For years I used to look down on blogs like yours, my depression made me prefer those stereotypical black and white pics (I hope u know what I'm talking about 😂😅) and I thought that people who run blogs like yours must be faking it, that no one can truly be such a positive person. I can't even explain properly how much I'm glad you sent me this. I needed it! it's probably hard to tell since my queue goes on and on, but I haven't been as active this week because honestly, things are a bit tough at the moment, and my energy has been scattered and unfocused; it's been hard to put myself out here with inspiring words when I can't focus at all. I'm at this weird place of being completely fine and completely all over the place all at once, having my usual routine and at the same time living a completely different life than I had just a couple of months ago. things are getting better, but it's still hard to be creative, and for me this blog is one of my creative outlets... I'm rambling, sorry lol

(btw, I sure do know what you mean by these black-and-white blogs, matter of fact I used to run a very successful one like a decade ago LMAO. can you imagine? if you were around here back then, maybe you were one of my 30k followers. I'm gonna try and remember one of the urls I used, because I went through them like socks.)

but honestly, this message just gave me such a boost of energy and peace. making connections like this gives me life, it's the reason why I even have this blog, and to know that my posts give someone else inspiration of this kind is honestly one of my favorite feelings in the world. your message just reminded me that I am actually a pretty optimistic and positive person, so much so that I manage to somehow spill this on the internet. and you also reminded me that there are people out there who will recognize this trait and value it! the song becomes louder again, and the next clip is from the episode “the waterbending scroll,” and shows katara ecstatic to find a waterbending scroll, while the lyrics “you're the one i want / and i've turned down” play.

the song becomes softer again as a clip from the “the boy in the iceberg” plays, in which katara sadly says to aang, “you're looking at the only waterbender in the whole south pole.” aang responds, “appa and i can personally fly you to the north pole! katara, we're gonna find you a master!” katara responds, “that's— i mean, i don't know. i've never left home before.”

the song becomes louder again as katara practices waterbending moves in “the waterbending scroll,” without much success, and becomes frustrated with herself. the next clip is from the same episode, and shows katara successfully performing the water whip, and being happy and proud of herself for it, while the lyrics “you're the one i got” play.

the next clips are of katara yelling at pakku in “the waterbending master,” and then fighting him, while the lyrics “you're the one i got / so i'll keep turning down the hands / that beckon me to come” her waterbending ability has noticeably improved from before. the song becomes softer and she yells, “you can't knock me down!”

as the chorus, the outro, and the instrumental part after the outro play, there are various clips of katara waterbending. they are, in order:

I REALLY wanted strawberryvalentine, because I go by Strawberry and uh well, I love Funny Valentine - buuut I was hesitant with settling on ‘berryvalentine’ but i mean it’s still cute so it’s fine :3

1. Why did you choose your url?

i think i talked about this before but it’s very simple. i wanted to make a blog for my kdrama/kpop stuff hence korean and i was listening to imagine dragons while making the blog so i was like hey, dragons are common in asian mythology so that’s perfect

2. Any sideblogs?

this one is a sideblog, i have a main @pinenuttrekkie and one for the tales of arcadia series @eclipseisminetocommand i have one more that i made with a friend of mine for sharing movie/animation gifs but then it never amounted to anything so it’s inactive. i should deactivate it

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

latter half of 2015, i was a bit late to the party because i was convinced tumblr was just full of emo scene kids and depressive quotes over black and white pictures but then i joined because i was in love with chris pine and i wanted to look at pictures of him. and now i’m stuck here, thank you mr. pine. oh btw that’s why my online name is pine :)

i do but only if i’m on desktop because xkit does the work for me. it’s “hey mtv welcome to my queue” after the catchphrase from mtv’s cribs

for my main blog as i said, me and my friend had a huge crush on the actor chris pine and she kept sending me tumblr links to posts about him so i was like okay maybe i should sign up so i can look up pictures of him myself. 

for this one i think it’s obvious, i didn’t want to pile all my kdrama/kpop shit on my mainblog so i just made this

i change my avatar depending on what i’m into at that point in time, right now it’s seo in guk in days because i’m watching that drama, maybe next month it’ll be something different

i made the header myself, it’s also an edit of days. i try to match my layout so if i change my icon i’ll probably change my header too

for my main blog it’s this over the garden wall post with over 62k notes and it resurfaces every autumn

for this blog however it’s this cloy gifset that i still get notes for. i guess people were really traumatized. it’s actually amazing how many notes this has considering how shit it is.
