We find ourselves looking at what looks like a small private Karaoke room, red fabric lines the walls and a small slightly elevated 'stage' area takes up the front of the room while comfortable looking chars fill the rest of the space surrounding a small table littered with half finished drinks and glass bottles, a long with an assortment of finger foods.

Dave and Nix can both be seen seated around the stage, their attention focused on the commotion up that way, a look of amusement on their faces as they seem to be trying not to laugh. Guard the gallade sits beside Nix, his orange vest striking in the dimly Lit room while Quincy the Rotom rests on Dave's lap.

On the stage itself stands Ren and Amy, who had seemingly been mid duet when Cooper the hisuian sneasel had begun to climb the professor like a tree, attempting to steal the microphone out of the Professor's hand. The two seem to be valiantly persevering at trying to finish the song, despite Amy having to actively wrestle with Cooper and Ren laughing so hard that their Orthworm, Lulu, is helping hold them upright. }:

August 13th through to August 17th is the Ichowan Festival of Aitorosu (Enamorus) - There's no specific event happening but people (especially sinnohans) are encouraged to engage in the holiday. ask @volnixian about the holiday (it's basically valentines day but better)

Overall is no-stakes but if people make higher stakes or drama stakes in relation to the holiday that's fine. i might have an actual event in sinnoh - more details coming :)

Well, My suspicions were right, they ARE making me cover the floral department today ¬_¬ this is probably the busiest day of the year for floral, joy oh joy.

Speaking of joy though, I have had one highlight so far today, in between the less than patient customers! My Cousin (@volnixian) ended up coming in! I didn't even know he was IN Sinnoh at the moment, and honestly it was good to see him, it feel like its been about forever. I made sure to extend an invite to our Diya no Danai gathering as well, so I'm looking forward to that!!

I have consulted with @volnixian the leading (and probably only) expert in the Hisuian Zorua line, one of the few people left who still knows the language of Ichowan, and all around cool person, I've decided to name the pup Hinātsu which means "One with blood-red hair."

For those wondering it's pronounced "Hee - NAH - tsoo," a fact I would not have learned without the help of Nix's Hisuian Zoroark friend and companion Zorrik. Thanks all around to these wonderful people who I'm glad to call, at the very least, internet friends.
