zelma o’neal in peach-o-reno

a fairly thankless role for her imo. i was hoping she’d have a big musical number. i really loved her in follow thru (she was the best part of that film!) but the size of her part in this is so much smaller. i read that people said she didn’t have a presence that translated to screen - she was only good on stage - but i think she had amazing screen presence. so cute and funny!
