there was some artwork from someone on tublr..where they pointed out that he doesnt really talk outside the metaverse so--hes hyperverbal as joker and just near nonverbal as akiren

he stims ALL THE TIME. that phone thing, the pencil thing, the little tappy tap of his foot, pulling at his bangs when hes embarrassed/smug. someone get him a fidget spinner. he’ll prob learn to do tricks with it

he probably sucks at focusing in class, like i know its just the game design but hes always surprised out of his daily “star out the window at the nearby office building” when his teachers ask him questions

mona mentions when the pt is at Wilton for the first time (after they run into shido) that joker eats like shit, and that could have multiple causes at the start of the story of course, but when i first played i thought that joker was a picky eater and that the variety (and amount of food) at the buffet would be an Ordeal...

tho mona makes that comment bc joker looked pale after having a little ptsd moment from shidos voice, but i didnt know that the first time i played

maybe when joker makes a face at ryuji putting so much ginger in his gyudon? joker probably does not like pickled ginger lol

Here we go!! A Bungo stray dogs and WT matchup?? I am a straight female, my mbti is the Debater which I think is accurate, bc I'm p good at playing devil's advocate lol, I'm also a Scorpio! Bungou Stray Dogs

 Aaah this one has been pretty difficult ! To be honest, I spent long minutes scrolling through my list of BSD chracters, but I kinda ignored the Guild (except Poe and Louisa, its characters are difficult to me to write for) and when I looked at it again, I realized Mark Twain would be a perfect fit for you ! You’re both very energetic people so you would find in each other someone that matches your energy. That wouldn’t keep Mark from helping you calm down when you’re too anxious, making jokes to put you at ease or if you don’t feel like laughing, putting on his music to center your thoughts. Or read a exerpt of his autobiography, that’s entirely up to you.

If you challenge this man to video games, especially shooting games, he will absolutely crush you : s/o or not, Mark gives me the impression of someone very competitive. Plus, his shooting skills wouldn’t leave you any chances… But afterwards, he would give you tips and I have no doubts that with that kind of teacher, you would get better at video games really quick. Since the day he learns that you love rollercoasters, 80% of your dates would be at amusement parks. He enjoys them very much and would scream at every single loop. Every. Single. Loop. Not because he’s scared, of course, but because he thinks it’s funnier this way.

He would love your collections and joke about the knives, telling you to not to use them on him. About spiders… Let’s be honest here : he would probably tell Huck and Tom to take care of them. I can already imagine you two standing on a table while he looks for the spider with his Ability… Finally, Mark is very flirty as well (I mean he just walks around with his shirt open-) and I believe the beginning of your relationship would just be playful dates, before it becomes something deeper. You two would have a serious talk about polyamory – I think Twain would be willing to try even if he would probably prefer to be exclusive, but with some conditions since he hasn’t done this before.

World Trigger

Now, for World Trigger ! This one was way more obvious : I match you with Yosuke Yoneya ! Like Twain, he’s a very energetic young man who probably plays video games and reads manga (bonus points for you if you talk to him about the pins on his uniform). When you first meet, you would immediately put you at ease - Yoneya is someone easy to be around of - and would make sure you aren’t intimidated by the fact he’s in a high-ranked unit. He would find your height difference adorable and would regularly prank you just to see your expression – unless he feels you’re anxious. In this case, he would try his best to soothe you and bring you to a place where you are more confortable.

Yoneya would definitely come ask you to help for his math homework and if you refuse, he would insist with his puppy eyes until you give in. He may be an A-class agent, but he still needs to pass his classes and god know this boy is bad at school (he has one of the worst grades in Border, very far from his unit’s nerds). He wouldn’t mind your cursing, he probably does it too, and can be a big flirt too. However, unlike Twain, I believe he wouldn’t want to be in a poly relationship.

76. “I wouldn’t change a thing about you.”

Yosuke was incredibly excited as he boarded the train toTokyo.  His parents and Teddie had cometo see him off, and he had been getting messages from his friends all daywishing him luck in the city.  They wereall busy with their own lives and weren’t able to make it, but it didn’t botherYosuke like it would have two years ago. He understood and knew that they did care.  He had to pry himself away from Teddie whowas crying his eyes out upon his brother figure finally leaving, and Yosuke hadto wipe his eyes discreetly while boarding the train at the thought of leavingthe place where he had grown as a person and leaving his friends andfamily.  He plastered a smile on his faceand waved at his family once he found his seat, however, and ensured he lookedas confident as possible to them so they wouldn’t have to worry.

He was happy to finally be returning to the city, this timeas a more mature person who would be approaching it with a much different perspectivethan when he had been younger.  He wasalso going to meet the person he respected most in the world, which he honestlycared about far more than the fact he was finally going to be in Tokyoagain.  After working his butt off histhird year, he managed to get into one of the same universities as Yu, and hewas moving out there in order to move in with his best friend – his partner.  Yosuke’s heart fluttered at the thought, andhe ducked his head down in order to avoid having the people sitting around himnotice his blushing face.

Yu had already been in their dormitory for a few days, andYosuke had shipped out some of his bulkier items ahead of time for Yu to pickup and hold for him in the dorm.  SinceYu already lived in the city, it was easier for him to travel over and get setup.  Yosuke had a few final shifts leftat work and the school year had run a bit longer than Yu’s, so it took him abit longer to meet up with his friend. After a year without Yu, struggling with missing him and with trying toget his abysmal grades up to par, Yosuke finally felt like his life was comingtogether.  He didn’t know what he wantedto study yet but knew with his partner by his side he would be able to figureit out.

