Possibly T O T K SPOILERS, if ya haven’t played the game yet, go do it as to not spoil yourself, this is a just in case thing.

Okay, I know this is hyper specific to me but

I don’t like the idea of the zonai being before skyward sword theory.

To put it simply, WOULDN’T THEY KNOW??? IF THERE WAS WEIRD GOAT PEOPLE WITH THEM??? AND IF THEY DID, WOULDN’T SOME OF THEM LOOK LIKE THE ANCIENT HERO, BECAUSE APPARENTLY SOME THINK THEIR HOT???

Like I’m sorry, but like the cloud barrier only blocked them from the surface, and zonai recently got done to the surface and interacted with hylians… but hylians were from the sky too…

Like these people are elves with human morals, they would have explore the shit out of the sky and found the zonai. Also no mention of loftwings and we know for a fact that the forgotten temple is old as shit, even before skyward sword. And the zonai would have known about demise too?? If they did, they probably stay far, FAR, away from the surface as it’s FUCKING CURSED!

Like I’m sorry but, they hylians and zonai would know about eachother and actually interact. So then not knowing about hylians until they descended to the ground and intermingled with hylians (a lot of them dying from either monsters or surface illnesses) and Sonia and rauru being the only hylian Zonai couple and founders of hyrule!?!

I just can’t see it man. It makes more sense if they are a strictly a fallen timeline specific species with a split evolution of the sheikah. Also to any one point out the architecture of places, each one of them is very specific in its details and only share fucking swirls because of it being a easy thing to carve, especially blocky ones for the Zonai swirls. Like cultures can share shit and not have intermingled with eachother.

Also the severe lack of mentions of hylia is very evident in these games, like only one that I remember mentioning her name is the statues of hylia and sheikah monks from BOTW, hinting the fact that the zonai DIDNT KNOW ABOUT HYLIA… they would have know if they were in the sky with pre surface hylians, cause hylians have fought demons for their goddess, and some of there devotions to hylia were so evident that the goddess had a chosen hero whom was a hylian.

The secret stones are another thing as well, if zonai knew about hylians, wouldn’t they know that they get into wars for powerful objects, like oh I don’t know the fucking triforce… that isn’t even mentioned at all in these games. Like it shows up as symbol, but never mentioned the wars it has caused, cause that is a very PROMINENT thing in hylian history.

Like everyone on the surface forgot about hylia, the triforce, the first hero and his fight against demise… and the zonai don’t know anything about the surface before coming down hints at them being the latest race of beings to exists in hyrule.

Like the these games are huge at making reference to its lore, while it’s not always comprehensive or easy to explain, but the one thing is clear for these games is that time is basically Fucking construction and reality is nothing when link is alive. Hero time of ocarina of time, obviously on point, twlight princess link time traveling through the decade form of the temple of time to a much more intact temple of time. THE AMOUT OF BULL SHIT THE PINK HAIRED LINK WENT THROUGH.

Like time is fucky wucky when link is near, but when he isn’t, it’s consistent. Hylian civil war, mentioned on both ocarina of time (being the reason why link was raised as a kokiri instead of a hylian) and twilight princess, with that horrific cutscene with the dark links. It wouldn’t makes sense for it to be mentioned in both the fallen and adult timeline, because one has a missing hero and the other has fallen.

Another thing that would disprove this theory is that the wind tribe lives in the clouds… they would have met the zonai… and probably have them curious enough to come down sooner…

This theory makes me as passionate as my hatred for fucking grimmle the grisly and the entirety of httyd three… this not normal response from me about something I disagree as I would normally shut my mouth this is other peoples opinions…

Imma go disappear now cause if I go on any more, than it would be a repeating a lot more than it already has. I’m sorry to anyone who reads this, but I need to get this of my chest.

Not to bother you but doesn't the fact that hiyori was only 15 when her and yato, who was already much older than any human, met in terms of shipping yatori? And what about the whole argument that yato stalked her? I'm sorry if this is annoying it's just that i really want to ship it now that it's canon that they at least like it each other but i tend to be easily influenced by arguments like that and i thought maybe you got something to give me peace of mind?

