

BUT, the difference nowadays isn’t capitalism. It’s that our communities are considered at a much larger scale than they were centuries ago (and I supposed social seclusion is becoming increasingly popular as the decades go on, so that plays a part in it too). I dont know even close to half of the people who live in my city, but centuries ago, pretty much everyone knew everyone else in your respective tribe/village - or if you didnt know them, you knew someone who did know them.

Riddle me this. Would you feel worse about a city of your friends and acquaintances dying, or a city of people you dont even know dying? Sure, you’d probably (hopefully) feel bad in both cases, but having an actual bond with people adds a whole new layer of emotion to it. Its why most of us dont burst out crying whenever we hear about a school shooting.

The same thing plays into how we treat homeless/poor people in our communities. You see a beggar on the street? Maybe you’ll give them some money if you can spare it (and you arent a complete dick) but probably not a whole lot. But if your friend who you trusted and loved was in that situation? You’d probably do whatever you could to get them back on their feet, right? There’s little difference between your friend and that beggar (assuming the beggar and your friend arent scam artists, but thats another topict) but you’re more likely to help your friend than you are the beggar. Whether its because you trust your friend or you love your friend or both, I’d be hard pressed if anyone could deny that.

But the reverse is true, too. If your friend who you loved and cared about gave you money to get back on your feet, you’d do whatever you could to pay them back, right? (Assuming it was a loan) But the government is faceless; it doesnt care about you anymore than capitalism does. And you probably dont care about the government anymore than it cares about you (besides, yknow, it being in control of your life). My point being, it’s a lot easier to say “oh, I’ll just binge buy this expensive steak with this money” about a handout from the government than it is with the money that your friend loaned you. I’m not saying that poor people are intentionally wasting our money, I’m just saying that there’s less risk there, and people take bigger risks when they have a safety net to fall back on.

I’ve also literally heard, from poor people, that poverty is a cycle. You fall back into it throughout your life, even with handouts from the government. Because - and interjecting my own observations here btw - on your way up from welfare, you start making too much money to get welfare but too little to live off of. And believe me when I say I hear “well you shouldnt be making minimum wage if you have a family/are an adult/whatever!!” all the time, but I can also imagine that you have to start somewhere.

But back on track, the government distributing money from the taxpayer to the person living in poverty adds a layer of animosity between the taxpayer and the poor person. You, a taxpayer, dont see the person you’re helping so you just feel bitter, and you, a poor person, dont see the person whose struggling themselves that’s also paying for part of your wellbeing. I’m not saying that you’re a bad person for being in poverty; the animosity isnt your fault, and a bad decision every once in a while is just human. It’s the government’s.

My proposition is that we focus on financial reform. Not financial aid - financial reform. As I mentioned, I’ve flat-out heard from people living in poverty that its a cycle, which - and I remember this being mentioned in the post - is partially due to not being taught proper saving strategies. So why the fuck are we just giving them handouts without actually helping them? Money doesn’t solve everyone’s problems, and that goes for poor people as well (as ironic as that sounds). Send these people to legitimate classes to teach them proper saving techniques (without charging them 50ish bucks, because...?? do you not understand what poverty means??) and then give them some money and a potential job starting point. And if they need some kind of emotional therapy, then give them whatever they need to be able to work. That kind of approach weeds out the “bums” and helps the people who DO want to improve get back on their feet. And if thats “too expensive” or “too much work” well then consider this; do you realize how much money higher-up government workers get for micromanaging the lives of people they’ve never met? They get to sit on their asses and play god, and they get paid royally for it. If you dont have enough money for that, it sure as hell aint because the taxpayers dont pay enough; take it out of your own paycheck and then we can talk.

-There’s no way your kid is more fucked up than mine is, do you know all the shit I went through as a kid? There’s a better chance that I accidentally-

-Oh, here we go again, Mrs. Terrible Childhood back up on the soapbox, telling the world about how bad she had it.

-So what? Its not like you had any struggles, you were-

-Its not about me though, its about our children. You got to learn from the mistakes of your parents, so your kid has way better chances of having it easier than mine. I, however, was hardly parented at all and- while you’re at it fill up my glass too-and I don’t even really know what I’m doing.

-Oh, Mrs. Perfect, bragging about how she’s soo great at ruining her kids life, needing another glass of wine to-

-Hey, leave my drinking out of this. You’re two glasses ahead of me anyways.

-Yeah, but I have a higher tolerance, so-

-You think that’s something to brag about? Does drinking all of the time make it okay for you to drink a lot? Its not like we’re in our early 20’s, now-

-Like, I’m drinking away all of my bad memories, and then my kid sees me drinking, and then she has to, because of that, deal with the same awful person that, put my life as a living hell and its just all one big cycle. I’m so wrapped up in my bullshit, and I can’t even help my kid, so my kid is going to make all of the mistakes, and-

-Sorry, I zoned out a little, you’re just too comfortable. Aren’t you floor, aren’t you hands? Its like for a while, nothing existed, except for the good vibrations.. How did that song go?

-I need a drink.

-I can’t believe that this is my last bottle, I can’t believe I bought white wine. Wait. No, this was a gift. Who the hell would, why would you give an alcoholic more, why is that okay? Who does that?

-I can’t type this in, I can find the video, but the buttons are too small I keep, can you type? I can’t do this.
