On Tuesday night Rollan sat on the dinner table with Gerda‘s new letter he received and pondered about what he could write to her.

Luta showed up, climbing up on the dinner table with a small walnut in her mouth, then sat beside Rollan‘s hands to see him writing the letter.

„Luta, what do you think does this sound like so far…..Dear Gerda. I‘m happy to know you and your team are alright. It‘s a good idea, that you‘re taking time to get to know Madrid and Porto. I‘ve never been anywhere in Portugal, but I assume it‘s a nice place…..What do you think should I add to the letter. I got nothing special to say about the academy and the cubs are fine for now?“ Rollan asked watching Luta look at the letter, then place the nut down and lean her arms over it to think. „I‘ll mention the boys anyway…..Orm‘s cousins are well. Yesterday night my mama and I took them out at the beach and grilled a few delicious sausages. They were happy about that evening and we‘re planning to repeat it tonight again. I thought about telling the boys some stories to make them fall asleep….“Rollan placed his hand on his chin thinking on a continuation, then a handball flew toward his head making him shut his eyes wide in surprise, then looked down at Ivan, which laughed at Rollan‘s reaction.

„Hey, hey, hey the house is no playground for that ball,“ Rollan warned, then the cub walked to Rollan‘s leg, then tried to climb up and Rollan helped him sat upon his knee. „I‘m still working on my letter for Gerda. When I‘m done, we‘ll leave, don‘t worry,“ Assured the raven-haired boy as he patted the cub on the head. „Hey, have you got any ideas, what I could write on the letter for Gerda?“ Rollan asked seeing Ivan look at his sheet and move his hand at Rollan‘s hand, then he let the troll take it, which began to scrabble on it.

„Don‘t use the full sheet. I want to write one more sentence or two,“ Commented the raven-haired boy. Rollan sighed placing his hands in front of his forehead to study what he should notice down on the sheet. His mother got into the living room bringing in her arms Leonid, which had his face painted with red lipstick all over the place and she sat the cub down on the table next to Luta, which widened her eyes surprised at the cub‘s makeover.

„Uh…...what was Leonid doing alone in the bathroom?“ Questioned Leticia watch Rollan take down his arms and shriek at the face of the cub.

„Hey little guy, where did you find that?“ Rollan questioned placing his finger on his fur to take a sample of tint off him. „You have used it wrong by the way, you have to put it on your lips, you know this“ Rollan pointed at his lips, then Leonid placed his hands on Rollan‘s mouth and marked him with a bit of lipgloss color. „Nope, this isn‘t my thing,“

Luta picked the paw of the cub and marked it on the sheet next to Ivan‘s pencil, then Rollan had another idea for the letter and grabbed the pencil from Ivan and wrote next to the drabble another sentence.

„The cubs and Luta are missing you too. I have let them sign here on our sheet too. Enjoy your time in Madrid and Portugal. I can‘t wait to see you again when you‘re back. If we‘ve got the possibility we could hang out for a while if you‘d like. Te quiero tanto mi dulce amor, Con amor. Rollan,“ Rollan ended the letter, then made a heart in the end and got surprised at the sudden heart he made there, then shrugged his arms and drew a few around the sheet, then looked at the troll cubs watch Rollan do it, then they wanted to tag their paws on his sheet and before they did it Rollan stopped them.

„Wait, wait. Do it right here under my name. Cause that‘s where you all have to sign,“ Rollan mentioned, then Luta marked her paw under Rollan‘s name and guided Ivan to do the same next to hers.

„Alright, I‘m going to tie the letter up on the swift, so he can leave,“ Rollan announced, then his mother stopped him.

„Let‘s wait until we leave, mi Hijo. So he can rest more before he takes it back to Gerda,“ Suggested Leticia making Rollan nod.

„Bien. You‘re right, he really deserves it,“ Rollan commented looking into the kitchen to see the bird eat at the window apple seeds. One of the cubs trips over the handball as he wanted to climb over it and fells down on his back, then began to sob calling Rollan and Leticia‘s attention. The mother of Rollan took the cub in her arms to comfort him, making Rollan smile noticing the cub gaze at his mother enamored. „Hey I think this little guy just gave me another idea for practice,“

„Hijo, you‘re in the academy for an entire week. You‘ll be able to learn there too,“

„Si mama, but I have an idea or two of how I could train too to improve. It won‘t be for so long, I swear,“ Rollan promised making his mother nod.

„Muy Bien. I know how much you‘ve been trying to prove yourself to get further in this and after last Sunday, you‘re really qualified for that so I can only help you when you need it. But don‘t forget you also need your break and time to rest, si lindo?“ Leticia commented placing her hand on his shoulder earning a nod from her son.

„Claro, mama,“ Rollan promised wrapping his arms around the woman. „Te adoro,“ The Spaniard said with a smile feeling his mother caress his back with her one free hand.

Orm sat on the outside of the cabin of Alfida‘s airship reading a book, then he noticed the ladder, that hung out of the ship move as someone had begun to use it and Orm glanced out to look down and spot Gerda coming up with a small bundle of textiles under her arm.