Hey person who sent that yatori ask here again! I just wanted to say it's ok if you don't want to answer it but i also wanted to say that your blog generally makes me feel better about shipping what i want (especially if it comes to things like yukinora) but like i can "explain away" most arguments of people who are anti yatori besides the age thing and if they become canon i might end up not enjoying noragami anymore and i just don't know how to not feel guilty about wanting to ship it idk

I had no idea this was even a thing because Yatori is such a vanilla, obvious ship (I like it!). Gosh lol. I think antis are really bored. 

My answer is honestly that it’s kind of... ludicrous to apply real world standards to a fantastical story about gods and ayakashis and the like. It’s not any different than, say, the Twilight series’ age difference. For all you could criticize about Twlight, that was the one that showed no critical thinking whatsoever. 

Myths about gods and humans falling in love have existed in every culture ever. Comparing modern power dynamics to myths or retellings of these myths completely ignores the context and is honestly bad-faith reading and a deliberate misunderstanding. Is it shown within the context to be creepy or abusive? No, it’s not. Why does a fictional story have to abide by real world standards? Why should it? It’s fantasy.

If people wanna argue that real world morality and consequences come from fiction... it’s not that simple. That’s scarily close to the “video games cause school shootings in America!” argument that has been debunked. But it’s not “no relation;” the relationship between fiction and reality is nuanced and there isn’t one right answer, which is why critical thinking is a must.

Applying morality to fiction is honestly the mark of an insecure person, imo. There’s no point to it. There are no ayakashis or dead shinkis in the real world. There aren’t young attractive gods waiting in your school bathroom. Hence we cannot translate reality into the fantasy via a one=one comparison and vice versa; to do so shows a very small worldview. Don’t engage with antis; they aren’t interested in good-faith arguments and cannot be persuaded. They are, 99.99% of the time, interested in using others to feel good about themselves like most bullies. You cannot reason with them. Just ignore them is my honest advice. 

Also, it’s fine for people to be sensitive to that; it genuinely is.However, being sensitive to or even triggered by something does not inherently make the thing you are triggered by equivalent to the memory it triggers. Speaking as someone with PTSD.

Today’s pick is a horror series we might all be familiar with 2013-2018 The Purge 1-4 while I feel the fourth instalment is my favourite 🎃🤸🏾‍♀️🎃 & has the most representation I wanted to look at it as a whole because if you take a step back it’s smarter than it seems. It touches on poverty, classism, racism and racial cleansing in all four instalments thus far. The first focusing on a rick white suburb & white family who must face the pearls of the night for allowing a homeless black army vet into their home. This is a culling of the poor but also wither intentional touches on the fact of white spaces and minorities entering them, in this case suburbs created originally by William Levitt to segregate school districts and keep minorities out and allow white flight. This rings true in the movie as the young white attackers are cleansing their community of what they see as filth. The second focused on a man seeking retribution and third focused on ending the purge also looked at racial cleansing and the rich seeing poor minorities as less than them/less deserving of life. The first three touch on major issues & featured the first & only black character in horror to survive UPTO three instalments (so put asterisk next to that one😢😑) as well as one of the best black final girls to appear on screen & other great psychos and revolutionaries throughout but to their core they’re still dumb crazy horrors that happen to have a message. The fourth however technical prequel and first to get a black director @gerard.mcmurray known for The Twlight Zone Rewind & Burning Sands. Made racism, abuse & erasure of minorities the true focus of the film as well as touching on police brutality, lynching & Tuskegee experiment. It follows the story of Nya an activist, Isiah her brother & Dmitri a gang leader who wants to keep his community safe through the night. An Honest Man

Hello guys!

Yap I’m back, again like 2 years after...

I know, I’m tooking way too long with this updates but my life have been crazy lately and I barely have time... 

But, today I’m here to update you with everything so yeah!

Last time that I posted I stopped on December 18th so, that’s where we are going to start today!

