Matter of fact all the guys are dumb in this show lmao. Why do they keep antagonising someone who can kill them instantly. Then when they ask how she got so strong and she tells them to go into the dungeon they bitch about that too. yumiella can’t win 🤦🏽‍♂️. Happens irl too. People will ask you how you got something and then you explain and they say it’s too much work or they don’t wanna do it, but still jealous of you lol.

Well we know Alicia isn’t another isekaiee now. She and Edwin are getting on really well for a commoner and royalty. It’s interesting seeing an otome where that doesn’t even come up, everyone is so hyper fixated on Yumiella that it’s not an issue in this one lol. It’s funny seeing how to Alicia, Yumiella is like this ball of evil energy because of her dark magic.

Speaking of Patrick, it’s no surprise Yumiella is so taken by him so soon. He’s the first guy to actually treat her like a girl. Protecting her from the beast even though she’s clearly the strongest on the field and how he just has normal strategic convos with her. He understands the ins and outs of things in a way she hasn’t seen anyone do yet. Looking forward to seeing them interact more. Anyone who can make Yumiella blush is good in my book

The general anime was quite simple and silly, it's true that some stuff felt underwhelming, and there was stuff I wanted more of, like I really wanted to see more of Elenore, I loved her character so much but we barely got to see her even when the ending is literally hers.

But aside from that, I quite liked this anime that it healed some stuff that I still had struggles with... Kinda like... it erased the link I had between something and negative feelings... So that thing is now free again which is quite nice!!

Villainess Lv 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss, But I’m Not the Demon Lord is an adorable comedy isekai that works because even though Yumiella is monstrously overpowered, the stakes are always related to her social standing and relationships, not about whether she can win in a fight. The fact that she just wants to be left in peace but keeps getting hounded by the “heroes” of the game is also an endless font of comedy.
