Y/N didn't want to do the whole big brother thing, but he felt that he should at least get the target off his baby brother's back. Especially, the Ares cabin. Clarissa was really gunning for him because he was new and looked like he would lose a fight to a marshmallow. No one believed he took on the Minotaur.

So, during capture the flag, Y/N turned to everyone at camp. "Alright. Listen up. I know we're all excited and terrified to have another son of Poseidon walking around at camp, so I'm here to tell you all right here and now , hat we will all get along well with each other swimmingly."

He looks around at everyone. "But that doesn't mean you can or will take out your pranks or bullying on my little brother." He pointed to Percy. "If anyone has a problem with him, come to me and I will deal with it. But if you come after him... I'll come after you." He looks at Clarissa and her cabin as he said that last part, Bone steel trident in his hands.

Percy had a small frown on his boyish features. He watched his older brother Y/N make water constructs. Some were big. Others were smaller, but all the same, Y/N could do things that Percy couldn't do, and it was frustrating. "It's not fair. How come I can't do that? Making magical water statues?"

Y/N noticed his teenage pout. The way his eyes shined with mischief and childlike defiance. It was adorable, and Y/N knows he's going to pay for it later, but he reached out a hand and pinched Percy's cheeks. "It's because little brother... I've been doing this longer than you have. You'll catch up eventually... squirt."

"Squirt?" Percy gasped. "I'm not a Squirt. I'm twelve-years-old."

"You're basically a baby, dude." Y/N teased.

"Baby?! I'm not a baby. Why you..."

Percy ran after Y/N, chasing him down from the Poseidon cabin to the lake.

Percy jackson x older brother reader

After their mom got turned into gold dust by the Minotaur reader used his water bending powers and killed the beast saving both him and percy

Percy collapsed on his older brothers chest crying at the lost of their mother,his older brother immediately picked him up and continued moving to camp half blood using his powers to move faster in the rain

"I love you. I love you both. Be good to each other. Fight for each other."

Those were the last words Y/N and Percy's mother had said to them before she disappeared into a shimmering golden form, almost as if she never existed at all. The Minotaur had grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up when she tried to side step with Percy's red coat. It hadn't worked out well for Sally Jackson.

"Mom! Mom!" Percy said through teary-eyed eyes. He couldn't believe what had just happened. Their mom was gone right before their very eyes.

The Mintotaur tightened its now empty grasp and snarls. It almost sounds like it's laughing. Percy felt a wave of anger crashing through his body. He tightened the grip on his pen, ready to uncap it, but Y/N held his hand out, stopping Percy. "This is my fight, little brother. Get to the hill. Both you and Grover. Go!"

"But, Y/N. I wanna–"

"GO PERCY!" Y/N snapped. He turned to him, eyes glowing a bright blue as the water from the rain started to wrap around his body. The Minotaur's silhouette turned towards them. Percy nods and help Grover up as they hobbled up the path to the hill.

The Minotaur roars and charged on all fours. Y/N could hear its angry snarls and bellows as it got closer and closer to him. He threw his head and arms back as the water forming around him sharpened itself to a point before Y/N let them loose as they zoomed towards the monster, cutting one of its horns off as the rest embedded themselves inside the Minotaur's head and body as it continued its charge.

In a rage over losing their mother, Y/N slashed the air with his hand towards the Minotaur, and it stopped in its tracks as it looked at Y/N for a moment, before it was split down the middle. Y/N had sharpened the rain water like a blade. The Beast turns to ash and disappears. Y/N falls to his knees and catches his breath, tears staining his face over his lost mother.

He walked up the path towards Percy and Grover as Percy ran to him and hugged him. Percy buried his curls inside Y/N's chest and cried and cried until he passed out from exhaustion.

Y/N carried Percy in his arms and Grover on his back, as he made a water wave and rode it all the way towards camp in the rain.

"Oh, wow," Clarisse said. "I'm scared of this guy. I'm really scared." She and her cabin mates laughed at that.

"The flag is that way." Percy told her. He tried to sound tough, but he was sure it wasn't working because Clarisse and her siblings drew in closer.

"Yeah." one of her siblings said. "But see, we don't care about the flag. We care about a guy who made our cabin look stupid."

"You do that without his help." A voice said.

Clarisse and her siblings turned to see Y/N with his bone trident out. He had a pissed off expression on his face as the Ares cabin spread out in preparation for a fight

"Come to save your little brother, punk?" Clarisse growled, spear raised and charged with electricity.

"I warned you, La Rue. My little brother was off limits, but since you Ares cabin are as stupid and as dense as your father, I guess I have no choice but to act accordingly." Y/N said.

The Ares cabin didn't like being called 'stupid' or 'dense.' And they certainly didn't like having their father insulted by Y/N as Clarisse and her siblings charged forward. A simple flick of the wrist and Y/N watched as the lake grabbed the God of War's children and threw them into the lake, kicking and screaming profanities that would have made Chiron blush.

Y/N smiled. "Looks like this is a win for the Poseidon cabin."

"Percy, being a son of Poseidon , isn't all that it's cracked up to be. There are dangers and dark sides to being a child of the Big Three." Y/N said. They stood out on the dock of the lake, watching sea serpents swimming about, or the naiads giggling in the corner of the lake.

Looking for the water to Y/N, Percy trained his blue eyes on his big brother. "What do you mean by that? What could be dark or bad about control over water?"

"Well, being able to control water doesn't just mean the sea or a lake. There are other places filled with water that we don't think about. Places that make you feel so bad that you dare not use them." Y/N said.

"Like what?" Percy pushed. "You can tell me."

"We can control the liquid inside a person and make them into puppets. Their every movement is based on what we want them to do. We can cause an aneurysm in the brain. Control poisons. All because these places have water or liquid-like substances surrounding them."

Percy, let that sink in. He always wondered what else they could do being Poseidon's kids, but he never imagined anything like that. Something so dark and scary. "Have you ever... ever used it on someone?"

Y/N looks at Percy and nods slowly. "Once. On a monster. And on Clarisse. I didn't like the way it felt, which is why I pray you never have to use these tricks unless it's an extreme emergency."