„Why are you back so early?“ Questioned Orm. „Haven‘t you find anything interesting?“

„It‘s not that, but Kai found this black wig, which could help you disguise yourself to go under the people,“

„You want me to come with you? What if people notice me?“ Orm asked watching Gerda put the wig over Orm‘s head.

„Let me think of something you could wear…..yes, Alfida‘s jacket,“ Gerda commented picking up the long, red jacket which belonged to the uniform of King Harold‘s guards, then helped Orm get into it. „Okay, boots will be hard to find, unless…..,“ Gerda went to open up a drawer under the bookshelf to look for anything for the troll, then took out long black stockings and helped Orm to put them on. Orm fell down on the ground, then Gerda tried to push the sock up above the foot of Orm.

„It seems harder than it looks on you two,“

„Maybe if you would give a little help it would be easier for me,“ Gerda complained making Orm chuckle at Gerda‘s reaction, then it ripped making the two look at each other.

„Look Orm, I think you better try this on your own while I look here for something, that could disfarce your face a little or at least make it look more human,“

„The easiest thing for me would be using a mask with a human face…..or paint my face like those humans we saw at that one party in Madrid,“ Orm mentioned trying to put on the sock over his leg.

Gerda got up, afterward walked across the cabin and looked at the fewer accessories Alfida had collected during the trip and picked up a black fan and opened it to take a look into it so see a red Taurus shaped on it.

„Why again did Alfida buy this?“ Gerda questioned looking at it, then Orm got up to put on the second sock over his leg.

„I think one of those dresses we‘ve seen in the Spanish books was better than this,“ Orm complained giving Gerda an idea.

„That‘s it!“ Gerda shouted earning Orm‘s attention, which then handed the troll the fan out. „You hide your face behind this and to make it more decent…...“

„Okay,“ Orm said holding it in front of him making Gerda chuckle, then Orm faked a feminine giggle while hiding behind the fan.

„Well done Orm,“ Complimented Gerda earning a nod from the troll.

„Okay, where do you plan on going to?“ Orm asked watching Gerda walk out of the ship to look at the location and think of a place the two could go.

„I heard about a library, which some people refer it also as the cathedral of the books. I‘m curious to check it out,“

„Okay and where are Kai and Alfida?“

„They‘re somewhere. They‘re supposed to pass more time together on their own,“

„Okay,“ Orm responded, then his stomach began to growl, making Orm grin sheepishly. „Eventually getting something to eat would not be bad,“

„Sure, shall we go first or later to the library?“ Gerda asked.

„Doesn‘t matter, whatever comes along first,“ Orm responded making Gerda nod, then she went above the ship to climb down the ladder, afterward Orm tried to descend along carefully due to the jacket he had been wearing cause him a bit difficult to move on.

At the beach near San Gabriel, where Rollan had passed time together with the troll cubs a few days ago he stood over the amount of rocks piled on the sand out to the sea. Each troll stood at the middle of the mount and near the sea stood Ivan holding a few small stones on his hands and Rollan stood next to the cubs placing a few smaller ones next to him he found alongside the beach.

Rollan‘s mother held Luta in her arms, watching her son instruct the cub about his plan. Leticia looked at the weasel, which noticed the woman‘s worry about the son, and returned her face toward the Spaniard, which climbed up on the rocks to get to his starting position.

„I‘m starting to think he‘s taking all this too far,“ Leticia mentioned patting Luta on her head.

Rollan waved at the cubs as he was on the end of the stone hill, then he began to run over the stones and gave Ivan the sign, which began to throw his stones one by one at him. Rollan dodges the first stone, then kept going in one line, and noticed Ivan throwing the rest of the stones in the same direction.

„Okay Ivan, next time you can try to aim in different directions,“ Rollan said watching Ivan nod, observing the tall human continue his way on the hill, then Leonid was the next one in line and threw them in various directions, which Rollan dodged without a problem and the last one touched him on his elbow narrowly hurting him. „Not bad,“ Rollan complimented getting closer to the third cub, which threw two at once against Rollan and stopped as he already ran out of stones. Rollan gave the cub a thumb up and stopped meters away from the bridge over the channel that led to the sea.

„Mama, please I need at least a fourth person to do the same thing,“ Rollan asked walking down the rocks. „Otherwise it doesn‘t work alright,“

„I don‘t feel alright doing that Rollan. You better let the trolls do that or do something else instead. Something you don‘t need to have me throw stones or anything at you,“

„Okay, boys let's give it another try,“ Rollan asked, then began to race back on the stones and the cubs all began to throw more stones against Rollan, now with Leonid throwing back at Rollan instead of waiting for him, it caused the raven-haired more difficulty leading him to distraction and receiving two stones on his head, causing him to stop and hold his hand up to warn all to give up.

„Okay! Okay! I think we should do something else or…...do this differently,“ Rollan spoke, then sat down on the stones and looked at the two younger trolls climb on the stones up to the boy, then glanced sadly at the boy, which placed his hand on their shoulders. „You still did good, it‘s just not going the way I had planned,“ Rollan mentioned, then Leonid leaned his head on Rollan‘s waist making the boy grin, and place his hand on the cub‘s head. „We may find something else,“

Ivan pulled Rollan on the lapels of his shirt catching the attention of the boy, then pointed up at the railway, where a locomotive was passing over the bridge pulling wagons.