Like I said, that weekend, after my birthday, I went to Oporto. I don’t really know what to tell you but I just spent basically 3/4 days there and I went to visit some ‘monuments’ and some places that are iconic there. But then I also got a bit sick while I was there so there won’t be that many photos but yeah... Here are some :)

After that it was my sister’s birthday and again, another really busy day! First I had to wake up kinda early to go have lunch with my mum and then my sister went out with her friends and I went back to my dad’s house. We did some things that he needed to do and then we went to pick up my sister and then we had dinner with him. It was such a busy day... 

After that my days were just a mess... As you may have noticed, I’ve been REALLY away from my social media, and that was because I was just busy doing stuff with my dad and then also doing a project for uni that I had to deliver before Christmas day... and then, obviously, Christmas...

Christmas wasn’t anythig special... I spent it with my dad’s side of the family and I’m not really ‘that into them’.... I don’t spend that much time with them and I don’t have basically anything in common so... yeah.. but, I got to then spend some time with my best friend so, it was nice just because of that... It was also nice because of my presents, obvs.. But I did a video showing you all my Christmas and Birthday presents so if you want to know what I got here’s the video :)

And then, my days up until New Years Eve were also pretty crazy... While my dad were still in Portugal, we went to the cinema to see Fantastic Beasts, because I really wanted to see that movie, then on December 27th he went back to Angola so the next day was kind of a ‘crappy’ day and I just did nothing because I just want’s in the mood. And then the next days up until New Years Eve I had some uni projects to do...

New Years Eve was nice tho... I went out for once.. Not with friends, but with my mum and sister. We went out for dinner and stuff so it was nice.. It was a different New Years Eve :)

First day of the year I didn’t do anything... Instead, I just spent the whole day watching both The Challenge: Free Agents tv show and Twilight. Yep, those are my two obsessions right now... I was really feeling like watching Twlight. I don’t know, maybe it was nostalgia because of being a new year or something, but I really wanted to watch all the Twlight movies so that was basically what I did... I only got to watch until Breaking Dawn Part 1 because it was already late, but the next day I watched the Part 2 and it was really nice to rewatch everything! And then, The Challenge is basically my new obsession... If you don’t know what The Challenge is, it is basically a ‘reality show’ where the contestants do some physical things like pretty hard and then by the end of the show one wins, like any other reality show... I’m pretty addicted to be honest with you... I totally  recommend it :)

Anyway, next day I went back to hell...

Ok, I’m exagerating but yeah, January 2nd I went back to uni and let’s just say it wasn’t an easy day. 

I only left uni at 7pm and arrived home at 7.30pm... And basically, the next days were the same.. Tuesday I woke up at 6am and only arrived home at 8.30pm... and the next day I woke up at 6am again... Those have been some pretty difficult days but luckily I got to finish and deliver two projects so, only 3 more to go!

I got to upload a new video on my channel tho so.. If you haven’t seen it yet, here it is :)

On Thursday, January 5th it was the PREMIERE OF FREQUENCY HERE IN PORTUGAL! I have already seen most of the episodes but the fact that the series is now airing in Portugal makes me really excited!

And then, Friday, although I didn’t have classes (just like Thursday) I had to go to uni to do some work and stuff... My ‘friend’ wanted us to stay there until 7pm AGAIN but I just couldn’t bare with it so I just told her that I had something to do with my sister back home (which is kinda true) and yeah, I just left a few hours after lunch... It was nice because I got to do A LOT of things like film a new video, clean my room and watch Shadowhunter’s new episode!

The Challenge was also on that day so, NICE! If you’re portuguese and want to watch it like ‘live’ when it airs on TV it airs on Fridays at 10pm on MTV :) AND Frequency airs on Thursdays at 11pm on AXN :) SO, don’t miss those series because they’re both freaking amazing!

And yeah... Yesterday I went shopping but I didn’t buy much, only a shirt, a makeup brush and a lash curler because the one that I had broke... And yeah, today I really need to do some uni stuff because I didn’t do anything yesterday :\
