Frog time frog time frog time frog time!!!

pickerel frog (Lithobates palustris)

And I believe the second one is an especially dark southern leopard frog (Lithobates sphenocephalus)

Poor turtle got smooshed at the construction site but at least I got a cool tiny skull out of it

I love the Potomac River

#wrenfea.png #this is at leeslyvania state park #taken a couple of weeks ago #we built living shorelines along this part of the park and were checking them for storm damage #got paid to basically stroll along the beaches and riverbank #also theres a train that goes by sometimes #my coworker has a video of one ill have to ask him for it #in the summer i went swimming here and it was wonderful but there is a slight smell #absolutely gorgeous here