„Yeah we‘ve got locomotives over here too, mostly for transportation of goods,“ Rollan commented, then Ivan continued to pull the boy again on the lapels and point at the place the locomotive was passing by, then Ivan grabbed one stone and pointed up at the place, then back at him and Rollan. „You want to go there?“ Rollan questioned making Ivan nod and point at Rollan, then back at the railway. „I should go there?“ Rollan asked earning a nod from the cub, then he pointed down at the pile of stones, they were sitting on. „The rocks?“ Rollan asked, then Ivan threw one of the stones away and waited for Rollan to understand. „I‘m not really understanding it,“

The troll from the middle got up and grabbed Rollan on his hand, then signaled him to go after him and he ran over the stone pile as Rollan followed him normally and the cub arrived at the end watching Rollan stop and look up at the last wagons passing by, then the cub threw a stone at Rollan, which hit him on the stomach. „Hey! That doesn‘t count,“ Rollan complained, then the cub pointed at himself, then up at the wall, where the railway was, and moved his arm as if he was throwing something and ended with pointing at Rollan again.

„You want to throw stones at me from up there?“ Rollan asked earning a nod from the troll. „That‘s it!“ Rollan shouted and picked up Ivan and Leonid to hug them. „I can also just practice dodging without the need to run, great idea guys,“ Rollan complimented walking toward the wall and went on his tiptoes and reached up the two cubs up at the top of the wall, so they could climb up on the stone-made platform, afterward he helped out the last cub, then returned back to obtain the stones, that were used and threw them up, while the cubs watched them get into their level.

„We can use some of the ones from the railway too as long as there‘s no danger,“ Rollan mentioned then watched Leonid and his older brother put stones aside while Ivan from behind them threw up a couple of stones, afterward he was helped up back on the platform and got ready along with his siblings to help Rollan.

„Good, I‘m ready,“ Rollan said stepping back a few feet, then gave the cubs a thumb up, which began to throw stones at the raven-haired boy, which began to move from side to side on the stones, then tripped over a stone landing on his butt, then the cubs paused, followed by Leonid throw his last stone, which hit Rollan on his forehead. „Whoa! Okay, this is a little too much at the moment. Leonid and Ivan, you two do for now on deal with the stones. When I‘m getting the hand out of it, you‘ll three do it at once, okay?“ Rollan asked, then the cubs began to throw stones one by one against the teenager, which dodged them all while managing to work on his moves over the rocks to avoid falling.

 At the port across the river Enrico, Ernesto, and the father of Enrico sat on a carriage together riding on the road, therefore Ernesto looked aside to see the surroundings, then recognized Rollan by his clothing and observed him being thrown with stones making the brunette furrow his eyebrows perplexed about what he saw.

„I think I should have stayed back,“ Ernesto said earning a glare from his friend.

„What are you talking about?“ Enrico asked, then Ernesto pointed at the other side of the river, so Enrico would notice Rollan practicing. „What is that guy doing there?“ Questioned the raven-haired boy making Ernesto shrug his shoulders and Enrico‘s father looked over the river too to see, what the boys were talking about.

„Hmm those…..beings there don‘t look like any common ones around here,“ Enrico‘s father commented.

„They look like some sort of monkeys,“ Enrico mentioned. „Some odd looking ones,“

„Sort of…..But they‘re attacking him for real or is this some way they‘re training together?“ Questioned Ernesto watching the troll cubs stop to see Rollan clap with his hands, then he began to pick up the stones he got thrown with.

„I think the latter one is right, but who are they exactly to be training him?“ Questioned Enrico making his friend shrug his shoulders.

„You have several ways to find it out. I have the feeling there‘s something special about them,“

„We‘ll see it then,“ Ernesto answered. „What do you say, Enrico?“

„Sure….“ Enrico commented watching Rollan hand out the stones at the cubs, which picked it up, then the chubby one of the trio lost his equilibrium falling onto Rollan‘s head making him chuckle and hold him behind his back making the cub smile.

Tell me a fun childhood story (I’ll start! One time an aunt gave me money to buy ‘papas’ (potatoes) at the grocery store so bc I’m obedient af I went and asked the counter lady how many of em could I buy with the money I had so she went ‘uhh, not many tbh’ so i ended up getting like two and when I returned to my aunt’s house she laughed her ass off and said: I meant ‘papas fritas’ (potato chips) Not those! - and uh yeah this is funnier in Spanish but it proves that I’m such an innocent angel I mean wow) /  Well not much happened in my childhood but I remember how before I moved to England (I used to live in India), me and my friends (we were 7 year olds) would practice talking in English because ‘I needed to get used to it’, and now I talk to them about that and we just laugh at it lmao trust me it’s funnier than it sounds if you’ve experienced it.

Empathetic, down to earth and modest, generally cheerful person who is positive and optimistic. A bit extroverted. In general, similar to me, I guess.
