A small genshin theory...

Beware of discussion of leaks for 1.7/2.0 below

Ok so those who keep up with leaks know that in 1.7/2.0 a "fan favorite" is supposed to die. My take for who that is? Kaeya.

1) no shortage of support for Kaeya as a character

2) Mihoyo seems to give him an awful lot of screen time in recent events; we even saw him in the lantern rite event even though the lantern rite was a liyue thing

3) Mihoyo could pull a double twist and have him "die" but then come back when we get K'hanriah

4) makes for perfect angst material because him and dilic haven't made up to this point (bonus points if they do make up and then kaeya kicks the bucket)

5) the character is supposedly from the prolouge section-- I'm not too sure abt the validity of this source tho so def take this with a grain of salt

Anyways those are just my two cents, there really isn't that big of a meaning behind this as the leaks could turn out to be false lol. It's just fun to theorize.
