ive said this like three times but god i’m literally in love with the way you talk about phantom of the opera i need to listen to or when i have the time

oh no please tell me that over and over. im like a puppy any sign of affection no matter how repeated makes me lose my fuckin marbles. BUT IM REALLH GLAD YOU LIKE IT EHEHE special interest go brrrrrrrr. i've liked phantom of the opera since i was a kid (operetta was one of my favorite monster high characters. the others being clawdeen and draculaura) and i only got to like. listen to it less than a year ago? but good LORD has it given me the worst brain worms ever. i connect every piece of media i consume to it. france? just like phantom of the opera. singing? just like phantom of the opera. basement dweller? just like phantom of the opera. i literally cant recommend the ALW soundtrack enough. every cast recording of it is sooooooo fuckin delicious but i personally listen to the 1987 cast recording (here on spotify). the phantom as a character is so interesting because he's haughty and thinks of himself as above everyone behind closed doors but the second someone sees him he immediately starts groveling and it's soooo fuckin funny. ALSO if you're at all interested in costuming POTO has some of the most gorgeous costuming. big puffy dresses... the masquerade costumes are always stunning
