A little Christmas magic for the gardener! My first amaryllis, the variety is called ‘Apple Blossom’, opened fully today. Everyone who has ever grown amaryllises knows how hard it is to time the opening of the flowers. So I will just consider this a good omen. I hope your Christmas celebrations are lovely and you are having a beautiful day! Here the weather is absolutely wonderful and we sat long in the garden and simply enjoyed the sun. We will be going for a dog walk later and look at the beautiful Christmas lights in our neighbor at dawn. Then its time for a special Christmas dinner and after that to retreat under the Christmas tree and enjoy the Christmas presents. I am wishing you lots of love and peace on this special day.