Yosuke listened to his music on his new headphones that Yuhad gotten him for his last birthday, since his old ones had finally started towear out.  They were much nicer than hisold ones and he appreciated the better sound quality.  One of the things he was excited about withmoving to the city was being on top of music again – it was hard in Inaba whenhe had to go to Okina to find anything decent and they were much farther behindand had a smaller selection than the stores he used to frequent in thecity.  He had discovered so much goodmusic perusing music shops and was looking forward to killing time doing that again.

After several hours, and a few line transfers once he gotinto the city, his train was finally pulling into the station where Yu had alreadymessaged him saying he was waiting for him. Yosuke jiggled his leg in nervous anticipation, craning his neck to lookout the window and trying to spot his best friend on the crowded platform.  His arms were characteristically crossed onhis chest, although the moment his friendly brown eyes locked onto Yu’s calm,gray gaze, he unfolded them in order to wave excitedly.  Yu smiled warmly and waved back, before makinghis way through the crowd in order to get closer to the front of theplatform.  Once the train came to a stop,Yosuke quickly grabbed his bag from the overhead and pushed his way through theexiting crowd, making a beeline for his best friend and throwing his armsaround him.

Yu looked a little surprised by his enthusiastic greeting,but gratefully hugged him back.  “Welcomeback to the city,” Yu greeted, before reaching over to grab Yosuke’s bag.

Yosuke tried to protest, but Yu took it anyway with his confidentgrin.  Yosuke knew there was no arguingwith that smile.  Instead, he lightlypunched him on the arm, before asking, “How’s it been going, partner?”

They began to chat as they headed toward their dormitory,which was a bit far from the station but close enough that they weren’t goingto waste their money on a taxi.  As theytalked, Yosuke soon began to notice that he was carrying the conversation morethan usual, and that Yu seemed a bit withdrawn. While his friend was always the quieter of the two of them, when theywere both hanging out together Yosuke tended to draw Yu out of his shell,allowing his true, sometimes oddball personality to shine.  Yosuke found himself missing that side of hisfriend, but he waited until they reached the dorm and Yosuke had met with theRA and signed his paperwork to address it. Once they were both in their small, yet already cozy since Yu hadunpacked and put both their stuff up just how Yosuke would like it room, Yosuketurned to Yu and bluntly asked, “So, what the heck’s going on with you?”

Yu blinked in surprise, not expecting such a direct questionfrom the brunet.  “What do you mean?” heasked, looking confused.

“Well, you’ve been quieter than usual,” Yosukeadmitted.  “Like, I know everyone elseexpects that from you, but I know you. You can’t hide behind that calm façade with me.”

Yu blushed at his honest response, and he looked awaybashfully for a moment.  Yosuke wassurprised by his reaction, for that was usually the route he’d take; Yu alwaystended to be the more honest one out of the two of them.  “I just,” Yu started slowly.  “I’m nervous. We haven’t seen each other much in the past year, and I was afraid thatmaybe in that time apart, you’d realize you didn’t need me anymore.”  Yu breathed a deep sigh after unloading thatfrom his chest, while Yosuke stared at him in complete shock.

They were silent for a moment, and Yu nervously lookedaround the room at anything but his partner while Yosuke let that sink in.  Yosuke reached out and placed a hand on Yu’sarm, causing him to flinch.  “Yu,” hesaid seriously, dropping the pet name which immediately caught his friend’sattention.  Yu met Yosuke’s eyessteadily, ready to face whatever answer Yosuke had, which caused the brunet tofeel relieved.  That was more like hispartner.  “I wouldn’t change anythingabout you,” Yosuke said resolutely.  “We’repartners – we rely on each other.  I don’tcare how much time we’re apart – I’ll always need you.”

Yu’s breath caught in his throat at Yosuke’s reply, and hehesitatingly reached up to grasp Yosuke’s arm with the same hand.  “I feel the same way,” he replied honestly,his gray eyes looking searchingly into Yosuke’s.

Yosuke grinned, and without breaking eye contact drew hisface closer until his forehead rested against Yu’s.  “You don’t know how happy I am to hear yousay that,” he replied, a slight tremor in his voice.  

Yu closed his eyes and soaked in the moment, beforewhispering hesitatingly, “Is it ok if…?” before trailing off.

Yosuke nodded his head quietly, and Yu then angled his headcarefully before moving in hesitantly. To his relief, Yosuke met him halfway, and they warmly shared theirfirst kiss, immediately feeling at ease once they realized that the other sharedthe same feelings.  They took it slow,basking in each other’s comfortable presence, using the moment to learn how tofeel each other and what position felt right. When they pulled away, Yosuke’s face was bright red while even Yu had aslight blush on his cheeks.  “This isgoing to be an interesting semester,” Yosuke joked, trying to play it off inhis nervousness and crossing his arms while looking away.

Yu laughed lightly, recognizing Yosuke’s defense mechanismand knowing it was just out of embarrassment. “I look forward to learning a lot, partner,” he said teasingly, andYosuke blushed harder before punching him on the arm.  He was also smiling, however, and Yu foundhis heart skip a beat at his flustered expression.  It would be a semester to remember, indeed.
