Coffee & Catch-Up || The Hummels

Where: The Daily Grind

Who: Kurt & Topher

When: 9: 30 AM

Triggers: N/A

Kurt had no clue why he was nervous. He had no reason to be nervous. It was just coffee with his brother, and yet, he felt jitters over it. His knee was bouncing, and he was playing with his bare ring finger.

Kurt felt like he was missing out on the things going on in Topher’s  life. His school, his friends, his friends- Kurt knew almost nothing about them. Learning he had two girlfriends in high school- He knew about one, who was the other? Hundred of miles of distance can do that, and Kurt was determined to make up for lost time.

His patience and punctuality paid off when that familiar face finally turned a corner. Kurt stood from his spot, and shuffled through other patrons to reach his brother when he walked in the door. That nervousness began to elate when the door opened. “You weren’t lying when you said you were nearly as tall as me. Look at you, like a beansprout, you popped up out of no-where!” Kurt joked, comparing the near identical height difference with a flat hand between their foreheads.
